On the way to the mansion of Patriarch’s house, Kuroto couldn’t help but curiously ask Hizashi, “Why did Hiashi-sama hold a clan eting at such a ti, it makes no sense… am I missing sothing?”
Unless sothing major happened, or there was a rare event, there would be no clan eting where all the clan mbers would gather, therefore, Kuroto is not sure.
Hizashi looked down, and said lightly, “I am not too sure either, just be careful, I have a bad feeling about it.”
“Bad feeling?” Kuroto was startled by Hizashi’s reply. He noted the solemnity on Hizashi’s expression and asked again, “Did sothing happen?”
Hizashi was silent for a while, then he sighed tiredly, and said, “I don’t know the specifics, I have only heard that the main family seems to be a little dissatisfied with Neji’s performance in the assessnt.”
“Huh?” Kuroto was more shocked, and asked with a frown, “Dissatisfied with Neji’s performance? What do you an Hizashi-sama? Neji’s performance was very good in the assessnt… although he wasn’t the MVP of the assessnt, he still perford very well, he tied with Uchiha Sasuke’s team for the second position in the assessnt.”
“Haha… yes he did.” Hizashi chuckled while looking at Kuroto and said, “Kuroto-kun, the more I converse with you, the more proud I feel of the decision I made back then.”
Kuroto was confused, “What do you an Hizashi-sama…?”
“Nothing.” Hizashi shook his head, and then without explaining anything he beca quiet since the Patriarch’s mansion was already in front of them.

Glancing at the crowded hall, Kuroto had a thoughtful expression on his face.
The scale of this eting is sowhat beyond his expectations. Jonins, Special Jonins, Chunin, Genins, and retired shinobis, almost all the shinobi of the Hyuga Clan present in the village have gathered in the hall to attend the eting.
‘What the hell are these old n from the main family planning?’ thought Kuroto with a pout as he took his seat on the futon beside Hizashi.
Not long after all the people were settled, people from the main family walked into the hall.
There were four mbers, except the Patriarch, and there were three other elders from the Elder Council of the Hyuga Clan, these three elders have quite a grip on the Hyuga Clan.
As the Patriarch and the three elders took their respective seats, the eting officially began.

In the eting hall, the Patriarch sat silently, from the looks of it, he didn’t seem to have any intention of speaking anything. Hiashi’s silent behavior caused the rest of the Hyuga Clansn to present in the eting hall to look at each other in dismay.
Cough! While no one was sure of what to do, one of the elders coughed lightly to attract everyone’s attention, and spoke in a rigid tone, “The purpose of holding today’s clan eting is to discuss what happened in the recently held Ninja Academy Assessnt.”
“To discuss what happened in the assessnt? Is it about the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki?”
“Is Elder Fukiage interested in discussing the Senjutsu thing used by the Jinchruki of the Nine Tails?”
“Maybe it’s about the giant beast that Uzumaki Naruto summoned… it really was massive, I wonder how strong it is?”
As soon as the elder Fukiage spoke, the Hyuga Clansn in the eting began to discuss various surprising things that happened in the assessnt.
Elder Fukiage was annoyed at the ntion of Uzumaki Naruto, he imdiately raised his hand to quieten the crowd, then spoke, “The matter related to the Jincrhuriki of Nine-tails has nothing to do with the Hyuga Clan, and I haven’t called everyone here to discuss anything about the fox demon… The reason all of you are here… it’s related to the actions of a child nad Hyuga Neji…”
Everyone frowned at the ntion of Neji, one of the Jonin perhaps realized sothing, and asked doubtfully, “Elder Fukiage… what do you an? Hyuga Neji’s performance in the assessnt was very good, he did nothing to embarrass the reputation of the clan. Although he didn’t attract as much attention as Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke, he still perford very well… especially when he and the other children acted together against the fake Akatsuki… that was very good.”
Several others agreed with Jonin’s opinion, “Yes… Neji’s team almost ranked second in the assessnt, there was a difference of only one scroll with the Team Ino-Shika-Cho…!”
“Humph!” Another elder sitting beside Elder Fukiage snorted coldly.
The cold snort of this elder caused everyone to shut their mouths.
Elder Fukiage coldly glanced at all the mbers of the branch family, and said in a stern tone, “From the perspective of a Konoha Shinobi… Neji’s performance was indeed very good and worthy of praise… However… don’t forget that before being a trainee of the Konoha Shinobi system, he was a mber of the Hyuga Branch Family, and the mission of his very existence was to protect the main family… which is sothing he not only failed to do, he didn’t even try to do.

Elder Sada’s words caused the branch family mbers to swallow nervously.
In the eyes of Elder Sada, the entire purpose of the existence of the branch family is to protect the main family. The mbers of the main family should be put above everything; be that love, parents, friends, or village!
