"What’s different about it!"
Koga Shoji fell into a monologue.
The lined-up club mbers glanced at the plate of Mapo Tofu on the table and then at the other ten dishes on another table that had hardly been touched, their Adam’s apples moving hard!
It was different!
It wasn’t just the scent that seed to trap everyone like a giant net, even the color and temperant of the dish had evolved and changed!
It made sense, though.
After all, the previous ten dishes were cooked by the junior club mbers, but the Mapo Tofu before them now shone with color, aroma, and taste, a treasure created by Koga Shoji himself.
In simple terms, the dish had been endowed with a chef’s unique traits.
The crowd gathered around in unison.
"How could this be!" Xingping Chuangzhen’s face changed dramatically, "Aside from the addition of a spoonful or two of cooking wine and a broth mixed with water that’s less rich, the other ingredients haven’t changed much, but the whole dish is sohow different!"
With trembling hands, he used a spoon to scoop up a few pieces of red tofu and the steaming thick sauce and swallowed it all.

Instantaneously, his tongue felt as though it were pressed against a scalding copper pillar, and just when Xingping Chuangzhen was about to let out an unsuspecting scream, whoosh, the copper pillar lted into water, tightly wrapping around his tongue.
His tongue was enveloped, pressured, by the hot and spicy liquid.
It was as if his tongue had entered a mysterious corridor.
In that mont, Xingping Chuangzhen saw layers upon layers of peaks; his tongue rolled and swept among them, experiencing a turbulent and exquisite taste sensation!

Sweat gathered under his jaw to form droplets, constantly falling to the ground.
Propping his hands on the dining table, and with just one spoonful, Xingping Chuangzhen swallowed and gasped heavily, his face experiencing palpitations, his eyes showing fear.
"This, this overwhelming flavor!"
