Seeing Hui's stunned expression, Sakumo's lips curled into a smile.
He turned to the woman beside him, his gaze gentle as he introduced her.
"Her na is Michiko. She's my wife."
"Hello, Hui-kun. Hello, Lady Tsunade," Michiko greeted warmly, her gaze toward Hui filled with pure and unbridled admiration.
"Hello, Sister-in-law Michiko," Hui and Tsunade replied politely. Internally, however, Hui couldn't help but feel amazed.
Goodness, what a twist.
He hadn't expected it. Sakumo, this seemingly upright fellow, had disappeared for just over a year, only to return not only with a wife but also with a child on the way!
Hui could tell that Michiko would be giving birth soon.

"Hatake Kakashi, huh? Such a fine na." Hui's smile deepened.
Sakumo was montarily stunned, then let out a helpless laugh.
"Hui, you’re ruining the suspense, you know? Now there’s no sense of anticipation left for ."
Realizing he had unintentionally let the secret slip, Hui chuckled. "Well, you'd find out eventually. Might as well know now and be prepared!"
"Huh? Our child is a boy?" Michiko exclaid, only now catching on.
"Yes, our future little rascal will be Hatake Kakashi," Sakumo confird with a smile.
He was fond of both boys and girls, but he couldn't deny his excitent about passing on his Hatake sword techniques and Chidori-style ninjutsu to a son.
"Really? Then let’s start preparing things for Kakashi!" Michiko said excitedly, gently caressing her belly. Her eyes sparkled with maternal love.
Hui, seeing this, decided to hold off on inviting Sakumo and Michiko for a al and a chat. He knew that Michiko's mind was now entirely occupied by thoughts of her unborn child.
"Well, Sakumo, you two go enjoy yourselves. Tonight, co by the Senju compound, and we'll catch up properly," Hui said with a smile.
"Sure thing," Sakumo replied, his lips curving into a knowing smile.
Being one of the people who understood Hui best, he could tell that Hui was dying of curiosity about the story behind him and Michiko. Yet, Hui refrained from asking directly, it was a direct testent to their friendship.
"Then we’ll see you tonight," Sakumo said as he supported Michiko and walked away.
After they left, Hui couldn't help but sigh.
"Unbelievable. So much has happened while I was asleep."
Turning to Tsunade, he asked, "Tsunade, do you know how Sakumo and Michiko ended up together?"
Hui’s curiosity was genuine. How had Sakumo, in just over a year, ended up marrying Uchiha Michiko and even having a child with her?
"This is quite an interesting story," Tsunade began with a smile.
Thanks to Hui, Tsunade and Sakumo had also beco good friends, so she was well aware of the situation. In fact, this story had once been the talk of the higher-ups in Konoha.
"It all started about six months ago, during the eighth month of your slumber. After you fell into your deep sleep, the village returned to a state of stability, with no significant disruptions.
"However, rumors began to circulate across the ninja world about sightings of a Mokuton user. Since the only known Mokuton user, Nawaki, was in Konoha, this made Sakumo suspicious.
"Determined to find out the truth, Sakumo set out alone to investigate.
"According to him, he encountered a mysterious ninja who seed to possess Mokuton abilities. To learn more, Sakumo engaged the ninja in battle.
"But to his surprise, this ninja was incredibly strong—far stronger than him. Sakumo was utterly defeated.
"However, the mysterious ninja didn’t harm Sakumo. After severely injuring him, the ninja simply left.
"On his way back to Konoha, Sakumo encountered Uchiha Michiko, who was on a mission. The two decided to travel together.
“If nothing unexpected occurred they would have returned to Konoha in ti,
“However, an unexpected incident occurred. They encountered Kakuzu, the rogue ninja from Takigakure who had been on Sakumo’s most-wanted list for a long ti.
“Under normal circumstances, Sakumo might have had a chance to take down Kakuzu.
“But he was severely injured at the ti, and Michiko was no match for Kakuzu. The two had no choice but to flee.
“Kakuzu, having been relentlessly hunted by Sakumo for so long, seized the opportunity for revenge and was unwilling to let him escape easily.
“Thus began a deadly chase.
“Sakumo and Michiko, while being pursued, found themselves cornered and forced into a difficult uncharted land.
“The area was filled with dangers—ferocious beasts, poisonous mists, swamps, venomous insects, and other life-threatening hazards. Because of these dangers, Kakuzu gave up the chase and left after two months of failed attempts.
“During those two months, Sakumo and Michiko fell in love and beca a couple. Michiko soon conceived a child. Four months later, the two returned to Konoha together.
“Michiko’s pregnancy almost caused a rift between the Uchiha clan and Sakumo, but the young heir nad Uchiha Fugaku managed to diate the situation and resolve the conflict.
“And that’s the story. Now they’re happily married,” Tsunade concluded.
After hearing the story recounted with dramatic flair, Hui was deeply moved.

"Lord Third?! You’ve returned from your trip?! That’s amazing!"
The shop owner exclaid with joy upon seeing Hui.
To him, Hui was a great benefactor and soone he admired deeply.
“Yes, I’m back. The usual, please,” Hui said with a warm smile.
The shop owner bead at him and replied enthusiastically, “Of course, of course! Please wait a mont!”
With that, the owner hurried away, leaving Hui and Tsunade to settle into their seats as if nothing had happened.
However, Hui’s mind was buzzing.
Uchiha Madara... what’s he doing in Konoha?
Monts earlier, Hui had sensed Madara’s presence.
The legendary Uchiha was sowhere in Konoha’s food street.
