Looking at all the smoke rising into the sky and the humongous figure of Gamabunta, Raijin’s lips curved into a smirk, ‘Are things getting started over there?’
Even if Raijin did not have the Byakugan at the mont, the humungous figure of Gamabunta could not be hidden from his eyes, and the appearance of Gamabunta ans Uchiha Sasuke is in a tough spot.
“It should be Orochimaru-sama…” mumbled Raijin with a thoughtful expression under his mask. Although Raijin is not particularly certain about Orochimaru’s true purpose for appearing in the Chūnin Exam, he is quite sure that Orochimaru is targeting Uchiha Sasuke, perhaps for Sasuke’s body & Sharingan or maybe for sothing else. Regardless, he plans to be there and oversee the situation to make sure that Sasuke doesn’t end up losing his eyes and life.
In fact, Raijin does not have to worry about Sasuke’s life and eyes since Shisui and Shinichi must be keeping an eye on him, Naruto, and Mika for their safety, he does have to be there for the next step in Sasuke’s emotional Stimulation. If Orochimaru can contribute to stimulating Sasuke, then all the better, otherwise, Raijin will do sothing himself.
With that in mind, Raijin instructed both Samsara and Tengu, “Finish this quickly… we have sothing more important to do…”
Hearing Raijin’s instructions, both Raijin and Samsara nodded, “Understood,” and imdiately used their attacks to defeat a Genin squad from Iwagakure and took their scroll.
As Tengu collected the scroll, Raijin questioned, “Is it the scroll we need?”
Tengu nodded, “Yes…”
“Good, in that case, seal both of them inside a Storage Scroll,” said Raijin. He wanted to seal the Scrolls of Heaven & Earth inside a Storage Scroll to ensure that the two scrolls don’t get damaged during combat.
“On it…” nodded Samsara as she took the scroll Tengu handed to her and after she put it together with the Scroll she already had, she sealed them both inside a Storage Scroll for safekeeping. “It’s done… we can go, Raijin-sama.”
“Let’s go then…” said Raijin as he rushed toward the humongous figure of Gamabunta in the distance.
Both Samsara and Tengu nodded “Yes!” And quickly followed after Raijin.

“Gamabunta…” Looking at the huge figure of the familiar toad, Orochimaru squinted his eyes as if he had just rembered sothing. The squint soon turned into a smirk as he muttered to himself, “Oh yes… there was this rumor, so it was indeed true huh…”
Orochimaru had indeed heard of the rumor concerning the apprenticeship of Sasuke under Jiraiya. Truth be told, he couldn’t believe the rumor and thought that it was only that… a rumor. In his opinion, it is impossible for Jiraiya to accept a Uchiha as a disciple, it doesn’t make any sense, especially since Sarutobi Hiruzen is still alive.
But seeing Sasuke summon Gamabunta, the chief toad of Mount Myōboku, he could no longer doubt the authenticity of the rumor, and he couldn’t help but think, ‘It’s really surprising…’
Not only did Jiraiya accept Uchiha Sasuke as his disciple but he also helped Sasuke make a contract with Mount Myōboku, which is enough to surprise Orochimaru, ‘Is it also related to that Child of the Prophecy thing Jiraiya used to talk about… or it is just to pacify the Uchiha Clan. But then again, Jiraiya has always had an eye for good talent. Whether it was Nagato who went on to beco the leader of the Akatsuki Organization or Minato who beca renowned as the Yellow Flash and beca the Yondai Hokage, both of them are exceptional talent… Uchiha Sasuke is certainly not any different… it could be that Jiraiya also took fancy of Sasuke’s talent.’
Of course, Orochimaru did not wish to be outdone by Jiraiya in any aspect so he held his chin and thought to himself, ‘My disciples are not bad either… Even if Kuroto-kun hasn’t reached the sa level as Nagato, he has beco the Godai Hokage, sothing that even I couldn’t beco, and Kabuto has also mastered the Sennin Mode… his achievents won’t be bad either. As for Sasuke… while it’s true that Sasuke’s talent is very good, I doubt he would be able to develop that well under Jiraiya’s training… compared to Nagato and Minato, his character is quite different and he would require a different nurturing environnt.’
For a mont the idea of kidnapping Sasuke and escaping from Konoha appeared in his mind but the two presences he was able to sense in the surroundings made him dare not act recklessly, ‘Even if I want to take him under my wing, now is not the right opportunity…’

After smashing the Ice Mirror to bits once again, Naruto sighed. No matter how often he smashes these Ice Mirrors, more and more of them keep appearing as if they are stacked one after another, making all his efforts useless.
At this ti, Haku spoke lightly, “It’s useless… give and just stay here.”
Normally, it takes quite a significant amount of Chakra Reserves to use Water Release and Ice Release in regions that have no large Waterbody but that’s not the case when the humidity is very high and there’s a lot of water in the surroundings. The sudden heavy rain and clouds bursting from earlier had made things quite easier for Haku. His Chakra consumption when using Ice Style Ninjutsu has been reduced by sixty percent!
Ignoring Haku’s words, Naruto focused on the violent tremors on the ground and realized that things outside must be getting more violent, “It’s from Sasuke, right?”
Inside Naruto’s place of space, the nine-tail casually cleaned his ear using the nail of his pinky finger, and while blowing away the dust, he spoke to Naruto, “Yes, that Sasuke kid from your squad… he seems to have summoned that giant toad from the Mount Myōboku, which ans he is under a lot of pressure… You’d better get out of here quickly and help him, otherwise, the Otogakure ninjas might really succeed in killing the boy.”
“I know…” nodded Naruto as he clicked his tongue in annoyance. “I guess I will also do that…” Saying these words, Naruto bit his finger to draw blood and weaved the hand signs then slamd his hand on the ground, ‘Summoning Jutsu!’

Instantly a huge burst of smoke appeared within the Ice do and following the appearance of white smoke there was a sudden sound of all the Ice Mirrors being forcefully broken into pieces as a huge figure appeared from the smoke.
Sensing the danger, Haku instantly jumped out of the Ice Mirror that was about to break and leaped back in a hurry. As he did that, he could take a better look at the giant figure that suddenly appeared on the battlefield. It was a giant red snake with one eye surrounded by the cold fog.
‘This?’ Haku was a little surprised. He had not expected Naruto to summon such a big snake. Just by feeling the Natural Energy on the snake’s body, Haku could tell that it is very strong.
Garaga felt the chill from the surroundings and suddenly he felt sowhat tired as he spoke in a dissatisfied tone, “Naruto, don’t summon in such a cold place…”
Even if it’s Garaga, just like any other snake he doesn’t like Cold environnts all that much.
Standing on top of Garaga’s head, Naruto apologized, “I am sorry Garaga but the enemy this ti is too powerful, I had no other choice but to call for your help.”
“So, you say but where is the enemy?” asked Garaga, and while looking around he asked, “What place is this anyway… I have never once heard of a place as weird as this…”
Naruto pouted, “What are you talking about? We are in Konoha!”
Garaga looked around and noticed three different kinds of landforms, the first one filled with Ice, the second filled with white Bones, and the third filled with all kinds of crystals all eting at a single point, and couldn’t but murmur in surprise, “This is Konohagakure? When did such a weird landform appear in that village?”
