"This is… I see! So this was their intention all along!"

Soone suddenly exclaid in realization, their eyes lighting up as they grasped the Marine's true intentions.

"It's a clever sche. With this, the Marines are completely safe!"

"With Garp's involvent, the Ninja Pirate crew is in deep trouble now. Their chances of victory have drastically plumted. They might lose this war entirely."

"After all, we're talking about Vice Admiral Garp, the man who chased the Pirate King Roger all over the world!"

At this mont, the intense battle on Post Island raged on. Given its intensity, it was unlikely to end within two or three days.

High in the sky floated an enormous azure dragon, Kaido.

His body stretched dozens of feet, and every breath he unleashed scorched the battlefield below with devastating dragon flas. Ordinary people had no chance of survival.

In such chaotic battles, large-scale attacks easily hard allies.

But Kaido had descended into madness.

Friend or foe, it mattered not to him anymore, he struck down anyone in his sight.

Even if they belonged to the Avengers, they weren't his n anyway!

Faced with Kaido's rampage, neither the Shinobi Nation nor the Alliance had any effective counterasures.

Even Ranzuki felt powerless.

Yet this did not an Ranzuki lacked ways to hinder Kaido entirely.

His Hydrification Technique could create a massive water giant, though this required either direct proximity to the sea or an abundant water source.

Fortunately, Ranzuki could water release to form such constructs effortlessly.

But Ranzuki didn't bother to act yet.

Kaido's dragon breath attacks might be fierce, but mbers of the Shinobi Nation had reflexes far beyond ordinary humans, thanks to their rigorous shinobi training and natural abilities.

As long as there were no significant casualties among his fellow shinobi, Ranzuki couldn't care less how many people from this native world died.

In his eyes, the fewer survivors from this native world, the better.

He believed the ideal scenario was for all the locals here to perish.

Then, the Shinobi Nation could claim this world and its resources without any interference.

However, he couldn't let Kaido continue this rampage unchecked.

After all, he still relied on these people to defend their base and guard the Teleportation Array.

They couldn't afford to lose this war.

"Just a little longer; I'll let you revel in your arrogance for a while," Ranzuki muttered to himself, slaying a nearby pirate.

The battlefield had beco a veritable Hell, where slaughter and death reigned supre.

The earth was drenched in blood, the soil stained crimson. The pungent tallic scent didn't cause discomfort but instead fueled a frenzied madness.

Countless lives had been lost; the eye could see nothing but corpses.

Bodies strewn across the battlefield, a grueso tableau of carnage.

Faces contorted in hideous expressions, eyes bloodshot, people roared and scread, attacking any enemy in sight with savage abandon.

Reason had deserted them.

Only one thought remained in their mind: kill.

Boom! Boom! Boom!!

Resounding explosions echoed across the battlefield, originating from the clash between Whitebeard and Konan.

They fought at the very center, creating a vast, empty circle around them.

Even amidst the life-or-death struggle, no one dared approach that area.

For fear of being caught in the devastating shockwaves.

In that section of the battlefield, the earth had been churned up countless tis, crisscrossed with cracks and pockmarked with deep craters, all pointing out the ferocity and intensity of the fight.

After all, it was Whitebeard, wielder of the Gura Gura no Mi, said to possess the most destructive power.

And Konan, whose attacks were now equally devastating Sage Jutsu.

Their overall strength was comparable.

Whitebeard possessed overwhelming force, while Konan's diverse techniques dazzled the eye.

This gave everyone a clear understanding of just how formidable Konan was.

The individual with the current highest bounty indeed possessed the strength to justify it.

After another exchange, Konan hovered in the sky, gazing down at Whitebeard with a headache.

This guy was stronger than she had anticipated.

She had thought that after advancing to Fifth-Tier Sage, she would be able to sweep the entire battlefield.

She hadn't expected Whitebeard to be able to keep her entangled, nor that she would be unable to defeat him.

Glancing around, Konan's heart sank.

The Sage Shinobi Nation held no advantage in this war as both sides were locked in a stalemate.

"It seems we won't be able to win this war without dealing with you first," Konan declared, preparing to use her last resort.

"..You think likes of you have the ans to deal with ?" Whitebeard retorted, launching a fist towards the sky.

Terrifying tremors surged towards Konan, seemingly distorting even space itself.

Facing such an attack, Konan swiftly moved her body, narrowly avoiding it.

Simultaneously, countless paper sheets shot out from her wings, assaulting Whitebeard like a barrage of arrows.

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom!

As the paper reached Whitebeard, they detonated; they were all explosive tags.

This was one of Konan's main attack thods, combining her Paper Ninjutsu with explosive tags to create unique explosions.

These explosions were undoubtedly fatal to ordinary pirates.

The imnse concussive force could relentlessly tear apart their bodies.

But to Whitebeard, these explosions seed rather insignificant.

After all, he had coated his entire body in Armant Haki, forming an impenetrable armor.

"Is that all you've got? If so, then this fight is as good as over!" Whitebeard erged from the explosions, his bisento slashing down fiercely at Konan.

However, Konan was too fast.

She had already moved before his blade could reach her.

"Your greatest ability is running away, isn't it?" Whitebeard taunted, though inwardly, he was also frustrated.

Her reaction and movent speeds were too fast.

Even with his highly developed Observation Haki, it was difficult to lock onto her.

Because this woman also possessed powerful Observation Haki.

Compared to his, it might be slightly inferior, but her innate reaction and speed more than compensated for the difference.

Konan remained unfazed by his words.

She continued her silent assault, but as she attacked, she began to subtly alter the battlefield around them.

If her offensive techniques couldn't overco Whitebeard, then she would resort to sealing jutsu.

Konan was proficient in sealing jutsu, possessing skills that had even astonished Hui.

As Konan prepared her trap, Garp and the others drew ever closer…
