At this ti, a spiral whirl appeared in front of Nagato and Konan, and ‘Madara’ walked out of the whirl. He glanced at the newly created Six Paths of Pain, and asked, “How did it go?”
Nagato added calmly, “It went well…”
“Went well?” mumbled ‘Madara’ and to confirm sothing, he questioned, “In that case, when is the earliest you can use them in actual combat?”
Nagato pondered for a mont, then replied, “About one month should be enough to completely gain control over them.”
In fact, as far as the results of the previous drill are concerned, the newly created ‘Six Paths of Pain’ can already be used in battle, it’s just that Utakata of Kirigakure and Killer Bee of Kumogakure are along with their tailed beast are putting up strong resistance. More often than not, this resistance is not a problem, but when facing Yama and other mbers of Amatsukami, it might create problems, because when Nagato gets exhausted, his control over them might weaken.
At that mont of weakened control, Utakata and Killer Bee might be able to escape control, Nagato doesn’t wish to risk it, therefore, he is going to spend the next month training the newly created ‘Six Paths of Pain’ such that no mishap happens.
‘Madara’ murmured, “About a month?” He paused and questioned, “Then shall I make arrangents for the ‘final war’ about a month later?”
Nagato was stunned upon hearing ‘Madara,’ he pondered over it for a mont, then shook his head, “I need so more ti…”
‘Madara’ frowned, “More ti? What for?” The one who was eager to go to the ‘final war’ with the Five Great Nations and Amatsukami was Nagato, now that the ti has co, Nagato seems to be hesitant, and this made him confused.
“One month is enough to gain control over the new Six Paths of Pain, but it’s not enough to completely master Senjutsu… I need so more ti for that,” answered Nagato.
“Is that so?” mumbled ‘Madara’ seemingly pondering over sothing.
Nagato questioned, “Is sothing happening one month later?”
‘Madara’ nodded, and began explaining, “The final phase of the Joint Chūnin Exam will occur a month later, and probably all three Jinchūriki will gather in Konoha for that… Although it’s likely to be a trap, we can still use this opportunity to capture the Jinchūriki if we are careful…” Then he paused, and questioned, “What do you think?”
Before Nagato could answer, Konan spoke, “Nagato has already said that he won’t be ready by then…”
‘Madara’ ignored Konan and kept looking at Nagato, after all, the decision was up to Nagato.
But Nagato too shook his head, “At least two to three months… I need this ti to fully prepare myself…” And added after a pause, “After all, the main enemies are Yama and the other mbers of Amatsukami, no mistakes or carelessness can be allowed this ti. I want to be in my strongest form when we set out for the final war. Even if we miss this opportunity, that’s fine by . The final war, I do not wish to rush it.”
After a while of silence, ‘Madara’ nodded, “Very well.”
“That’s it…” nodded Konan, and said, “Then use this ti to acquire information on the missing elents… The position and general whereabouts of One-tail, the Ōtsutsuki Clan, Shimura Danzō, and by the way, the Uchiha Clan too…”
‘Madara’ shrugged, “So far, One-Tail hasn’t shown any signs of resurrection, I have my spies in Sunagakure, the mont One-Tail resurrects I will get the news, as for Ōtsutsuki Clan on the moon… it’s difficult to say, even the Hyuga Clan which is sohow connected with the Ōtsutsuki Clan doesn’t seem to know much about them… but I did learn that the Hyuga Clan had a conflict with the Ōtsutsuki Clan a few years ago…”
“A conflict between the Hyuga & Ōtsutsuki Clan?” both Nagato and Konan were surprised.
‘Madara’ nodded, “A representative of the Ōtsutsuki Clan ca down to the Shinobi World and was targeting the life of the Patriarch of the Hyuga Clan, the exact reason for targeting his life is unknown, but it is safe to say that Hyugas don’t know much about the Ōtsutsuki Clan, and they seem to be in a state of conflict…”
Both Nagato & Konan were silent upon hearing the details about the Ōtsutsuki Clan & the Hyuga Clan. Ever since they have learned that the leader of Amatsukami is a Ōtsutsuki (from the mouth of Hyuga Aoki), Akatsuki has also started to pay special attention to the Ōtsutsuki Clan, it’s just that they haven’t managed to learn all that much about the legendary Ōtsutsuki Clan.
Nagato suddenly questioned, “What about your spy in Konoha? The one who beca the Godai Hokage. He is a Hyuga too, right?”
‘Madara’ shrugged, “He doesn’t know much. Whatever limited information the Hyuga Clan has is in the possession of the main branch of the Hyuga Clan while he is a mber of the side branch. In fact, even on the matter of being the Hokage, he is just a puppet… Konoha’s leaders do not wish for the Uchiha clansn to beco the Hokage.”
Since there wasn’t any information on Amatsukami, Nagato lost interest in that matter, he didn’t care about the politics of Konohagakure, and changed the topic, “What about Shimura Danzō, has he surfaced?”
“It’s really strange… it’s been a lot of ti since he disappeared, and he hasn’t surfaced back since then. The Five Great Shinobi Villages are still searching for his tracks, but they haven’t found anything, Zetsu hasn’t been able to find anything about his whereabouts either. Shimura Danzō is not the kind of man who can remain silent for so long… even if he was seriously injured, there should have been so movent, but he seed to have completely vanished from existence after entering the Deserts of the Land of Wind… So, I suspect that he was secretly eliminated by Amatsukami… that’s the only explanation, other than the Akatsuki, only Amatsukami has enough strength to secretly eliminate him without drawing any attention…”
Hearing the explanation, Nagato clenched his fists, and said, “I will personally confirm this matter from Yama,” then he turned around and left the field with Konan.
“That’s up to you,” said ‘Madara’ as he watched Nagato and Konan Walk away. Although he did not express much interest in confirming Danzō’s matter, that’s only on the surface.
In truth, ‘Madara’ is more interested in Shimura Danzō than even Nagato. His interest in Danzō cos from his research of the Chira Jutsu that he has been doing for the past few months. Based on his understanding of Chira Jutsu, from the scroll that Hiroku left behind, the Chira Jutsu isn’t as high level as mastered by Danzō, which ans that acting Hokage turned traitor made so of his own that Jutsu which resulted in him attaining that monstrous strength.
To figure this out, ‘Madara’ even tried searching for the Root researchers who might have been part of Danzō’s Chira Research Project but turns out that each and every one of them was dead… all of Danzō’s research had died on the sa night he completed the ritual. Whether their death was Danzō’s handiwork or not difficult to figure out, but one thing is certain Jutsu’s potential was severely underestimated by him.
‘If I had the improved version, it would have been easier to create an army… but Danzō is probably dead, which ans I will have to make do with the version I have in my hand… oh well, since their number is quite large, even if the improvent will not be as exaggerated as Danzō’s, creating a few hundred Hiroku level Chira should be possible… with that kind of army, it wouldn’t be impossible to sweep away the entire Shinobi World… It might even be possible to deal with the entire Amatsukami!’ with such a thought in his mind ‘Madara’ activated his Jutsu and disappeared into a spiraling whirl.
