Hannah was pissed.

The more she thought about Alia joining the sa University as hers and being in the sa league as hers, the more pissed she felt.

Alia was her younger sister, but even after that, she always felt outshined by her.

Born the prodigy of healers with a photographic mory for herbs and formulas, Alia always remained the center of attention.

But she didn’t deserve any second of it.

How could a girl who killed her mother with her birth and ate her twin brother before being born deserve any attention and praise?

And who knows if the prodigy was even her fate? What were the chances that she stole her brother’s fate? That bitch didn’t deserve to live, let alone smile.

How dare she co to the sa University as hers? If she wanted to study, many low-class Universities and colleges could’ve fitted her rotten self.

Hannah crumpled the tissue as she thought about Alia’s smile.

Though her friends spread rumors about Alia being a whore and soone who would do anything to be filled by a man’s warmth, it wasn’t enough.

Hannah wanted to ruin the girl inside and out so that bitch wouldn’t dare to compete with her.

She had been taking all the spots from that girl for so long, yet because of her academic results, Alia always outshone her.

The rumors were always present, but they ca with a jeopardized veil.

People would go around and say, yes, Alia was a slut, but she got the talent. She scored the highest. She ca first again.

First! First! First!

She already had to live under those shadows her entire school life, and now in university, too? No. She won’t allow that. Hannah shook her head in displeasure before quickly calling her nanny Jessica’s number.

"Jessica," Hannah whispered, her lips trembling.

"Hannah? What’s wrong? Why do you sound like this? Did soone bully you? Is it a werewolf? Do you need to co there?" Jessica asked.

Hannah walked to the lady’s washroom to ensure no one would hear her before she sniffed to fake how wronged she felt.

"It’s Alia. She is here. She got admitted into the University. I don’t know how she got that beast to pay for her. What should I do, Jessica? I don’t want to keep living in her shadows. I can’t be like her and go around sleeping with n for benefits," Hannah sniffed louder, faking her cries even more.

Jessica shushed Hannah and told her to listen to her, making the girl hiccup.

"Listen to , Hannah. If soone is becoming an obstacle, we don’t cry over it. It won’t take us anywhere. Rather, we remove that obstacle," Jessica said.

Hannah gasped loudly, faking her surprise.

"Remove her? I can’t do that, Jessica. She is my sister. Even if she hates and ruined my life, even taking Alpha Killian away from , I can’t harm her," Hannah said.

Jessica scoffed.

"That bitch was never your sister, Anna dear. Don’t forget how she took your brother away from you. And what about how everyone keeps praising her only?" Jessica said.

Hannah faked her hesitation for so ti before agreeing to Jessica’s suggestion.

"Will you help ?" Hannah asked.

"I will always help you," Jessica smiled before they talked briefly and ended the call.

Hannah breathed deeply and washed her hands before leaving the lady’s washroom.

What she didn’t know was that soone was inside the cubicle in the corner, and she could hear all her conversations.

The girl walked out of the cubicle before scoffing, her aura demanding respect.

"Rotten," She said before leaving the lady’s washroom.

During the second-last lecture of the day, Alia decided it was better she took a look around the forest since she didn’t have anyone to talk to and because she needed to start working on her herbs again and create a legacy away from the healers of the West.

She walked inside the forest, looking at the small bushes, inhaling the fresh, heavily humid air that indicated it was about to rain soon.

At the sa ti, Aaron stood behind the tree with Ryan and Derrick.

"Are you sure it’s a good idea?" Ryan asked while he casually read the thesis he was preparing.

"Oh, co on, don’t be a sour supporter. It would be fun. Besides, we already told the boys not to overdo it," Aaron said.

Derrick nodded in agreent.

It was going to be fun. Since the girl had an attitude problem, they wanted to see how she would co to them and ask for help.

The plan was simple. During the interval, they called a couple of guys from their pack and told them to harass the girl when alone.

When she would scream for help, they would rush to help her, and she, who said she hated Aaron, woulddefinitely be grateful for life.

The plan was simple and looked trustworthy.

"They are here," Derrick shook Ryan’s shoulder to catch his attention as they used the binoculars to see the scene from quite so distance.

Since they were alphas and had a strong scent, they didn’t want to alert anyone, especially Alia; thus, they stood at a distance.

Ryan turned to look at the scene with his binoculars and furrowed his brows.

"Don’t you think you went overboard?" He asked.

Aaron looked at the seven n who arrived, completely dressed in black from head to toe.

"I just asked them to cover themselves so no one would recognize their face when they arrived. Who asked them to act like spies? Well, it’s good. It will make it more realistic," Aaron grinned, excited to see Alia’s face.

Alia, on the other hand, crouched to grab a little four-petal flower that grew quite rarely and froze in her place when she heard multiple shuffling around her.

She quickly turned around, her hand pulling out the dagger from her pocket as she faced the seven n dressed in black.

Her gaze darkened when she looked into their eyes, which had a murderous glint in their eyes.

"What do you want?" She asked, stepping back cautiously.

She looked behind the guys and calculated the distance she walked ntally.

She was around half a mile away from the University now.

The students were allowed to go inside the forest for up to three miles. She didn’t even cover one-third of it.

For these n to appear here, it was clear soone aided them.

Does soone want her dead?

"We want to show you your place, healer," One of the n said, and the slight suspicion Alia had vanished.

The realization made her heart cold, and she gulped.

They were indeed here to harm her. But why?

What did she do to them?

"Why?" She asked, wanting their identity in case the King inquired about them.

"Because your existence is annoying," The man said, and his people chuckled.

They weren’t going to reveal their identities, and judging from their stance, it was clear they were trained fighters.

While she had taken rigorous training in her last life since she lived like a rogue for a year and survival in the forest wasn’t easy, her current body wasn’t perfect for that kind of combat.

Alia took a deep breath before she stepped back and started running.

The spies imdiately started running behind her.

She ran as fast as she could, circling the trees so she could go towards the University rather than going away from it.

However, luck wasn’t on her side.

The trained spies started climbing the trees and running on the branches, using their supernatural abilities.

She didn’t stand a chance as a lantern healer who didn’t work out much.

"Quit running," one of the n raised his hand before striking down, the shining long blade, making her roll back as she barely dodged.

She used her dagger just in ti to counter the next attack before kicking the man away.

However, the man only stumbled back a little due to the lack of strength in her kick before chuckling at her.

"Guys, you don’t need to worry. I’ll handle her," The man said proudly before he jumped on her to attack her with his sword again.

Alia raised her hand to counter the sword with her dagger. Her hand shivered at the impact, and she quickly pulled it back.

She swiftly turned around before taking support from the tree and kicking the man away again, this ti stronger than before. He landed on his back.

As he fell, the cloth on his face ca off, and Alia’s pupils dilated when she recognized the face.

This man...

How was this possible? She didn’t rember encountering this assassinator until she attended the MoonLighting ceremony, which was still five months away.

Dread spread in her heart, and she finally understood that these weren’t just trained spies who wanted to kill her.

They were here to capture her, torture her, and use her.

Alia’s hand shook at the realization.
