Early the next morning, Elder Master Jin woke up early, even earlier than Niannian and Sisi.

He specially asked Nanny Zhao to get up and make soup for Niannian and Sisi, to cheer them on.

The old master’s mood was good; both granddaughters of the Xu Family were his grandson’s wives.

"Little Zhao, add more tonic to supplent the kids’ brains, and also make a fish head soup, eating fish head makes you smart."

The old master didn’t understand much of this, only knowing that his mother said the sa when he was a child, claiming fish head made you smart, so he followed suit.

Nanny Zhao listened to the master’s orders and imdiately started making the soup.

The old master went back to sleep for a nap.

Nanny Zhao cooked the soup for two hours. Although her cooking skill wasn’t as good as Niannian’s, having cooked for over ten years, Nanny Zhao’s culinary skills weren’t too shabby, and the soup was fresh and flavorful.

The foodie Xu Qiang got up when he slled the aroma, ran to the kitchen without washing his face or brushing his teeth to drink the soup.

Nanny Zhao, seeing him co, asked him to watch over the soup while she had to step out for a bit.

Xu Qiang was happy to oblige, but Nanny Zhao worried he’d eat too much, reminded him: "Xu Qiang, young master, you can’t drink it all, it’s prepared by the master for our two examinees to nourish their brains."

There were only two examinees at ho, Niannian and Sisi.

Although Sisi hadn’t married Jin Ruiyang yet, the marriage was set, and in the eyes of the Jin family mbers, Sisi was also a part of the Jin family.

Xu Qiang responded casually while drinking the soup: "Sure thing, Nanny Zhao, you go ahead, I’ve got this, don’t worry, I’ll just drink a little, such a big pot, I can’t finish it alone."

Nanny Zhao smiled and walked away.

Jin Ruibing ca downstairs wearing slippers, producing "pat-pat" sounds, slled the aroma, and rubbed his nose: "Who’s making soup here?"

He followed the scent to the kitchen.

Seeing Xu Qiang drinking the soup in big gulps, he rolled his eyes speechlessly: "Turns out it’s you."

"What’s the matter, disturbing your view?"

Xu Qiang and Jin Ruibing had a grudge recently, over the past few months Jin Ruibing dated several people, one of whom happened to be a girl Xu Qiang had taken a liking to.

Xu Qiang was disheartened; he knew Jin Ruibing was a typical playboy.

Yet he didn’t want to tell Jin Ruibing he liked the girl, thinking it’d be embarrassing.

So Xu Qiang secretly went to the girl and told her that Jin Ruibing was a heartless playboy, advising her to break up with him lest she gets hurt later.

Unfortunately, Jin Ruibing overheard their conversation.

Jin Ruibing wasn’t fond of the girl; she pursued him, and after a while, he agreed to date her.

Unexpectedly, he overheard his cousin speaking badly about him to the girl.

Jin Ruibing was furious and couldn’t help but fight Xu Qiang.

Xu Qiang stubbornly refused to explain himself, making Jin Ruibing even angrier, but it was Xu Qiang who was at fault, yet he spoke even more sarcastically than Jin Ruibing.

"Move aside, I want so soup." Jin Ruibing impatiently pushed Xu Qiang aside.

Xu Qiang let out a "hey," spread his arms to block him: "What do you an, this is mine."

"Oh, I didn’t know you can make soup?" Jin Ruibing said sarcastically.

"What’s it to you? I asked Nanny Zhao to make the soup for , is that a problem? Anyway, it’s mine, you’re not allowed to drink it, make your own if you want."

"Fine, I won’t drink it, okay?" Jin Ruibing said irritably.

Xu Qiang guarded the pot, waiting for Jin Ruibing to leave, then sneered, put down the bowl, and ran to the bathroom.

Xu Qiang had just entered the bathroom when Jin Ruibing, originally having gone upstairs, ca down again with a small white bottle, saw Xu Qiang wasn’t in the kitchen, then smirked mischievously.

"Little rascal, I’ll teach you a lesson."
