Nancy stuffed the phone she snatched back into Godfery Shaw’s hand.

She compromised, "Fine, don’t delete it then."

Godfery pushed his luck, "So, can I take more pictures of you in the future?"

Nancy t Godfery’s expectant gaze and, as if possessed, nodded, "Sure."

Godfery smiled at Nancy.

That smile on the face Nancy had coveted for so long made her heart flutter warmly.

Blushing slightly, Nancy said, "If you’re awake, get up quickly. We still have guests at ho."

The two of them got up together, brushed their teeth, and washed their faces.

Living as a couple gave them a surreal sense of happiness.

They changed clothes and went downstairs. At the staircase, Godfery’s usual calm returned to his face.

Because downstairs, the dining room was full of people.

Godfery wasn’t used to such lively scenes.

"Mr. Shaw, why sleep in so late? We’ve almost finished breakfast," Sophie Allen chided, then turned to Nancy with concern, "Mom, you’re not well, why didn’t you sleep a little longer? Co, sit down. Grandpa the butler saved you so delicious food."

Sophie woke up this morning to find her mom missing, assuming she got up early. But when she ca downstairs, she didn’t see Nancy.

Now, seeing Godfery and Nancy coming downstairs together, the truth was obvious.

Mr. Shaw just likes competing for her mom!

Sophie’s differential treatnt made everyone at the table chuckle.

Once Nancy arrived, Joyce went to the kitchen and brought out more food, including a special dicinal al for Nancy.

Godfery, habitually trying to feed Nancy in front of so many people, got a glare from her, so he placed the food into her bowl instead.

Everyone could see that Godfery and the people at Imperial Garden genuinely cared for Nancy.

People began to express their feelings.

"Shaw, we’re entrusting Nancy to you, so you better treat her well."

"If you don’t treat Nancy well, no matter how capable you are, we’ll take her back imdiately."

"You two have been through so much over the years. It’s nice to see you settling in such a stable and happy life."

Godfery patiently responded to each of their comnts.

Emma Lewis listened as she ate, finding the food at Imperial Garden very tasty. Already full, she stuffed another dumpling into her mouth and swallowed it in a few bites.

Listening to everyone, she couldn’t help but add, "Godfery Shaw, tell , can’t you have a normal relationship without those life-and-death injuries and disappearances?"

Emma always dared to speak her mind. After all, she once faced Godfery in a fight; how could she not be bold?

Basil Smith tugged at Emma’s sleeve beside her, hinting to tone it down since the young master was present.

Emma simply didn’t get it, "B... Basil, don’t pull . I’m just speaking the truth. Whose married life is like this? Are they truly loving each other till they’re dead and gone?"

Last night, Emma promised to only call her young lady behind closed doors.

Basil helplessly massaged his forehead.

Everyone at the table turned their eyes to Godfery.

Godfery placed a piece of pastry onto Nancy’s plate, then lightly said, "We’re going on a date today."

Everyone was stunned. Was soone like Godfery Shaw actually talking about going on a date?

Even Nancy looked over at Godfery. When did they ever agree to go on a date? Wasn’t she supposed to wait two more days before going out?

Godfery saw Nancy’s questioning look and explained, "I know you want to go out. I will accompany you; there won’t be any issues."

Recently, Nancy had indeed shown a desire to go out.

It wasn’t that she had to go out; she just wanted to see her family and visit the garden she almost forgot.

Now that Godfery was taking her out on a date, Nancy certainly wouldn’t say she could stay at ho instead.

At this mont, Emma’s eyes widened with interest and asked, "Where are you going on your date? What are you planning to do? Can I join you?"

Basil placed another dumpling into Emma’s mouth, finally silencing her.

After breakfast, under everyone’s gaze, Godfery really took Nancy out.

With both of them gone, what were the others doing still at Imperial Garden? They all returned to their own hos.

Nancy was doing just fine.

Everyone went about their work or studies.

Only Emma, full of energy, exclaid, "Basil, let’s follow them. I’m so curious. How does soone like Godfery Shaw even date?"

Basil replied helplessly, "We’ve already booked our honeymoon tickets."

As she watched Godfery’s car about to disappear, Emma exclaid anxiously, "Postpone the honeymoon! I’ve been everywhere; there’s nothing much fun out there. I bet watching them date is more fun. Co on, Basil, let’s go. Young lady... please!"

Basil blushed; that "young lady" had been called countless tis last night.

Basil called the driver, and the two of them followed Godfery’s car.

This was Basil’s first ti doing such a thing, and this earnest person felt very uncomfortable.

Emma, beside Basil, was very excited, "Be careful not to get caught. Quick, follow them!"

In the car ahead.

Nancy looked at Godfery beside her, puzzled, "Godfery Shaw, where are you taking ?"

Godfery answered earnestly, "On a date."

Nancy found it hard to imagine dating with Godfery. This man had no particular hobbies or interests.

If she had to say, his first love was her, and the second was making money.

Surely they couldn’t be dating by reviewing files and reports together?

However, seeing where Godfery brought her, Nancy was slightly startled.

A library?

Godfery delivered his first overbearing statent of the day, "Don’t you like reading? Today, I’ve booked the whole place for you. Read whatever you want."

Who books an entire library?

Nancy found it amusing, yet there was sothing familiar about this scene.

Then she rembered a book she had read so ti ago.

The Overbearing Young Master and His Little Wife.

The couple in the book had their first date in a library. At the ti, it made Nancy laugh uncontrollably.

Unexpectedly, this happening fell upon her.

The problem was, the novel’s heroine was a working student who couldn’t afford so books she wanted, so the male lead brought her to the library, and she was very happy.

But it wasn’t the sa for her...

Seeing Nancy unresponsive, Godfery asked in puzzlent, "What’s wrong? Don’t feel like reading?"

Not wanting to make Godfery feel awkward, Nancy reluctantly picked up a book. Since she was already here, she might as well read for a bit.

The vast library was silent, with only the sound of turning pages, leaving Godfery feeling that ti was serene, and that this was surely the right place for their date.

Outside the library, Emma burst out laughing, "Bas... Basil, pinch , I can’t stop laughing. Who books a library? Godfery Shaw is killing !"

Basil kept calming Emma down, "Let’s go back now that we’ve seen them."

Emma finally stifled her laughter, but refused, "No way, I’m not leaving. I want to keep watching. I have to see what else Godfery Shaw plans to do today."

In the library.

Originally, Nancy wasn’t in the mood for reading. Being watched by Godfery only made it harder.

In the novel she was reading, the main characters stayed in the library for a long ti, and the heroine blushingly kissed the hero.

Seeing Godfery’s curious expression, as if he were waiting for that kiss, Nancy felt her head spin.
