Si Chen hung a towel on the rack and openly said, "I have so issues with all of them."

Si Chen knew that Tong Yao was smart and sensitive to many things. She might have already guessed sothing, but it was indeed hard for him to disclose everything.

He wasn’t sure how Tong Yao would perceive the Si family’s darkest secret, if exposed. He wondered if she would find him disgusting.

The world Tong Yao lived in was so clean, and he didn’t want to taint her ears or her world view with these sordid details.

Noticing that he didn’t want to elaborate, Tong Yao jokingly changed the subject, "If you’re busy, then don’t bother. I’ll be busy for a few days as well. Xiaohui has her little uncle’s support now, so she’s not treating

too kindly anyway. I don’t feel like running around after her."

Si Xiaohui was the quintessential tyrant, treating others poorly just because she has soone backing her. But Tong Yao wasn’t the type to be bullied.

As for Lin Fengying, she wasn’t visiting to see her anyway. Tong Yao didn’t feel like pleasing her ungratefully.

Si Chen grinned at her while placing his hands on his button. Tong Yao blushed and quickly ran out of the room. She could hear Si Chen’s muffled laughter which made her embarrassed, and she patted her blushing cheeks.

How ridiculous. They’ve been married for such a long ti now, yet she was still getting embarrassed over the idea of sharing a bath with Si Chen...

Tong Yao sat in the living room and fanned herself until her face returned to its usual fair complexion. A cat owed outside the window, and she looked up to see a tri-colored cat jumping in from the window.

Tong Yao waved at it, "Co and have so dried fish."

The cat jumped onto the television and sat arrogantly, like an imperious figure. "A woman nad Lin Man, she visited Dr. Si today at the hospital. She ntioned that he had saved her life and even protected her from falling stones. Their past relationship seed very intimate. It’s possible that she’s his ex-girlfriend and they could potentially rekindle their romance. You should be careful."

Ever since Tong Yao moved into the housing complex, the cat’s life had improved drastically. Given that Tong Yao was the only human who understood its language, it was particularly worried about her being replaced.

Holding a towel in his hand, he asked softly, "What’s wrong?"

"Who did you et today?" Tong Yao asked huffily.

Si Chen thought for a while before understanding why Tong Yao was upset. He gave her a gentle smile, "Are you angry about the Lin Man incident?"

Lin Man’s visit to the hospital was quite noticeable today. Many people saw her and it wasn’t surprising that word of it had reached Tong Yao’s ears. He wasn’t suspecting anything more.

"And you’re still laughing." Tong Yao puffed up her cheeks, "Lin Man is a nurse at the third hospital. I suppose she found out that you work here from Xiaohui, she probably knows that you’re her cousin’s husband as well, right? Yet, she still dares to seek you out, this shows her intentions very clearly."
