Julius Shaw left, and Nancy Allen lay on the lounge chair as if exhausted.

Julius Shaw was too insane, what should she do?

Should she tell Godfery Shaw and think of a way together to lock Julius up?

But thinking about the five years in the previous life when so of the good she experienced ca from Julius, she couldn’t harden her heart.

Frustrated, she reached out to remove the earrings from her ears, and just then, she received a text ssage from Julius.

"Nancy, I hope you wear the earrings I gave you every day, and the new bracelet you promised , I’ll co to get it in a couple of days."

After reading the ssage, Nancy was so angry that she threw her phone to the ground.

She hesitated for a mont, but finally lowered the hand that was touching her earlobe.

Long ago, she was certain that Julius had a crush on her, so no matter how obsessive he was, he wouldn’t really harm her, but now it seed Julius would harm those around her.

Nancy felt like she was living with a ticking ti bomb.

And this bomb had once shown her kindness, so she couldn’t simply defuse it.

She needed to stay calm and slowly figure a way out.

That night, Nancy tossed and turned, unable to sleep again.

The slight chill on her earlobes seed to constantly remind her of Julius’s presence.

Finally, she picked up her phone from the floor and fell asleep hazily looking at the photos of Godfery Shaw she had taken that day.

After leaving the old city, Julius didn’t return to Imperial Garden.

Filled with pent-up hostility, he went to a ntal asylum.

It was ti to visit so old acquaintances.

Amos Shaw had been convicted of deliberate murder and sentenced to life imprisonnt.

In the end, the Shaw family tried to save Amos by faking a diagnosis of ntal illness.

Everyone was surprised at that ti, considering Godfery’s relentless nature, that he didn’t find a way to kill Amos, and had indeed allowed Amos to be released for ntal illness treatnt.

However, once released, the Shaw family realized sothing was off.

Amos was sent to a ntal asylum, where they couldn’t get him out or even et him.

This asylum was under Godfery’s control.

It was then the Shaw family understood that Godfery’s decision not to finish off Amos was not out of magnanimity, but so he could personally tornt him.

anwhile, the Shaw family lacked the energy to care about Amos as Godfery was attacking them with a reckless determination, willing to perish together if necessary.

And in this ntal asylum, there was not only Amos but also Ava Wright.

Ava, unable to accept the consequences of her actions back then, played crazy and revealed Nancy and Godfery’s relationship. Regardless of whether she was truly mad or just pretending, Godfery threw her into the ntal asylum.

At that mont, Julius was waiting in the director’s office.

Amos and Ava were brought in together.

As soon as he entered, Amos began wailing and struggling at the sight of Julius: "I won’t, let go of , I won’t see him."

Julius sat lazily on the sofa, legs crossed, watching Amos being pushed in front of him as he struggled.

Amos was now pale and haggard, his hair unevenly cut, his face covered in bruises, limping on one foot, and voice hoarse as if it had been ruined by poison.

He was now nothing but a defeated ss, with none of the confidence of the forr family heir.

Julius frowned and said, "Shut up."

The voice wasn’t loud, but Amos, who had been making a ruckus, suddenly fell silent as if soone had pressed a mute button.

He knelt before Julius like a lost dog, uncontrollably trembling.

Seeing Amos in front of him, Julius grew even angrier.

Impatient, he ordered, "Teach him a lesson first."

Soone imdiately started to hit Amos.

Amos seed accustod to being beaten, instantly covering his head and curling up into a ball.

With a hoarse and desperate voice, he shouted, "Spare , please spare ! The things I did were incited by the Shaw family, they were the ones who wanted to turn you into a weapon. The Alia Wright incident was also told to by the Shaw family. Go after them, my parents, my uncles, grandfathers, do whatever you want to them, I have been punished enough, spare ."

Soone like Amos always considered himself most important.

For his own sake, he would sacrifice anyone, which is why Godfery did not use family to threaten him but captured him directly, tornting him day after day.

In the midst of these screams, Julius said thoughtfully, "Too noisy, just make him mute."

Soone imdiately brought over a drug, the sa one Amos had used to silence Nancy, only in double the dosage.

Amos had already taken it once before, but perhaps being mute was too dull for torture, so they treated him slightly, allowing him to barely speak.

Amos gritted his teeth tightly, closing his mouth.

But how could he resist two strong bodyguards? His jaw was dislocated, and the drug was forced into his mouth.

Soon, the drug took effect, and blood began to trickle from the corner of Amos’s mouth.

He made incoherent sounds, unable to speak.

The next mont, Julius stood up, looked down at Amos, and stepped on his hand.

What followed was bloody and brutal torture.

The suffering Nancy endured back then, Julius vowed to repay a hundredfold!

Today, his hostility was particularly intense.

In the corner, Ava Wright witnessed it all with her own eyes; she wanted to look away but was forcibly made to face forward; she wanted to close her eyes, but her eyelids were forced open, making her watch the horrifying scene.

Ava Wright couldn’t even scream as she wanted, drooling uncontrollably while muttering, "I was wrong, the Wright family was wrong, everyone was wrong, I don’t want to be here, I’m not crazy, I’m really not crazy, Daddy and Mommy save , Marsh, save ..."

By the ti Julius had enough, Amos was covered in blood.

Like a demon, Julius said, "Take him away to treat him, don’t let him die."

Amos struggled to get up and slamd his head against the wall, wanting to die because living was too painful.

However, before he could reach the wall, he was dragged back.

It wasn’t Amos’s first attempt at suicide in these five years, but he never managed to do it.

Julius picked up a white towel next to him to wipe the blood from his hands, dropping the bloodied towel beside Amos’s face.

In the corner, Ava Wright, forced to watch everything, continued to cry and drool incessantly, more terrified than if the torture had been on herself.

Julius had a knack for identifying everyone’s weaknesses and always found the most suitable way to tornt people.

After venting his rage, Julius finally felt his anger subside.

Once his hostility was exhausted, Julius got up and returned to Imperial Garden.

In the car, he closed his eyes to rest, unconsciously falling asleep.

Upon reaching Imperial Garden, the car stopped, and he woke up.

Upon waking, his gaze resud its depth—Godfery’s persona was back.

Godfery looked at the bloodstains still on his hands, his expression cold.

He went upstairs silently, washed off the blood in the bathroom, and then carefully picked up the clothes on the floor that were kicked around.

He neatly organized the clothes he and Nancy had bought earlier in the day, and then just sat on the edge of the bed in a daze.

The split personality issue was becoming more severe.

What should he do?

In the old city, Nancy pondered the sa things, not knowing what to do.
