Turning back the Clock a few seconds.
“Naruto-kun, you must not lose!” mumbled Mika in worry as she noticed Naruto and his Shadow Clones getting overwheld by Kidōmaru.
Noticing Naruto’s state, Kotohi, and Kin Tsuchi giggled, “It seems both of your companions are going to die today…!” “But don’t worry, we are kind people, so we will send all three of you to the pure land together!”
As Kotohi and Kin Tsuchi spoke such words, both of them attacked Mika. Kin Tsuchi with her Senbon, and Kotohi with her hair.
Mika snorted coldly, “Don’t be so sure…!” and avoided both attacks using the Substitution Jutsu, then attacked both the Kunoichi with her hair. At this ti, the sound of the clinking of bells reached her ears.
Ding!
‘Huh? When did she?’ thought Mika as she weaved the hand signs to once again use the Substitution Jutsu in response to Kin Tsuchi’s Senbon attack, however, looking around she couldn’t see any Senbon coming toward her.
Just when she was confused, suddenly, Kin Tsuchi’s voice started to echo all around her.
“It’s useless…”
“You are going to die!”
Suddenly, Naruto’s panicked voice ca from her left, “Mika-chan!”
Next, Sasuke’s voice ca from her right, “Mika… Cough!”
“Just like your two companions currently dying!”
‘It’s… it’s just Genjutsu… Nothing would happen to Naruto-kun and Sasuke-kun…!’ with such a thought Mika tried to calm down the restlessness in her heart and focused on disrupting the flow of her Chakra in order to break free of the Genjutsu. “Haaaaaaaa!” But her concentration was broken as she suddenly heard the roar of a beast.
Roar!
Following the roar, her back started to get hot, incredibly hot to the point that it beca red. It was as if a sleeping beast wished to wake up and co out! Feeling the burning pain, Mika resisted the urge to shout, and spoke to no one in particular, “No... it’s not yet ti for you to co out… This level of threat does not require your aid…”
Whimper!
The whining sound of the sa beast reached Mika’s ears. Hearing the whining sound, she sighed lightly, “It’s alright… I might need your aid very soon… so please wait until then, Nue…”
With that, the beast seed to calm down and Mika sighed in relief, then once again attempted to break free of the Genjutsu, “Haaaaaaaa!” This ti, she succeeded, but as soon as she regained a sense of her surroundings, she found herself trapped in hair from head to toe, but the thing is, the hair trapping her wasn’t hers, “What happened?”
“Oh look… she broke free from the Genjutsu…” spoke Kotohi with a smirk, and added, “But it doesn’t matter… it’s too late already… you are already under my control… there’s no breaking free now… next, I am going to torture you to death!”
“I see, so when I was under Genjutsu, you restrained … No wonder Nue was getting agitated…” muttered Mika with a thoughtful expression. Even if she was completely restrained, she did not seem to be too worried about herself.
Neither Kotohi nor Kin Tsuchi liked that the Konoha’s Kunoichi wasn’t panicked or begging for them to spare her life, clicking their tongue both decided to start with the torture, “Let’s just get this over with… Kidōmaru seems to be finishing on his end too…”
“Right…” nodded Kotohi as she started to tighten the grip of her hair around Mika’s neck, trying to choke her to death, but contrary to what she expected, no matter how much strength she applied through her hair, there wasn’t any effect. Confused, Kotohi looked at Mika, “What’s happening?”
The Kunoichi of Team 7 answered, “You shouldn’t have waited this long… you had your chance, but you wasted it in pointless banter and trying to torture stuff…” Then much to Kotohi’s surprise suddenly, the ends of Mika’s hair combined together and transford into multiple blades (Hair Blades) that cut down Kotohi’s hair restraining her movent. As she was freed and landed back on the ground, Kotohi and Kin Tsuchi finally understood why they were unable to choke her to death, it was because her neck seed to have gained a tallic outer layer that resisted the Choke.
“What kind of ability is that?” wondered Kin Tsuchi.
It wasn’t just Kin Tsuchi or Kotohi who had such a doubt, Orochimaru who had been observing the entire fight from a distance also had an intrigued expression as he saw Shimizu Mika use her ability. Controlling hair to carry out various attacks is one thing, many ninjas are capable of doing that in the Shinobi World, but to transform hair into tallic Blades? Moreover, gaining an outer layer of tal over a body part? They have never seen or heard of such a power.
“It’s the perfect ability for a tool ant to dispose of the enemies of the village… well, that’s what I was told when my Kekkei Genkai was discovered, though others have told different thing… but either one is fine as long as I can protect what I cherish,” answered Mika as she controlled her hair Blades and directed them at Kotohi and Kin Tsuchi.
The two Otogakure Kunoichi looked at each other and ran in opposite directions, this was the only thod to safely escape Mika’s range of attacks, after all, hair extension Jutsu also has a range, so at a point in ti, Mika can only chase after one of them, which ans the other one would be safe and will be able to kill her, at least that’s what they thought, but could things be so simple?
‘Shadow Clone Jutsu!’
Mika simply weaved the hand signs to create a Shadow Clone of hers, and then the two nodded to each other and went after the two Otogakure Kunoichi.
…
A few seconds later
“I… I never thought that I would die in this manner…” were Kotohi’s last words as Mika used her Hair Blades to chop off her head off her torso.
On the other side, Kin Tsuchi’s body was nailed to a tree trunk and bleeding as several hair blades pierced through her body. Just like her companion, she too was dead.
After confirming that both Kotohi and Kin Tsuchi were dead, Mika reverted her hair back to normal, though the blood on them was not washed away, she couldn’t care about that thing at the mont, instead, she turned toward Naruto only to see him use the nine-tails Chakra to defeat Kidōmaru, and breathed a sigh of relief, “As expected, Naruto-kun won…”
Then hurriedly, she went after Naruto as the Nine-tail’s Chakra retracted back into his body, “Naruto-kun!”
Naruto turned around to look at the Kunoichi of their team, “Mika-chan, I won!”
Mika smiled, “I knew you’d win…” then she spoke with a solemn expression, “Next, we must help out Sasuke-kun… he is fighting five of them at the sa ti, and even if it is him, it would be difficult to hold off five of them!”
Naruto nodded with a serious expression, “I know…”
With that, both Naruto and Mika understood their job. Mika will go after the Kunoichi providing support to the Otogakure Ninjas trying to kill Sasuke, and Naruto will directly provide support to Sasuke.
“Let’s go!”
