Du Juan is a rather arrogant girl who loves being surrounded by everyone, always feeling like the center of attention.

But as long as Niannian and Sisi, the two sisters, are around, everyone’s attention is always on them.

Although she has to admit, these two sisters are indeed excessively beautiful, she just isn’t happy, always hoping for sothing to bring them down a notch.

After just a week of being around them, she hasn’t yet thought of a way to do so.

Now seeing Niannian not waiting for everyone and being the first to reach out her chopsticks to grab the food, Du Juan’s mind imdiately beca active.

The light in her eyes was even more intense than the light from the sun, like a green wolf glare.

From observing their clothing, although Niannian and Sisi are low-key, their distinctive attire still made Du Juan feel that these two are from reasonably well-off families.

They don’t seem like they co from the countryside, which leaves her without any ideas on how to bring them down.

Who would’ve thought, really, who would’ve thought, Niannian turned out to be so inexperienced, even more so than those classmates appearing to be from poorer families.

The mont the good dishes arrived, she couldn’t wait, clearly never been to such a nice restaurant before.

Other than Du Juan, no one paid much attention to this issue, and once soone used their chopsticks, the rest naturally followed.

Everyone was busy eating.

Niannian took a few bites, her expression changing slightly, the taste was indeed that of crispy chicken.

How could it be, could soone have secretly learned her crispy chicken recipe?

It’s not out of the question, after all, her restaurant has been open for so ti now.

But why did this crispy chicken taste so close?

It was exactly like it was made from her recipe.

Yet all her recipes are confidential; all the chefs she hired have signed confidentiality agreents with her, so they couldn’t possibly have leaked them.

Could it be there truly was a traitor?

As Niannian frowned in deep thought, Du Juan’s voice, quite gleeful, rang in her ears.

"How is it, good, right?"

Niannian looked up at her, still frowning.

Du Juan, surprised that the expression wasn’t what she expected, said, "Hey, why do you have that look, is it bad? No way, this was sothing I specially had ordered from Xu’s Restaurant ahead of ti."

"Xu’s Restaurant?" Upon hearing this, Niannian’s tightly knitted brows imdiately relaxed; so it was reserved from her restaurant.

ntioning Xu’s Restaurant made Du Juan even more proud.

"I heard you’re also a Jingdu Resident, how about it, have you heard of Xu’s Restaurant? It’s the most famous restaurant in all of Jingdu, their tables are hard to co by, and their signature dishes are even harder to get. If it weren’t for my dad knowing the owner of Xu’s Restaurant, I wouldn’t be able to order so many signature dishes all at once."

Niannian: "..."

How co she didn’t know she knew so old dude with the surna Du from Jingdu?

Beside her, Sisi listened, eyes wide open, so it was from her sister’s restaurant.

If they’re going to eat, they must eat more.

Sisi ignored what Du Juan and Niannian were talking about, her chopsticks quickly reaching into the crispy chicken dish.

She even reminded Yang Chunhua and Yu Qianqian to eat more.

Each dish from Xu’s Restaurant is a rare delicacy, even though they’re expensive, business remains booming.

Sadly, getting a table is near impossible; without a reservation, there’s no spot, and reservations have to be made at least half a month in advance.

It’s only because Du Juan’s father knows the managent at Xu’s Restaurant that she gets this privilege.

Seeing this was a rare chance to show off, Du Juan spoke loudly enough for everyone at the table to hear.

So other local Jingdu students exaggeratedly said, "No way, you actually managed to order so many signature dishes from Xu’s Restaurant? I’ve heard they’re limited daily, and even for reservations, you have to line up at least half a month in advance. We’ve only been back to school for less than a week; when did you make the reservations?"

Seeing soone chi in, Du Juan was especially pleased: "Of course, I’m different from others; my dad and the Xu’s owner are good friends."

Niannian: "..."

She’s not, she didn’t, stop making things up, she doesn’t even know when she beca friends with any such old man.

Sisi was amused to the point of choking on her food by Du Juan’s words.

The guy who asked Du Juan appeared quite impressed, while other non-local students were completely confused.

Soone directly asked, "Is Xu’s Restaurant really that good?"

The guy who spoke to Du Juan imdiately started to explain: "Have you heard of Xu’s Liuyue Su?"

Xu’s Liuyue Su’s chain has opened all over the country, even in the north where there are no agents, people have started taking long-distance buses to the factory to place orders.

So as soon as Xu’s Liuyue Su was ntioned, everyone imdiately understood.

"Could it be that Xu’s Restaurant and Xu’s Liuyue Su are run by the sa owner?"

The guy who provided the explanation laughed: "It’s the sa person. Her family’s restaurant is hard to get into, and each dish inside sells for astronomical prices; it’s not affordable for the average person."

So that’s the case, astronomical prices indeed!

Seeing Du Juan buying so many at one go, everyone looked at her with admiration, but couldn’t help feeling envious—her family must be really wealthy.

Seeing her classmates all looking at her with envy, Du Juan proudly lifted her chin.

The class looked at the dish that didn’t have much left and all reached out their chopsticks.

Niannian really wanted to know when her dishes started being sold for astronomical prices.
