The successful execution of the dal-awarding ceremony ignited the passion of Konoha's shinobi once again.
This fervor turned into motivation for their training, causing Konoha's training grounds to be packed every day and the surrounding forests teeming with activity.
Under normal circumstances, such enthusiasm would also translate into mission execution.
However, during this period, missions were scarce and fiercely competitive—shinobi wanted to take on assignnts but often had no opportunity.
Hui, however, had no such concerns about missions or achievents. His contributions were the most notable in all of Konoha, and he could exchange them for anything. For instance, the Book of Seals, which had been thoroughly studied by Hui, was now more of a repository where he contributed new jutsu rather than learned from.
Having mastered nearly all the jutsu in the book—except for the Flying Thunder God Technique due to his lack of spatial aptitude—Hui had pushed his capabilities to their zenith. He mastered even the Eight Gates Formation.
This technique was exceedingly powerful—arguably one of the strongest in the Naruto world.
After all, it allowed ordinary mortals to rival deities, such as the Sage of Six Paths. Might Duy had famously used it to reduce the Seven Ninja Swordsn of the Mist to only three survivors.
Might Guy even landed a devastating blow on Madara Uchiha during his Sage of Six Paths form, nearly concluding the conflict.
But the Eight Gates Formation ca at a steep cost. Might Duy perished, and Might Guy would have died as well if not for Naruto's intervention. The toll it exacted made it nearly unbearable for most.
The training process for this technique was equally harrowing, requiring imnse perseverance and extended periods of discipline.
For Hui, however, these were negligible. His unique and powerful physique allowed him to open the Seventh Gate early on, rendering the side effects almost inconsequential unless the Dead Gate was activated.
Even with the Seventh Gate opened, the enhancent Hui received was not as overwhelming as it was for ordinary shinobi. His transford body already exceeded conventional limits.
Consequently, the opening of the Eight Gates could no longer exponentially magnify his strength as it would for others. Opening the Seventh Gate only doubled his single-target attack power, which still fell short of Sage of Six Paths levels.
As for fully activating the Eight Gates, Hui hadn't even considered it.
While his body was far from ordinary, he wasn't eager to test if he would die rom opening the Death Gate. For him, the Eight Gates Formation was more of an ace card than a defining power.
Beyond the Eight Gates, Hui also studied another technique he'd long been curious about—the Spirit Transformation Technique.
Created by Tobirama Senju, this jutsu enabled the user's spirit to beco a living soul, bypassing physical barriers, manipulating others' bodies, and even delving into their ntal worlds.
In the original series, Tobirama had demonstrated a similar technique by montarily halting Sasuke Uchiha's death, offering instructions that helped Kabuto Yakushi revive him.
This technique was also notable for granting the user immunity to physical attacks and enabling them to ntally devastate their opponents or possess allies to enhance coordination.
However, despite its interesting nature and Hui's initial enthusiasm, the Spirit Transformation Technique left him sowhat disappointed.
While it offered unique advantages, its direct applications were limited, especially against high-caliber opponents who could counter or neutralize its effects.
Nevertheless, Hui's fascination with the jutsu stemd from its connection to the soul, which was a mysterious concept in the Naruto world.
From the reaper summoned by the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to the deity worshipped by Hidan's cult, these two being were quite mysterious.
And they were the things the original series had addressed, who knew if there were other beings of similar prowess in the shionbi world.
With such enigmas lingering, Hui realized that true invincibility in the ninja world required far more than re skill.
His journey was far from over.
His current title was "Demi-God of the Shinobi World" not the "God of Shinobi," He would need an overwhelming reserve of chakra and a technique as grand as the Susanoo or the Thousand-Ard Buddha, to truely beco one.
Fortunately, Hui's energy reserves were growing daily. At this rate, he estimated it would take just a few years to rival the chakra levels of a tailed beast. Then he could call himself the god of the shinobi world.
In ti, he would ascend to the Six Paths level, a goal that ordinary shinobi could only dream of achieving through becoming the Ten-Tails' jinchuriki or inheriting the Sage’s power.
Hui, however, had found another path: his body’s evolution.
Though the journey might take a decade or more, Hui was assured of success. With his seemingly eternal vitality, ti was on his side.
The major shinobi villages clung to the hope that they could develop their own "God of Shinobi" within fifteen years to counter Hui.
However, they grossly underestimated his trajectory.
By the ti fifteen years had passed, Hui wouldn’t just be a god among shinobi—he would be untouchable, standing unchallenged even if every village produced a god of their own.
Hui’s confidence was unshaken, though he remained wary of figures like Zetsu, the reclusive Madara, and the enigmatic Otsutsuki, who were still wildcards that could impact his loved ones.
He wasn’t afraid of them targetting him, but what he was afraid was them targeting his loved ones.
“Let’s hope they behave themselves and let finish growing in peace,” Hui mused, sighing deeply.
He dismissed his worries. What mattered was to continue his self-improvent, ensuring that no sche or enemy could stop him. Victory, after all, would belong to the strong.
