“I’m not hiding anything.” Xu Niannian pushed him away and walked straight to the bed to sit down, her little face tensely set.
She was trying hard to suppress her anger, so as not to co off like a shrew.
If it weren’t for the occasion, Jin Yu would have laughed out loud.
Realizing that sothing had upset her, Jin Yu quickly followed and knelt in front of Xu Niannian.
“Who made you unhappy?”
He grabbed Xu Niannian’s hand and held it tight, she tugged at it, but couldn’t pull it away.
“Don’t worry about , just let be for a while,” she said.
After thinking it over, Xu Niannian felt she shouldn’t vent her anger at Jin Yu, after all, he hadn’t done anything.
“You’re my wife, who else should I care about if not you?”
Holding her soft little hand, Jin Yu gently squeezed the back of her hand and placed it against his face.
Jin Yu hadn’t shaved, and Xu Niannian felt his stubble prick her.
The older man had been yelled at by her in front of so many people, and not only did he not get angry, but also wooed her with kind words; Xu Niannian, despite being dramatic, couldn’t bear to put on an act with him anymore.

Jin Yu pinched her nose, his well-defined, handso face breaking into a smile. He rose to his feet, embraced her, and with a flip, seated her on his lap.
“If it really was nothing, would you co rushing to so angrily?”
“Can’t I co to find you? Who do you want to co to you then?”
Xu Niannian was now like a firecracker, set off by a single spark. She had just told herself not to lash out at Jin Yu, but in the next second, she was instantly provoked by his words.
Xu Niannian, bewitching and alluring, had captured Jin Yu with her face at first sight, it was love at first sight – only he had been unwilling to admit it then.
When she got angry, she wasn’t at all intimidating; instead, to Jin Yu, it felt like she was charmingly pouting.
Jin Yu couldn’t help it and laughed, his chin resting on her shoulder as his body shook.

Her cheeks were puffed up with anger, making her resemble a little hamster with its cheeks full of food.
Jin Yu knew well how to deal with Xu Niannian’s temper – she needed to be coaxed when angry.

He thought admitting his fault would surely not anger her.

“Niannian!”
His voice grew heavy as well.
Xu Niannian knew she was being unreasonable, but she just couldn’t control her temper. Seeing him getting angry with her, she imdiately felt aggrieved, and tears fell from her eyes without warning.
As she cried, she pounded on Jin Yu with her fists: “You’re scolding , you actually scold , you promised to be good to for a lifeti.”
Jin Yu pursed his lips, as Xu Niannian cried uncontrollably. His face turned a terrifying shade of dark, and Xu Niannian got up to run, not wanting to see his angry expression.
“What happened?”
Jin Yu grabbed her hand, pulled her back into his embrace, and his face was now devoid of smiles: “Don’t hide it from . Tell , what happened?”
Xu Niannian pursed her lips and said nothing, her head hanging low.
