Chapter 157: Chapter 157: I Want to Change Clothes

Did you buy him so clothes?

A wave of relief washed over Si Chen, as though a child hearing they were getting candy. A small smile even graced the corners of his mouth."

After the two finished eating, Tong Yao eagerly pulled out the clothes for Si Chen to try on. "It’s my first ti buying clothes for a man. I don’t know if you’ll like them or if they’ll fit." In Tong Yao’s mind, buying clothes for Boyi didn’t count, since all she did was help with the paynt.

Si Chen took the clothes and responded sincerely: "I like them."

Tong Yao chuckled quietly, "You like them without even looking?"

Saying nothing, Si Chen got ready to change, only to see Tong Yao looking at him unabashedly. Clearing his throat, he raised an eyebrow, hinting to her, "I’m going to change."

"I know. Go ahead and change." Tong Yao stifled a laugh, acting coolly indifferent. "We’re a married couple. Surely, you won’t feel uncomfortable changing in front of ?"

She refused to believe that she wouldn’t be able to woo Si Chen, considering she was a woman from the twenty-first century who had watched nurous idol dramas and possessed excellent flirting techniques. Even if Si Chen were an iron tree, she was determined to make him bloom.

"Are you really going to watch

change?"

Si Chen let out a soft laugh, which sohow made the confident Tong Yao feel rather shy, although she defiantly nodded.

"Go ahead and change. It’s hot outside, so I’ll just stay here and enjoy the fan." As she said this, she pulled out a chair to sit on, never taking her eyes off Si Chen.

He had a great body. The last ti she had seen it, she hadn’t gotten enough. The mory still lingered.

Si Chen saw her complacent gaze and smiled again. Without any hesitation, he actually undressed in front of Tong Yao. His sturdy arm appeared before her eyes, causing her breath to hitch.

Oh boy, this was exactly the body type she liked in a man. Broad shoulders, slim waist, powerful arms, and not a bit of flab. It was so perfect that she couldn’t find a single fault. Tong Yao swallowed her saliva, the urge to touch his body overwhelming her. His upper body alone looked so perfect, his thighs must be, too. Just as she had this thought, she suddenly felt sothing hot flowing from her nose. Si Chen, who was putting on his clothes, suddenly froze and looked slightly odd.

Seeing him staring at her motionless, Tong Yao asked in confusion, "What’s wrong?" At the sa ti, she touched her nose and felt sothing sticky on her hand. She looked down and almost jumped out of her seat.

"I...I have a nosebleed..."

Having a nosebleed wasn’t shaful by itself. What was shaful was having a nosebleed while watching Si Chen change his clothes.

Oh lord!

She was too ashad to be seen.

"Don’t move your hand around." Si Chen quickly put his clothes on, picked up a tissue, and helped Tong Yao stop the bleeding. Luckily, her nose was not bleeding too much, and it was easily stopped. Then he gently wiped the blood from her hand with the tissue.

The previously flirtatious atmosphere dissipated, replaced by a cloud of embarrassnt. Tong Yao was so mortified she wished she could just disappear. She avoided looking at Si Chen and rack her brain for a reasonable explanation. She said, trying to sound nonchalant,

"It must be...because of the hot weather and eating too much spicy food, which caused internal heat, I’m fine. Don’t worry too much about it."

"Hmm," Si Chen responded, nodding seriously but unable to hide the amusent in his eyes. He said, "Tomorrow, I will buy so dicine for you to reduce the internal heat."

Tong Yao: I don’t need any heat-clearing dicine.

She diverted the subject, mimicking Si Chen’s serious deanor,"Those clothes look good on you. Wash them tonight, you can wear them the day after tomorrow when we go to Kyoto."

"Hmm." Si Chen nodded lightly and led her to the kitchen to wash their hands. This ti, Tong Yao followed quietly, causing no fuss.

Li iyu brought a lunch box into the kitchen and saw Si Chen helping Tong Yao wash her hands. She sneered at Si Chen,

"A grown woman still needs help washing her hands. Anyone would think you’d married a giant baby."

This term has recently beco popular, and it fits Tong Yao perfectly. Li iyu couldn’t think of any other word that would have described Tong Yao so accurately if this term hadn’t beco popular.

Si Chen’s beautiful eyebrows furrowed, his voice becoming a little frosty," She’s my wife who I married honorably. As long as she’s not causing harm to society, what’s wrong with indulging her a little?"

This left Li iyu speechless. She registered what he ant, twistedly angry she stomped her foot, not even washing the lunch box, and angrily turned to the room.

Tong Yao was initially puzzled about why Li iyu was so angry. But when she thought about it, she understood. Liu Haisheng had divorced before marrying Li iyu. Although he had married Li iyu honorably, and their wedding was even better than his first, she was still Liu Haisheng’s second wife.

Si Chen’s double entendre hit right at her sore spot. Li iyu would be strange if she weren’t angry. Right now, she must be going to fight with her husband in their room.

One had to admit that although Si Chen appeared harmless, when he actually started arguing with soone, his verbal skill is not inferior to hers.

Li iyu suffered a great loss, gritting her teeth in anger. The only thing she wasn’t satisfied with in her marriage was this. Marrying Liu Haisheng was good, except for the fact that Liu Haisheng had divorced before. Being as proud as she was, how could she stand others pointing out her shortcomings?

She slamd the lunchbox on the table and burst into tears on the bed. Right at this mont, Liu Haisheng who had finished bathing, was confused. He went to the bed and picked up his wife, asking, "Why are you crying all of a sudden? Who provoked you?"

"Who do you think has annoyed ?" Li iyu cried harder when she saw Liu Haisheng and sobbed as she complained, "Would I be disrespected by others if it weren’t for

marrying you, you old divorced man? If I knew it would be like this, I wouldn’t have married you even if you knelt and asked initally."

"Who’s talking nonsense about you again?" Liu Haisheng got a hint from Li iyu’s words and beca a little irked. He knew that his wife offended people and got retorted when she was disrespecting soone with the fact that they remarried.

"Who else could it be except the couple next door?" Li iyu yelled angrily, "I just went to wash the lunch box, and those two were being all lovey-dovey at the stove like they hadn’t seen each other in hundreds of years. I made a casual comnt, and doctor Si said that Tong Yao was married upright and should be spoiled. Isn’t this indirectly saying that I am your second wife, disdaining ?"

The more Li iyu talked about it, the angrier she beca, and she started beating Liu Haisheng’s chest with her small fists, "All because of you! If you were a bit more capable, would I be bullied like this?"

Hearing that it was Si Chen who had spoken those words, Liu Haisheng’s face turned dark in an instant. He impatiently grabbed Li iyu’s hand, "Stop making a scene, they probably didn’t an it that way, you’re just overthinking it."

Their wife was jealous of Tong Yao, probably said sothing in their presence, and ended up getting refuted.
