BOOM!
A fireball the size of a house exploded against the wall, sending flas roaring through the chamber.
Before Wang Li could even process what was happening, a sword of pure ice slashed toward his neck. He barely managed to roll off the bed, hitting the ground with a painful thud.
"Wait! Wait! We can talk about this!" he scread.
His plea was completely ignored.
Li Qingyun, her crimson dress burning with phoenix flas, advanced with a fury that could lt mountains. Her golden eyes flashed with betrayal and rage.
"You have five seconds to explain before I turn you into ashes!" she roared.
At the sa ti, Mu Yuechan, the icy beauty of the Frozen Lotus Sect, lifted her delicate fingers. Frost coiled around them, forming a hundred floating ice swords that hovered ominously in the air.
"Four seconds," she said, her voice as cold as the tundra.
Zhao Lingxi, the seductive but terrifying demoness of the Hundred Night Sect, chuckled darkly. She leaned casually against the wall, flipping a dagger between her fingers.
"Ladies, let's not rush things," she purred. "It'd be a sha if he died too quickly."
"Three seconds."
Princess Bai Lianhua, the imperial princess of the Heavenly Jade Empire, rely crossed her arms, her royal robes shimring under the light of the burning chamber.
"I hope you're not expecting a pardon," she said icily.
Wang Li's mind raced.
This was bad.
Very bad.
He was unard. Unprepared. And most importantly—he had zero experience fighting in this world!
Sure, his new body was technically that of a genius cultivator, but the original Wang Tian was an arrogant playboy who barely trained. All of his skills had been boosted by lucky encounters, divine pills, and favoritism from elders.
If he actually tried to fight back... he'd die instantly.
"Two seconds."
Think, Wang Li, think!
There was only one possible solution.
A technique more powerful than any sword art. More effective than any ancient cultivation technique.
He took a deep breath—
And imdiately dropped to his knees in a perfect kowtow.
"I WAS WRONG! I WAS AN IDIOT! FORGIVE !"
The entire room froze.
The won stared at him.
Even the fire from Li Qingyun's phoenix flas flickered uncertainly.
No one had expected the legendary Wang Tian, the arrogant genius known for ghosting won and escaping responsibility, to suddenly beg for rcy.
For a mont, there was silence.
Then—
Zhao Lingxi burst into laughter.
"Oh, this is precious," she giggled, wiping a tear from her eye. "The great Wang Tian, reduced to groveling? I should've brought a painting scroll for this mont."
Li Qingyun, however, was less amused. She cracked her knuckles ominously.
"Nice try," she growled. "But do you really think one apology is enough?"
"Not just one apology!" Wang Li slamd his head to the ground again, making a loud thud. "A thousand apologies! A million! My past self was blind, foolish, and unworthy of your greatness! If I could turn back ti, I would devote myself to each of you without hesitation!"
Mu Yuechan narrowed her eyes. "A convenient lie."
Bai Lianhua sighed, rubbing her temples. "Your words are aningless. Do you take us for fools?"
Wang Li broke out in cold sweat.
They weren't buying it.
I need sothing stronger!
Suddenly, inspiration struck.
He lifted his head, looking directly at them with sincere eyes.
"Then let prove it," he declared. "I, Wang Tian, swear an oath upon the heavens—from this mont on, I will dedicate myself to making ands! I will prove that I am worthy of your forgiveness!"
The room shook.
Thunder rumbled in the distance.
A faint golden light flickered in the air.
The won's expressions changed instantly.
Because in this world, an oath upon the heavens wasn't sothing to be taken lightly.
If a cultivator broke such an oath, they would be struck by divine lightning, their cultivation crippled for eternity.
For the first ti, Li Qingyun hesitated.
"...Hmph." She crossed her arms. "Fine. If you break your word, I'll burn you to ashes myself."
Mu Yuechan sighed, but sheathed her sword. "We shall see if your actions match your words."
Zhao Lingxi grinned. "Oh, this will be fun."
Bai Lianhua simply gave a royal nod.
"...Very well. But you will not escape our watchful eyes, Wang Tian."
Wang Li exhaled, barely suppressing the urge to collapse in relief.
He had survived.
Barely.
But now... he had an even bigger problem.
He had just sworn an oath to make ands to all of them.
And knowing these won...
They would absolutely take full advantage of that.
