"Greyson. Don’t fail this ti," George pleaded with his friend after they reached the hospital. Greyson placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a slight squeeze, "Don’t worry. Last ti it was about my daughter. But this ti there won’t be any mistakes."
Then his eyes shifted to Mariana and Ruby. Mariana looked deathly pale; however, Ruby looked casual about it.
Too casual.
Greyson gave them a calm look, "Don’t worry. I’ll protect him with my life. I made a blunder last ti, but not this ti."
Ruby wanted to yawn. She knew Greyson wouldn’t fail them this ti. In her past life, he helped them, and they successfully kept George hidden, away from everyone’s eyes.
Papa even helped them to plan Sienna’s murder. He was the one who suggested killing Sienna during pregnancy, but then the bitch went into early labor, and there was a change of plans.
Mariana clutched George’s arm tightly, "Are you sure this will work?" Ruby wanted to roll her eyes.
Poor mom! She knew nothing.
Greyson answered Mariana, "Don’t worry, Mrs. Mason. I’ll inject him with dicine. It will not only slow his internal organs but will also keep him unconscious for more than twenty-four hours."
"What if soone checks him properly?" Mariana spoke again. Last ti, this question was asked by Ruby.
But no one suspected a thing. Sienna was so heartbroken at the loss of their father that she stopped eating anything and stayed like this for three days.
"They won’t," Dr. Greyson didn’t lose his cool, "I’ll try my best to switch the body asap," he looked around and explained in a lower voice, "The funeral will happen normally. Everyone will believe George Mason is dead."
Greyson looked at George again, "Once everything is settled, I’ll arrange for him to be moved safely to the village."
There was relief on George’s face. He was ready to go through it to stay safe from Tom.
"What if Tom decides to see him?" Ruby’s question made George restless, but Greyson’s face hardened a little, "Leave that to ."
"It’s alright," George reached out to hold Mariana’s hand.
Greyson started cleaning George’s arm, "He’ll start feeling sleepy soon. After one hour, you can inform the rest of the family... about his death."
After goodbye kisses and hugs, Dr. Greyson slid the needle into his arm.
"George. Relax now," He muttered to his friend, "See you at the village, my friend."

Sienna slowly opened her eyes and stretched her arms lazily with a big grin on her face. After a long ti, she didn’t feel restless during her sleep.
However, her smile faded when she didn’t find Hunter beside her.
"Where is he?" She asked herself softly, sitting up.
Trying to blink the sleep away, she watched the empty space beside her that was cold. With a small pout, she got off the bed and walked towards the bathroom, "Hunter?" she knocked on the door.
Hah! Mr. Husband asked if I’d go on a date with him and then left the bed early. Not good!
She clicked her tongue inside her cheek and pushed open the door. For so reason, she felt disappointed.
Don’t be stupid, Sia. He is fulfilling his part of the contract.
For a mont, she wanted to forget about her past life and revenge... and lead a simple life with this man who was slowly making his way into her heart.
With a shrug, she went into the bathroom to take shower and look decent. When she stepped out, she was wearing an off-shoulder midi dress, but didn’t care to blow-dry her hair.
Today was a very important day. Soon her father’s death would be announced, and then she needed to start her job.
"Ready for today?" She sent a text to Lina, who responded with a salute emoji and a text, "Yes, boss!"
With a smile, she tossed her phone that landed on the edge of the mattress, and shook her hair loose when her bedroom door opened.
Sienna froze when she saw Hunter walking in. His hair was damp from the shower, and she could see small droplets still clinging to his neck.
He was wearing a fitted black t-shirt and faded blue jeans.

She thought when she saw him walking towards her with a faint smile, "I ca here to wake you up, princess," His fingers brushed through his hair as he spoke.
With a sigh, he then walked, picked up her phone from the bed, and placed it on the nightstand. After that, he picked up her charger that was on the floor and put it near her phone.
Sienna gave him an uneasy look. He was acting like a very capable and efficient secretary, but sotis... sotis he used to make her uncomfortable.
"Co on, nace. Breakfast is waiting!" He hooked his arm through hers and almost dragged her out.
"Hunter!" She tried to protest weakly, but he didn’t stop.
"I’m hungry, and if you think I should wait for you till you finish your makeup, then you’re mistaken."
Sienna rolled her eyes as she stopped near the table, "I don’t do make up," She tilted her head sideways to look at him.
"I know," He said with a wink and then pulled a chair for her, "Sit!"
Brian was placing the last dish on the dining table, paused for a mont, and looked at them, "You two slept together last night? Should have taken the bath together. I’ve heard it’s good for couples."
Sienna felt heat rushing to her cheeks, "Brian. One more word and I’ll fire you."
Brian made a face and started uncovering the dishes, "I made pancakes, olets, and coffee. And chocolate croissants as well...Hunter asked to. You two need energy after... you know... what you two did last night."
Sienna wanted to snap at the butler, who was way out of line. She couldn’t understand why Hunter found everything so funny.
After Hunter sat beside her, she pulled the croissant plate imdiately.
"God! I’m hungry!"
Right then, Hunter’s phone that lay on the nearby coffee table started ringing.
"I’ll take it," Brian went to fetch it. Sienna saw Ruby’s na flashing on the screen. With fake worry, she looked at Hunter’s face, whose face turned serious.
"Hmm. Okay... sure... I’ll be there with Sienna," After he ended the call, Sienna shot him a questioning look.
"Sienna. Baby. I’ve got so bad news," He threw his arms around her, pulling her closer, "Your dad... last night he had a heart attack and passed away this morning... I am so sorry, love. We need to leave. Now!"
