Ava Wright walked out of the hospital room in a daze.

She wanted to destroy Alia Wright; she couldn’t wait to ruin Alia Wright.

Using an anonymous phone number, she sent Alia a text: "Haven’t you always wanted to know clues about your biological parents? Your biological brother’s child ended up in Aning City. If you want to know where the child is, co to Neon Bar at 9 pm tonight."

Alia is incredibly proactive when it cos to any movent from her relatives, there’s no doubt she’ll take the bait.

She’s going to let the most disgusting and ugly man ruin Alia.

And she’ll let the Shaw family’s eldest son witness it himself, catch her in the act!

...

Alia Wright received the ssage and her face darkened.

Her brother does indeed have a lost child.

A nurse from the hospital stole from the frozen sperm bank and gave birth to a child through artificial insemination.

The woman nad Alma Cooper knew what kind of prestigious family the Allen family in Capital City was, and after giving birth to the child, she planned to raise him until he was a few years old before taking him back to Capital City, hoping mother and child would help her marry into the Sutton Family.

In the previous life, Alma appeared a few years later and deceived Alia, saying she had a brief affair with her brother and even had a child, providing a paternity test as evidence.

Alia believed her and brought Alma and the child back to the Allen family, questioning her brother why he wasn’t taking responsibility.

Her brother was an upright man and knew he hadn’t done such a thing, but because of Alia, he kept Alma and the child.

After that, Alma stirred up trouble within the Allen family.

When her brother refused to marry her, Alma and Ava Wright together falsely accused him.

Her brother was wrongfully imprisoned and they broke his leg, which was the beginning of all disasters.

That was when Alia realized Alma was planted by the Wright family, who had been plotting against the Allen family for a long ti.

Upon learning the truth, she regretted so much she wanted to kill herself.

She was the one who caused trouble for her brother.

But in the end, her brother said he didn’t bla her, only regretting that the child had suffered abuse, developed a tendency for isolation, and even though they managed to bring him back, they still hadn’t taken good care of him.

Her brother’s regret in his past life, she wished to help complete now.

After being reborn, Alia tried all she could to find this child.

Based on the fragnted mories of her previous life, she knew the child’s appearance was related to Cloudtop Cafe.

So after being reborn, she went to the cafe multiple tis, not because she liked coffee, but to see if she could co across any useful clues.

Now soone has sent her a ssage claiming to know the child’s whereabouts.

Even though she knows there’s a high possibility of being deceived, Alia still decided to go.

Of course, even knowing it could be a trap, she planned to make so preparations.

Alia went back to Old Town No. 32 and crafted so drugs.

She changed out of the usual white she’d been wearing since her rebirth and put on a black dress.

Fitting black long dress, skin like cream, cold white as jade, it seed as though black and white clashed forcefully, surpassing all the other colors in the world.

No longer beside Godfery Shaw, she no longer felt bound to that pristine white.

Since deep down she’s full of thick black, and blood-red, unable to hide, she wouldn’t bother trying.

She picked up a hairpin with a sharp tip and casually coiled her long hair up.

As darkness approached, the ti drew near, and Alia took a taxi to Neon Bar.

When she walked into the bar step by step, it seed as though the noisy bar suddenly quieted down.

She was like a fairy walking out of the night, naturally belonging to the darkness.

Alia was actually not dressed up intentionally, her face had no trace of makeup, and her black long dress was the most ordinary one.

She appeared completely indifferent to the gazes around her, sitting down at the bar and taking out her phone to send a ssage: "Where are you? I’m already here."

The bartender grinned as he approached: "Hey beauty, what would you like to drink?"

"Plain water, thank you."

The bartender froze, since when did anyone co to a bar to drink plain water?

But looking at the breathtaking beauty before him, the bartender didn’t refuse, he actually went to get a glass of plain water.

Alia just sat at the bar waiting, a continuous stream of people ca to chat her up, but Alia seed to turn a deaf ear, not responding to any of them.

Even those who drank too much and tried to pull Alia, they backed off in disappointnt when t with Alia’s gaze colder than the night.

Until a man sat next to Alia, with half of his face scarred from burns, ugly in appearance, gaze filthy.

"Hey beauty, here on your own?"

Alia didn’t even lift her head, nor did she spare a glance from the corner of her eye.

In the man’s filthy gaze, he openly leered with evil intent: "Heard you were looking for that child?"

The glass holding the plain water in Alia’s hand hit the bar with a bang.

She slowly raised those expressive eyes, animosity surging, squinting slightly because the view was unclear, making others fail to see the hostility, like a cat just waking up.

"Where is the person?" she asked.

Alia knew that getting information today wouldn’t be easy.

If that ssage really was from soone trying to help her, they wouldn’t have arranged to et her at this bar late at night.

The man smiled, his scarred face looking even more distorted and ugly, without answering Alia’s question, he waved at the bartender: "Two Long Island iced teas please."

Alia didn’t rush to ask again.

Not until the bartender prepared the drinks.

The man with a scarred face pushed a drink in front of Alia, "Drink this and I’ll tell you, how about it?"

Long Island iced tea—those unfamiliar with it would assu it’s a beverage based on its na, but it’s actually one of the strongest drinks in the bar.

One glass down, enough to make a person lose consciousness.

"How will I know the information you provide is genuine?" Alia spoke coldly.

"The child is called Emily Allen."

Alia’s fingertips moved slightly, that child indeed is nad Emily Allen.

Though this person may not know the child’s location, he certainly has information about the child.

Alia picked up the glass of Long Island iced tea, her lips curving into a smile like an enchanting siren: "Are you sure you want to drink this?"

The man with the burn marks intensified the evil intentions in his gaze: "Sure, drink and I’ll tell you."

The glass gradually neared her red lips, the liquid sliding down her throat like red tea, with a hint of sour sweetness.

The man opposite swallowed hard.

The glass Alia put down was already empty.

Her gaze beca increasingly hazy.

"Hey beauty, co with , we’ll find a place, I’ll tell you the information privately."

"Okay then."

Alia stood up as if she were drunk, her graceful steps turning lethargic.

Watching the scene unfold, the patrons at the bar were dumbfounded.

It’s like a swan walking with a toad, what’s going on?

No, this man doesn’t even qualify as a toad.

Alia followed the man to the hotel upstairs from the bar.

Her voice was lazy, pale, and weak: "Now will you tell ?"

The man locked the door, his ugly face contorting with a grin, slowly unbuttoning his shirt and approaching Alia.

Sensing his approach, Alia unexpectedly laughed.

Her voice whispered ominously: "Locking the door really does make things easier!"
