Reborn in the Seventies: Pampered Wife, Owning some Farmland Chapter 212 - 212 Menopause1
Chapter 212: Chapter 212 nopause_1
She couldn’t figure out if this was her mother-in-law’s true personality or if it had been forced out of her?
Or was it because her nopause had arrived, causing changes in her personality?
Had her previously understanding mother-in-law started targeting her?
As if she was a villain, who had stolen her son and grandson.
So, she stopped speaking.
“I am now the son-in-law who lives in.” This was his way of telling his parents that he was no longer a son of this house but a son-in-law.
“Don’t listen to your mother, she also hopes Ahao and Little Huzi could stay.” Her father-in-law genuinely felt his wife had been acting strange recently. She used to be so considerate, but now her heart seed to have suddenly beco narrow-minded.
“Once the weather cools down a bit, I’ll take them….”
“It’s all your fault, all your fault…”
ng Yunhan was shocked by her mother-in-law’s sudden outburst. Why was she acting like this? Pointing her finger at her and blaming her?
Her father-in-law quickly held his wife, “Your mother’s feeling a bit unwell, I’ll help her back to the room.”
Then, the elderly man supported his wife toward their room.
ng Yunhan felt Yun Hao’s firm grip on her hand, “Ahao, it’s okay. Let’s go back to our room. Little Huzi is probably awake by now. With you accompanying him these last few days, he won’t make a fuss when he wakes up.” She felt it was strange that their son gave Ahao such special treatnt when she was the one who spent the most ti with him. Why was Ahao treated differently?
Yun Hao, assisted by ng Yunhan, slowly returned to their room.
“I’m sorry, wife.” Yun Hao felt guilty. He hadn’t realized that his mother harbored such a grudge against his wife.
His wife had been the kindest amongst his brothers’ wives to his mother, but now she was the one being ostracized.
ng Yunhan smiled and brushed it off, “It’s alright.”
But Yun Hao still felt guilt-ridden.
“Look, Little Huzi is sleeping peacefully.” ng Yunhan saw a small bubble around their son’s mouth, looking adorable.
The heat didn’t seem to affect his sleep at all.
“We’ll go back to town in a while.” Yun Hao hadn’t changed his habit of speaking very little.
He planned to return to town after this visit, rehabilitate for half a month, and then return to the army. He would then bring his wife and Little Huzi along. He knew his dad would not be willing to quit his job. He planned to take his parents with him after their retirent.
He had carefully planned out these things.
ng Yunhan frowned slightly, “Mother, I hope you could stay here for a few days.” This was her tactful way of saying that her mother-in-law wanted to keep them there and let her go back alone.
“Wife, I plan to return to the army in about ten days. It’s been so long since then, I wonder how the battlefield is?”
ng Yunhan didn’t know because when she saw him in that state before, all her attention and care were focused solely on him. She wasn’t the least bit concerned about anything else.
All she could do was console him, “It’s been a few months now.”
On the other hand, her parents-in-law…
The father-in-law tried to comfort her, “What are you trying to do? Initially, when the in-laws suggested taking Ahao to town and letting him be the live-in son-in-law, you agreed, didn’t you? Why are you going back on your word now?”
His wife retorted stubbornly, “I didn’t know he would wake up this quickly.”
The old man’s brows furrowed tightly, he sighed, “If Ahao heard what you said, I don’t know what he would think. When he was down, you pushed him away. Now that he’s awake, you want to pull him back. Why? Wife, has soone been putting ideas into your head? How did you get these thoughts? Ahao doesn’t owe us anything; if anything, we owe him. Ahao joined the army when he was only 15. He’s 30 now. Ever since he beca platoon leader, he has been sending money ho. He truly doesn’t owe us anything.”
