Alia looked at the mark on Cyrus’s neck, and sothing sparked inside her—almost like an instinct.

Before she could control her body and stop herself from doing what she wanted, she stepped ahead and grabbed Cyrus’s throat.

Her hand wrapped around his neck before she tilted his head to the side, yanking his shirt down so he could see her art carefully.

Grayson looked at the girl, who no longer looked like herself. She was a complete contrast to the girl he had been talking to in that tea room.

Even Cyrus was shocked at the feeling that travelled inside his body when she grabbed his throat like that. For the first ti in his life, his wolf felt that he had t soone worth his attention, soone of the sa energy as him.

It must be because of the mark. Or why would he feel sothing like that from a lantern healer who was as petite as her?

"I didn’t know I would end up marking you. Your blood was tasty, and that’s why I kept drinking it," Alia said before she pulled back and smirked at Cyrus.

Cyrus looked at the girl, who seed too proud of her art and didn’t know what to say.

Just a mont ago, she was crying because she thought he didn’t want to do it with her, and now she is smirking like she is soone else.

While he was happy that she wasn’t sad anymore, that didn’t make it any less embarrassing.

n are supposed to mark their won first!! And he is a King for crying out loud!!

"You!!" Cyrus pointed his finger at her, feeling tongue-tied.

Grayson looked at his grandson and shook his head, his lips twitching as he controlled his laugh, not wanting to embarrass his grandson even more.

But wait... what did the girl say? She drank his blood?

Grayson looked at the girl with his pupils dilated. He walked to Cyrus and yanked his shirt down again.

Cyrus felt weird. They were taking his shirt off like he was an ornant in an auction. Where was his dignity?

Grayson, however, was unfazed by his grandson’s glaring eyes and looked at the mark with a surprised expression.

Just like he had guessed, there were two wolves, one black, one white, and... fangs?

He gulped before stepping back.

Cyrus could feel sothing was wrong. His grandfather wasn’t expressing his shock because the princess had marked him, but because of what the mark looked like.

"What are you looking at, Grandpa?" Cyrus asked.

Grayson forced a smile on his face before shaking his head.

"It’s nothing. You guys should have your breakfast," he said, looking at Alia with a concerned expression, and left hurriedly, his subordinate following him.

Grayson’s heart was beating at a fast pace.

"Sir, what’s wrong? Your complexion looks very pale. Is sothing bothering you?" His subordinate asked.

Grayson shook his head.

He wanted to share what was wrong with his subordinate, but not outside where everyone or anyone could hear them. It was sothing that he didn’t even like air to know.

He had never thought that what that Gypsy had said all those years ago would co true. She had made predictions about a weird prophecy concerning the werewolf Kingdom regarding his family.

At that ti, he had indeed believed in it. Seeing how circumstances were turning, he thought it might co true and had started making necessary preparations, but after winning that interspecies war and Gloria’s death, he thought it was a bluff.

After all, it was vital for them to stay alive for that prophecy to co into effect.

But after hearing Alia drank Cyrus’s blood and was still breathing after that, those fangs mark on Cyrus’s neck even when they both were supposed to be werewolves... Grayson knew sothing was wrong and to confirm it, he needed to look for that Gypsy.

Only she could shed light on whether the predictions were coming true.

If that happened, the prediction about the Werewolf Kingdom going to war because of love and power would co true, too.

And if it were because of Alia, he would need to keep the girl away from Cyrus until everything was certain.

Grayson entered his room with his subordinate and pulled out his clothes from the almirah.

Amora, who had been in the study, walked back to the bedroom and looked at her husband packing his clothes.

Her brows furrowed.

"Are you going sowhere, honey? Why wasn’t I inford of it?" She asked, looking at the subordinate who shook his head, indicating he had no idea what was happening.

"I have to leave sowhere urgently, Amora. In the anti, can you persuade your grandson to keep Alia here? I want you to keep your eyes on that girl, not in a bad way, but in a protective way," Grayson said.

Amora didn’t understand a thing her husband was saying.

"But at least tell where you are going and why you—"

Amora couldn’t complete her sentence as Grayson pecked her lips to stop her from speaking.

"I will tell you everything once I have confird it, honey. For now, please do as I say. I can trust you for this, right?" Grayson asked.

Amora took a deep breath and nodded nonetheless.

This wasn’t the first ti her husband had done sothing without telling her so that he could keep her out of trouble, and she wouldn’t worry.

"Be safe," she said, and Grayson nodded, looking at his subordinate, who grabbed his suitcase. Then, they left.

Amora sighed and shook her head.

She descended the stairs and asked where Princess Alia was, only to hear that Cyrus and Alia had not returned from the forest to the Palace.

Instead, the man took her back to his Grand Palace, straight from the forest.

Her gaze darkened at the words, and she quickly asked the maids to ask one of the royal drivers to co. They would also leave for the palace.

In the car, Alia sat with a permanent blush on her face, stealing glances at Cyrus, who looked a little fuming.

He didn’t want to face the rest of the family after this.

Alia’s gaze t Fabian, who smiled at her. She smiled back softly before looking at Cyrus.

"Are you mad?" She asked.

"Does that even matter?" Cyrus scoffed.

Alia bit her bottom lip.

"Is there sothing I can do to make you feel better?" She asked.

Cyrus’s gaze imdiately went to her breasts, lewd thoughts engulfing his thoughts, and he quickly snapped out of them.

"Forget it," he grumbled.

Alia pouted.

She didn’t know how to make him talk to her normally again. It wasn’t like it was sothing she could turn back.

Once marked, a person belongs to the one who marked them.

That was the reason mates mark each other at the sa ti during mating. But she...

Even the thought made her blush, and Cyrus glared at her from the corner of his eye.

"I am sure you are happy about it," he scoffed.

"I am. You are mine now," Alia said shalessly before her eyes widened and she coughed.

"I an... it was so unfortunate. How dare they mix that drug in my drink?! If not for that..." She didn’t complete the sentence, and Cyrus caught at her obvious pretense to cover it up.

He huffed while his subordinates struggled to control their smiles at their King’s childish behaviour.
