This is a kind of paralysis, more absurd than blindness!

Nancy Allen felt it was her body’s way of taking revenge on her for neglecting it over the years.

Godfery Shaw was still asking the doctor on the other end about matters to be cautious about.

Nancy Allen didn’t want to say anything anymore.

Godfery Shaw put down his phone and looked at Nancy Allen with a gentle expression.

In one last struggle, Nancy Allen softly said, "Godfery Shaw, you’re so busy, it’s really inconvenient for to stay at the Imperial Garden like this. Perhaps you could take back to Ink Manor, where soone can look after ."

Godfery Shaw replied with utmost calm, "I’m not busy."

Nancy Allen wanted to roll her eyes; if Godfery Shaw weren’t busy, there might be very few people busy in Riverwood City.

But seeing his deanor, she knew in her condition, Godfery Shaw wouldn’t let her leave.

Nancy Allen sighed internally, resigning to her fate.

She was only a bit worried that living under the sa roof, she might run into Julius Shaw.

Julius Shaw said he would co to get his bracelet in two days, and today was the second day. Would he co looking for her?

If Julius Shaw ca to the Imperial Garden and caused a scene in front of Godfery Shaw, what would happen then?

Thinking about all these sses, Nancy Allen’s head started aching again.

Godfery Shaw didn’t know what Nancy Allen was thinking, as he gently carried her to wash up, tenderly as if caring for a child. When Nancy Allen blushed, he closed his eyes and helped her change clothes, then took her downstairs.

Joyce had already prepared breakfast and looked delighted to see Godfery Shaw carrying Nancy Allen down. It seed there was a clear developnt in the relationship between the young master and young madam.

The breakfast was quite hearty, and Godfery Shaw, not putting Nancy Allen down, just placed her on his lap and fed her with a spoon.

Nancy Allen could barely lift her hand now, but holding a spoon made her hand tremble, so she resigned to Godfery Shaw feeding her.

Anyway, there weren’t many people in the Imperial Garden; only Joyce saw them, and in a couple of days, she should recover sowhat, so she didn’t mind breaking the pot to pieces.

She thought Godfery Shaw’s claim of not being busy ant he would stay with her at the Imperial Garden.

Unexpectedly, after breakfast, Godfery Shaw planned to take her to the office.

Carried softly in Godfery Shaw’s embrace, Nancy Allen couldn’t help but whisper, "Godfery Shaw, why don’t I stay at the Imperial Garden while you go to the office? I don’t need soone to be with all the ti."

Godfery Shaw didn’t refute but just asked, "Can Nancy go to the bathroom by herself?"

Nancy Allen swallowed all her unwillingness.

She’s soone who cherishes personal space; besides a few special people, she indeed wouldn’t want others to support her to the bathroom.

Moreover, what if she t Julius Shaw without Godfery Shaw around?

Honestly, Nancy Allen stopped resisting, now truly delicate and frail.

Godfery Shaw usually went directly from the underground parking to the top floor, so not many people saw them.

Nancy Allen didn’t know why, but facing an uncertain future, she was reluctant for others to see her close to Godfery Shaw.

However, Godfery Shaw once again did sothing that took Nancy Allen by surprise.

He walked right through the front door of the first-floor lobby, carrying her.

Nancy Allen clung to Godfery Shaw’s shirt and whispered, "Godfery Shaw, what are you doing? It doesn’t look good if people see us like this."

Godfery Shaw appeared upright and questioned in confusion, "We’re officially boyfriend and girlfriend, and actually husband and wife. What’s wrong with this?"

Nancy Allen had nothing to refute.

What Godfery Shaw said made perfect sense, although their interactions didn’t quite resemble those of a couple.

Nancy Allen wanted to oppose, but it was too late; Godfery Shaw had already carried her inquiring.

It was office rush hour, and Nancy Allen saw everyone’s shocked expressions.

Godfery Shaw, unaffected by the scrutiny, proceeded indifferently.

Nancy Allen, burying her face in Godfery Shaw’s chest, felt utterly bewildered at the turn of events.

Godfery Shaw had recently unconsciously worn a mischievous smile, and she, obediently staying still, didn’t seem too bad.

The next mont, Godfery Shaw’s deep voice coldly sounded in his mind, "Julius Shaw, stow that malicious thought."

His expression returned to normal as they entered the private elevator.

Once in the office, Nancy Allen imdiately said, "Godfery Shaw, I want to rest. You do your work; I’ll just stay in the lounge."

Godfery Shaw didn’t agree: "It’s not good to sleep too much right after waking up."

Finally, having a chance to touch her without any concerns, he wouldn’t let it slip away.

Godfery Shaw held Nancy Allen on his office chair.

He took out files to the side, then turned on the video player on his computer, asking Nancy Allen, "If you’re bored, watch a show. What TV show or movie do you want to watch?"

Nancy Allen thought using Godfery Shaw’s office computer to watch a show wasn’t quite right, yet sitting awkwardly in his lap felt worse.

So she ntioned an ani.

After setting it up for Nancy Allen, Godfery Shaw started his work.

He worked seriously on one side and watched ani on the other, looking quite odd.

When Basil Smith ca in, he saw the peculiar scene and debated whether it was appropriate to have the ani sound so loud; wouldn’t the young master get distracted?

Basil Smith, thinking of asking for a few days off, swallowed the idea and carried the files he brought back to his office.

With Godfery’s antics, the entire Cloudglow knew about it.

Before, it was just hearsay that the young lady had returned. Today, many saw it firsthand.

More delicate and cold than five years ago, yet being carried by the young master into the office, was this a public declaration?

Thinking about it, so pitied the second young master, who was rarely seen.

His wife, now close to his brother, with no part in the company for him.

People at Cloudglow had all kinds of wild imaginations, wondering what charm she possessed. Was it rely because she was beautiful? She seed even more bewitching than a siren. The old adage that beauties could bring disaster seed justified, though they only dared whisper these thoughts, not openly discussing Godfery Shaw’s affairs.

After watching a few episodes of ani, Nancy Allen was genuinely sleepy.

Originally prone to sleepiness, her current physical condition only exacerbated it.

Godfery Shaw always had half his mind on Nancy. Seeing her yawn, he started putting away the files.

Like a gentle big brother, he softly said: "I’ll take you to the lounge to sleep for a while, alright?"

Nancy nodded.

Godfery Shaw paused the ani and carried Nancy to the lounge, attentively covering her with a blanket before leaving.

Already quite sleepy, Nancy quickly fell asleep after lying down.

She didn’t notice the text ssage notification on her phone beside her.

Without unlocking, one could see the sender on the screen: Elijah Jefferson.

"Little one, you never have to apologize to . I honestly admit I like you, not to disrupt your life, but because I feel if I don’t say it, I will regret it for a lifeti."
