Zuo Qing froze slightly, gazing at the man in front of her. Her rosy red lips parted slightly, a startled expression on her face.
"If not , who else did you think it was?" he asked with a smile.
Zuo Qing frowned and pushed him away, "That joke wasn’t funny."
Ye Shaoting raised both hands in mock surrender, but leaned closer to her, "Then I’m wrong, won’t you forgive ?"
This person seed to suddenly beco unserious. Despite admitting his mistake, he deliberately winked at her, causing Zuo Qing to burst into light laughter, "Just this once."
Ye Shaoting smiled, "Of course."
Just as he imagined, so easygoing.
Tsk, a personality like this is easily bullied.
"Out shopping for clothes?" Ye Shaoting shook the bags in his hands, having just glimpsed their contents.
"Mm, buying clothes for you."
Ye Shaoting paused in his steps, looking back in surprise at the woman beside him.

"Yes." Zuo Qing nodded, walking alongside him, "Thank you for learning to cook for the other day."
The distance between them was minimal, and Ye Shaoting couldn’t help but get lost in thought while looking at her. The wind blew through her fine, soft hair, revealing her fair and spotless profile.
This girl was so pure from the inside out that he couldn’t bear to taint her.

He thought Zuo Qing would surely get shy or bluntly reject him.

Ye Shaoting stared at her dumbfounded, the bags in his hand dropping to the ground with a "thud," and he swallowed hard.

His clueless response was not quite what Zuo Qing had expected. She thought for sure that he’d show a triumphant grin and then tease her a bit.
Such a silly expression, it really seed like he was telling the truth about having no romantic history.
Zuo Qing laughed, the arc of her lips rising further, her stunningly elegant smile barging into Ye Shaoting’s eagerly beating heart.
He heard her say softly, "I have seriously thought about it; marriage is not a ga. Although our union was indeed a bit of a joke, since we are already married, I want to learn to adapt to this relationship."
