Compared to Alva King, Nancy Allen naturally trusts Frank more.

Many tis, just by looking into soone’s eyes, you can see what kind of person they are.

Frank, back then, did everything he could to sell his house and raise money to save his mom, and he believed he had helped her. No matter how she refused, he would often co to the shop to help.

As for Alva King, Nancy Allen also helped her, yet she took the money and didn’t even do her job well.

Alva King angrily looked at Frank, cursed, "Did you say sothing? My family is very poor, I really need this job. I just made a small mistake. Did you say sothing to the shop owner to kick out? You are so nasty!"

Frank’s face went pale and then flushed; he didn’t curse back, only said, "Your attitude is the problem. You can’t do your job well and still bla others."

Alva King shouted, "What didn’t I do well? What didn’t I do well? Isn’t this flower shop tidy? Don’t tell you organized this; I was delayed for just ten minutes. Shop owner, this person loiters around the flower shop with no good intention towards you. Don’t listen to his nonsense."

Frank was so upset his face turned red, and after a long pause, he stuttered, "I organized it myself, don’t talk nonsense."

"How am I talking nonsense? Shop owner is beautiful; look at your eyes—can they leave the shop owner for a mont? Do you dare say you have no thoughts about the shop owner?"

"I... I have only gratitude towards Nancy Allen!"

"Look, calling her Nancy Allen! Clearly a pretty boy."

Alva King, who mixed in the market, had seen many shrews scolding people; Frank was no match.

Nancy Allen frowned slightly as she listened to these unpleasant words.

Luna Sumr had been paying attention to Nancy Allen. She stepped forward to block Alva King after noticing the Young Madam frowning, solemnly saying, "Step back, don’t shout in front of my lady."

Alva King’s face turned ugly, saying, "Then why don’t you stop him?"

Luna Sumr looked at Frank and then at Alva King, instinctually feeling Frank was more trustworthy.

Of course, her intuition wasn’t important; what mattered was the Young Madam trusted Frank.

Luna Sumr said bluntly, "Because your cheap perfu is stinking up my lady!"

Luna Sumr was straightforward and felt this person was not good; she would say what she thought.

Alva King was so angry her eyes turned red and she dropped her act, "What lady, you look like a fox spirit, seducing n everywhere. So what if you’re rich? If I don’t do this job, I won’t. Sooner or later, I’ll be richer than you."

Nancy Allen frowned, growing impatient, "Alva King, I recall I did not treat you badly."

Alva King’s expression stiffened, a hint of jealousy flashing in her eyes.

Before she could speak, Luna Sumr stepped forward and punched Alva King in the stomach.

Not a slap, Luna Sumr didn’t like hitting people with a slap; a real punch landed on the belly, slapping looked ugly.

Their boss said nobody could bully the Young Madam, not even the second young master.

If even the second young master couldn’t bully the lady, how dare this woman appear from nowhere and curse her to her face?

Those two Capital City socialites who had hidden among the reporter group speaking those harsh words to the Young Madam, Luna Sumr had gone to beat up later.

Alva King couldn’t believe it, "You... how dare you hit soone."

Luna Sumr snorted coldly, "Even dogs know gratitude. Our lady helped you, but you don’t know that, less than a pig or dog. I’m hitting you, now get out. If I hear you speak disrespectfully of our lady again, you’ll regret having a mouth."

Alva King was scared white.

Luna Sumr saw the Young Madam was a bit impatient, obviously not interested in handling these matters.

So she stepped forward and threw Alva King out of the flower shop.

After throwing her out, Luna Sumr returned to see both the Young Madam and Frank looking at her, feeling a bit embarrassed, she said quietly, "Young Madam, I usually don’t act so violently."

Indeed, people are different.

Alva King can speak disrespectfully to those who helped her as she wishes.

Yet Luna Sumr, at seventeen, younger than Alva King, due to Hailey Smith’s past help, is fiercely protective of Hailey, doing anything Hailey arranges without considering danger.

So things aren’t about age but nature.

To Nancy Allen, the flower shop incidents were minor things, just getting a new shop assistant would fix it.

She rubbed Luna Sumr’s head softly, saying, "You did well."

Luna Sumr’s eyes sparkled imdiately; she would tell the boss later that the Young Madam praised her!

Nancy Allen decided not to recruit anyone else, planning instead to contact Emma Lewis to find soone else to look after the shop.

Frank hung his head, saying, "Nancy Allen, I really am only grateful to you, I’ve never had any other thoughts."

Nancy Allen patted Frank’s shoulder, saying, "I know, it’s my poor judgnt, not recognizing Alva King’s evil intent. Co on, the weather is cold, let treat you to hotpot."

Frank hadn’t spoken.

Luna Sumr quickly interjected, "Young Madam, hotpot is too greasy and spicy; you can’t eat hotpot."

Nancy Allen replied, "Then let’s eat seafood crab."

Luna Sumr conscientiously said, "Crabs are cold and damp, bad for your health, you can’t eat them either."

Nancy Allen looked at Luna Sumr mournfully.

Frank couldn’t help but laugh, "Nancy Allen, you must take care of your health, avoid eating foods you shouldn’t."

Nancy Allen sighed, "Then let take you for so snacks."

Before Luna Sumr could object, Nancy Allen quickly said, "I won’t eat, isn’t it okay if I just watch?"

Luna Sumr said seriously, "Okay."

This street was a student street, full of snack shops. Nancy Allen took them through the streets, eating skewers, fried potatoes, stinky tofu, sugar-coated haws, and the like.

Of course, Nancy Allen simply watched them eat.

...

At a fish stall in the marketplace.

A fat man in an apron angrily said, "Painting painting painting, you only know how to scribble on your face, told you many tis to be realistic, work hard and steadily, I want you to take a year off to study well, but you don’t agree, daydreaming about marrying a wealthy man, you’ve embarrassed ."

Nancy Allen had no idea that from the start, Alva King deceived her; it wasn’t that her family didn’t let her retake a year, but they did let her, although she was arrogant and didn’t want to retake it, solely aiming to marry a rich man.

Coming to the flower shop was mostly because Nancy Allen didn’t look like a poor person, hoping to leverage Nancy to et wealthy n.

Pretending to be humble and pitifully deceiving Nancy.

Alva King looked distastefully at the fishy-slling man in front of her, dismissively saying, "I know, after all, I didn’t spend your money, why do you care? Just watch, I’ll marry into money one day."

"You... How could I have such an ungrateful daughter!"

Alva King ignored her father who was cleaning fish, taking out her phone to start chatting.

"Are you there? You haven’t co around these days. Let tell you, our shop owner returned, hanging around with that college pretty boy, unlike . I never get too close to anyone except the one I like."

Marsh Smith received the ssage, impatient.

But seeing it was from the flower shop lady, he still opened and checked it out.
