Chapter 713: Chapter 714: Hit with a Stick, Give a Sweet Jujube_1 Chapter 713: Chapter 714: Hit with a Stick, Give a Sweet Jujube_1 As soon as ng Yunhan ca ho at noon, Father Zhao had prepared the al, waiting for ng Yunhan’s arrival.

Because Little Huzi finished school earlier than ng Yunhan, Father Zhao began preparing lunch as soon as Little Huzi was brought back.

“Hanhan, today when we picked up Little Huzi from kindergarten, his teacher praised him for being especially smart, able to speak English, recite poems, and even write. Little Huzi isn’t even four years old yet, but he can do so much already. He’s certainly bound to be Kyoto University material in the future.”

ng Yunhan glanced at her son’s proud little face, and couldn’t help but to tease, “He’s good at everything, except he can’t write his own na.”

Little Huzi’s smile instantly collapsed, “My na is too complicated.” Thus, he still didn’t know how to write it.

“Being too complicated is just an excuse. If you can write your na well, mom will believe that our Little Huzi is the best.” Disciplining children through a mix of rewards and punishnts works because children can also be competitive.

This might not be effective for long, but at least it can serve as an encouragent for now.

Little Huzi was indeed taken in, “Mom, I will definitely learn to write my na correctly.”

Mrs. and Mr. Yunhan observed ng Yunhan’s thod of encouragent. Could this be the generational gap?

“We believe in Little Huzi.”

Mrs. Yun whispered, “Hanhan, is Little Huzi too young?”

ng Yunhan, however, smiled gracefully, “Mother, if we don’t believe he can do it, he himself will also lack confidence. No matter if he ends up writing well or not, at least he’s tried. This, for him, is valuable education.”

Mr. Yun stopped his wife and said, “My dear, I think Hanhan is right. Without trying, there is no courage. Even if the attempt might end in failure, at least it’s a try, and this courage is worth praising.”

Upon hearing this, Mrs. Yun suddenly understood, “Hanhan, you’re indeed doing a great job educating him.”

Their other grandchildren are not as well-educated as Hanhan. It’s said that ‘you can see a person’s future in his deanor at the age of three’. Little Huzi, being so young and sensible, has a promising future beforehand.

As for other grandchildren, so say hello when they see her, and so don’t. That’s the difference made by education.

As ng Yunhan thought about her position as the deputy factory director, she decided not to hide the truth, “Mom, Dad, I might co back a bit late this afternoon because I need to drop by the factory.”

“Which factory?” Mrs. Yun asked in surprise.

Mr. Yun was also curious.

Father Zhao was also sowhat surprised. He didn’t expect his daughter would just have brought it up.

However, since his daughter was willing to tell, he wouldn’t object.

“I am currently a deputy director at a food factory. Rember I know how to make cakes? A food factory company saw my cakes and asked to be their deputy director. I want to improve our living conditions, so I took the job. My monthly salary is fifty dollars,” ng Yunhan half truthfully, half jokingly explained.

“Fifty dollars?” Mr. and Mrs. Yun exchanged surprised glances.

Being surprised at their third daughter-in-law getting appointed as the deputy director was one thing; the salary she earned every month was not a small amount either.

“Yes, fifty dollars. I only go to the factory on weekends and so afternoons. If we develop new products, I earn even more as a bonus.”

“Weren’t you supposed to graduate soon? If you graduate, can you still continue this job?” Mr. Yun was considering whether ng Yunhan would stay in the sa job after graduation.

“It depends on the job I get assigned after graduation. If it’s a good one, I might quit. If it’s a bad one and the package isn’t as good as at this food factory, I might stay.”
