Cyrus stumbled back in his steps, mind linking all the soldiers that no one was allowed to enter the garden without permission, as he looked at Alia in disbelief.

"I can’t believe this," he said.

Kyle nodded in understanding.

"But you have to accept this. You know her. She wouldn’t make such big claims if she weren’t so sure about it. If you still are not sure, how about we do a DNA test?" Kyle suggested.

Cyrus couldn’t understand how the man was so casual about everything. It almost felt like he already knew sothing.

Did he?

"Why are you so unbothered about it?" Cyrus asked.

Kyle shrugged his shoulders.

"It’s not that I am unbothered. Honestly, I don’t give two fucks if you are my brother. All I care about is that Alia would be mine as much as she is yours. That’s all that matters to . Now I know why I didn’t feel jealous or hatred towards you for touching Alia, but if it were anyone else, I would want to break their arms," Kyle said.

Cyrus shook his head before turning around.

His gaze wavered. Was Kyle his brother? Did their grandfather know that the second brother was alive? No. How could that be? If that had been the case, he would’ve surely tried to look for him and wouldn’t have allowed him to live like a rogue.

But what Alia said couldn’t be ruled out either. His grandfather indeed left as soon as he saw the mark on his neck. And the fangs? He always wondered about them.

Cyrus took a deep breath before looking at Alia.

His eyes turned a bit moist.

Alia, who had been thinking about how to take things, looked at the broken expression on his face and couldn’t help but feel her heart breaking.

She could see it in his eyes.

Cyrus wasn’t sad because he would need to share her with another man. That was probably not even in his mind.

He wasn’t sad at all. He just... he didn’t know how to take in this information.

He didn’t know how to accept his brother. How to act at this mont?

Was he supposed to hate him because he was the one his mother chose when she ran away? Or was he supposed to sympathize with him because he knew what kind of life Kyle had?

Was he supposed to hate him because he was a rogue head? Or ask him how he has been?

Alia’s eyes brimd with tears as she felt his emotional turmoil in her heart. She gulped and walked ahead before spreading her hands.

Cyrus didn’t waste a second and hugged her, placing his head on the crook of her neck.

His hold tightened around her, and Alia patted his back softly.

"It’s okay," Alia whispered, her voice almost sounding angelic in his ears.

"It’s too much to take in," Cyrus confessed.

Alia nodded in understanding. She knew it indeed was. It was a lot to take in for her too.

"It won’t be so hard if you hug your brother. I know you have your complaints, and I don’t want to sympathize with him, but he has his complaints too, my love. You both fought your battles gracefully. It’s ti you stand by each other," Alia said.

Kyle looked at the hugging couple and suddenly felt a little left out.

He averted his gaze and was about to walk away when Alia held his hand, stopping him.

His body froze for a second before he turned around to look at her.

"I am not letting either of you go. Call selfish, but I want both of you," Alia said, and Cyrus took a deep breath before nodding and taking a step back.

He didn’t know how to take all this. But seeing how his wolf was so calm in this situation, it was almost like a silent agreent to the arrangent.

I never told you this, Cyrus. The person who called out wasn’t Alia. It was your brother. Sylas suddenly confessed, and Cyrus looked at his wolf in sheer surprise.

"What is that supposed to an?" Cyrus almost snarled.

It’s exactly what you heard. Rember how we fought with Kyle before the duel? That was when I was instigated. I always felt alone and empty, which was why I couldn’t co out. However, after eting Kyle, your emptiness vanished. Though Alia stood near the grounds, it was Kyle who called out.

Sylas cleared.

He rembered slling Kyle on Alia, but unlike others’ scents, his sll never bothered him; it just provoked a curiosity.

Besides, didn’t everyone say that they could never sll Kyle? But he always could.

Cyrus looked at the man who was looking back at him with a look of defiance.

He appeared nonchalant. But if one looked carefully, this nonchalance was a shield that he built around himself to save himself from the hurt.

Cyrus sighed.

So it was indeed true that Kyle was his brother, and his wolf approved of him.

The man thinned his lips before walking to Kyle, who went rigid for a second.

"Look, if you are here to persuade into giving Alia up, you are mistaken. She is my mate too, and I won’t let you—" Kyle started, but what happened next made him stop mid-sentence.

Cyrus extended his hand and pulled Kyle in for a hug.

Alia’s pupils dilated, as she never expected Cyrus to initiate the acceptance. But he did.

A smile stretched on her lips, and she clapped her hands when she saw Kyle placing his hands around Cyrus’s back.

"I am sorry for being so oblivious about your presence for so long," Cyrus said.

"You didn’t know. I didn’t know either. We are even. Besides, I had bad intentions with your wife even after knowing she is yours, so that makes us even since you had bad intentions with my mate," Kyle said.

Cyrus suppressed his urge to roll his eyes.

"She is my wife."

"She is my mate."

Both n said it at the sa ti, and Alia sighed.

"You can have her during the days to parade her around as your queen. I want her during the night. I only want her, no recognition, nothing else," Kyle said.

Cyrus shook his head and pulled away from the hug.

He raised his hand to slap Kyle’s back when Kyle grabbed his hand.

"You can’t do that. I am your elder brother," Kyle said.

"We are twins," Cyrus thinned his lips.

"Yeah, I am definitely a few seconds or minutes older. I can feel it in my veins," Kyle smirked, since there was no way to prove whether he was speaking the truth.

Alia thinned her lips at their so-called childish banter and looked around.

"Now that we know you guys are brothers, shouldn’t we introduce Kyle to the royal family?" She asked.

Cyrus nodded. His grandfather would be thrilled to know that his other grandson was alive all this ti.

"Get introduced and face Dominic’s evil sches? I don’t think I am ready for that. You can tell that old man. I have t him a few tis already. So he would understand. But for now, I think we should keep low," Kyle said.

Cyrus gazed at Kyle, his eyes filled with mixed emotions.

"I can’t believe you are making my mate go through those trials," Kyle said, almost in a reprimanding tone.

Cyrus nodded.

"I can’t believe I’ll have to make my mate go through that just for so sick rituals," he whispered.

Alia smiled at the two n.

"Don’t worry. I’ll handle it all," she said before rembering the main reason she was there.

Grayson’s health.
