Karin observed the rings covered with black sealing symbols and asked, “Kuroto-sama, is this the next?”
Kuroto nodded, “Yes!”
After receiving Kuroto’s confirmation, Karin imdiately gathered chakra in her right hand and put it on top of the ring. A Black Rod, about the sa thickness as the ring, appeared out of her small palm and went through the ring.
The black rod is undoubtedly the Black Receiver created using the Yin-Yang release that Karin has been working on since she acquired the Rinnegan.
With the help of the Black Receiver, it is possible to modulate and demodulate Chakra, as well as transfer it to various points through the source in order to cast Ninjutsu singlehandedly, which may require more than one Shinobi.
Obito used several Black Receivers during the Fourth Great Shinobi War to create the Six-Red-Yang-Formation, and Kuroto is using the sa property of the Black receivers to program a Four-Red-Yang-Formation around the Ancor Vantian.
After Karin embedded the Black Receivers on all the marked rings, Kuroto weaved the hand signs and tapped on the ground.

White steam appeared out of the Sealing Arrays, and the rings in which the Black Receivers were embedded shone in a bright crimson light.
After activating the Sealing Array, Kuroto questioned Karin, “How is it? Is it connected with the power room?”
Upon hearing Kuroto’s question, Karin closed her eyes as Golden Chains appeared from her back and rged with the Sealing Array. After a mont of silence, she responded, “Yes, Kuroto-sama, the connection is proper.”
With a nod, Kuroto said, “Very well then, let’s move to the next checkpoint,” and proceeded toward the next checkpoint.
Karin nodded, “Yes!” and after retrieving the Golden Chains, she trotted behind Kuroto.
Of course, the Sealing Array that Kuroto is using is not a simple 'Four-Red-Yang-Formation'; there are changes he has made in the Fuinjutsu to suit his needs. Since a circle is considered one of the strongest three-dinsional shapes, he has chosen to give a circular shape to the 'Red-Yang-Formation' for creating the defense chanism.
To make these changes, Kuroto has combined the Fuinjutsu System of the Uzumaki Clan, as well as the Fuinjutsu System of the Miko lineage from the Land of Demons to create a Fuinjutsu Technique as per his requirents.
Kuroto needed to ensure that the defense chanism was both strong against attacks and efficient for Chakra consumption. After all, to create a defensive barrier on the level of the 'Four-Red-Yang-Formation,' the chakra requirents are enormous and require as much as the combined Chakra matching 'Four-Kage-Level-Shinobi.' That's a very high Chakra requirent. Even if he has Mōryō, the demon, as a source of Chakra, he couldn’t allow such enormous Chakra consumption all the ti. With this in mind, Kuroto and Karin continued to move through the different Checkpoints and soon completed activating all the Fuinjutsu Arrays. After confirming that everything was in order, Kuroto took Karin and Gaara, as well as all the important materials, away from the flying fortress and ca to the island.
“Move back!” he instructed Karin and Gaara, then weaved the hand signs and clapped, ‘Ninpō: Fuinjutsu: Red-Yang-Formation!’
Instantly, a crimson projection appeared around the flying fortress and took a spherical shape around it, protecting it from three-sixty degrees.
Karin exclaid in surprise, “Amazing, is this the Red-Yang-Formation?” She had only studied it before, and this was her first ti witnessing it. Since 'Red-Yang-Formation' is one of the strongest barriers created by the Uzumaki Clan, she is really excited and amazed to see it.
“It… it seems really strong!” Because of being a Jinchuriki, Gaara seems to have certain perception skills as well. Moreover, he is able to perceive the changes in the sand around the 'Red-Yang-Formation,' therefore, he realized that the barrier is really strong.
Kuroto muttered with a smile, “I can’t be certain how strong this formation is in comparison to the Four-Red-Yang Formation, but this one should be strong enough to easily withstand a Tailed-Beast Bomb.” Then questioned Karin, “Can you perceive your control over it?”
Karin answered, “Yes… I seem to have a certain degree of control over the Barrier,” and asked, “Is it because of the Black Receivers?”
Kuroto responded with a nod, “Indeed… I need you to be able to access the Fuinjutsu Array so that you can raise the defense level in case of an ergency during my absence. Since being able to do so requires a certain degree of mastery of Fuinjutsu, therefore, only you can do it other than !”
Kuroto’s words made Karin delighted, ‘I am being useful to Kuroto-sama!’
At this ti, Gaara asked, “Kuroto-sama, is the formation complete?”
“Complete?” muttered Kuroto with a chuckle, as he said, “How can it be complete without the testing phase? I need to test how strong its defense is.”
Gaara asked curiously, “How are you going to test it, Kuroto-sama?”
“Eh, well… I guess I’ll ask Toyotama for that,” answered Kuroto as he unsealed the Ryūmyaku Gourd.
Imdiately, purple mist erged from the Gourd and took the form of a purple eastern dragon around him.
Neither Karin nor Gaara was surprised at the sight of the dragon; they had seen it quite a few tis already, so they knew that this was the artificial-tailed beast that Kuroto had created and looked expectantly at Toyotama as well as the Circular-Red-Yang-Formation in the distance.
Without dilly-dallying, Kuroto instructed the Dragon, “Fire your strongest attack at that barrier!”
“Understood!” the dragon nodded in a mature feminine tone of voice and conjured up Chakra and Natural Energy in its mouth. The Chakra took the form of a sphere, and it was blasted at the spherical barrier covering the Flying Fortress.
Shaaaaa!
With a sharp sound, the Chakra sphere covered the distance and exploded as it touched the Circular-Red-Yang Formation.
BOOM!
There was a large explosion that resounded through the island. The smoke and dust rose in the sky, obstructing everyone’s vision. The ground cracked, and the trees turned into charred coal; however, the Circular-Red-Yang Formation remained as is, without any signs of holes, cracks, or damage.
“It works!” Karin jumped in excitent.
Gaara nodded, “Yes!” and high-fived Karin.
But unlike Karin and Gaara, Kuroto was not imdiately happy. Even though the Circular-Red-Yang Formation perfectly protected against the Chakra bomb that Ryūmyaku threw at it, there were still a few flickers he noticed in the Fuinjutsu Array because of his Byakugan. After marking all the points, Kuroto once again instructed Toyotama, “Don’t stop, continue the barrage!”
