"Mom." ng Shuyan called out pitifully, tilting his face upward with an eager expression, "I want so milk too." He hadn’t even tasted it, yet it was given to his younger brother—Mom didn’t love him anymore!

Tian Sangsang had to look after both Little Tangyuan and ng Shuyan at the sa ti.

Hearing his words, she smiled helplessly, "Yanyan, you already drank it before—you can’t have it anymore, you’ve been weaned, you know that? Your little brother is still young. After he drinks it for about a year, he won’t be able to have it anymore either."

ng Shuyan wracked his brain, "Why don’t I rember drinking it?"

"You were too little to rember," Tian Sangsang replied. He was still so young now—what kind of mory could he have? When he grows older, he might not even rember these days.

ng Shuyan unhappily eyed his milk-drinking little brother. Seeing how Mom’s attention was entirely on his brother without sparing him a glance, his head drooped in sadness.

Zhao Chun leaned over cautiously, pulling the little one closer to him, "Yanyan."

ng Shuyan suddenly rembered sothing, pursed his lips, and said, "I’m not called Yanyan anymore."

"Oh~~~ Little Bun," Zhao Chun awkwardly continued, "Your little brother doesn’t know how to do anything, so he needs milk... Y... Little Bun, you’ve grown up. You can eat proper als now; drinking milk at your age would invite teasing. Milk is for little kids who can’t independently eat, drink, or use the bathroom."

ng Shuyan seized the key point and imdiately nodded, "He really doesn’t know anything—kind of silly, to be honest. I’m much smarter than him; I can even play the piano."

Zhao Chun patted him, "True."

ng Shuyan furrowed his little brows and said pitifully, "But I still want milk~"

Zhao Chun pondered for a mont, then quickly stepped out of the room. Not long after, he returned holding a small bottle of milk and handed it to ng Shuyan, "Here, Yanyan... Oh, Little Bun."

ng Shuyan held the bottle as if it were a treasure, eagerly taking sips.

Tian Sangsang watched him, her smile filled with amusent—this little one was really regressing.

"Is it good, Yanyan?"

ng Shuyan’s cheeks flushed as he nodded shyly. He lowered his head to look at the bottle cradled in his hands. Why did he feel so childish and immature? Yet, since this was his first ti using such a bottle—sothing he’d never had before—he couldn’t bear to let go.

As for Little Tangyuan, who knew what sort of personality he had? He was lively when drinking, but once he finished, he lazily sprawled in Tian Sangsang’s arms. She cautiously touched his little face; it was soft and tender. Just one touch was enough to make her nervous.

Zhao Chun took another bottle and stepped out again to prepare more formula—always ready for anything. Although she’d just delivered and managed to nap briefly, Tian Sangsang still felt exhausted; her upper and lower eyelids began to droop. Her body ached all over, especially her lower half.

But wouldn’t you know it, Little Tangyuan opened his eyes, his jet-black pupils glimring like black gemstones. He began murmuring indistinctly, "Hmm-hmm, hmm-hmm"—he didn’t even know what he was humming about.

Tian Sangsang found it amusing, weakly curling her lips into a smile. She carefully reached out to poke his eyelashes. In an instant, his eyes filled with tears, and he let out a wail.

"Waaaah—waaaah—!" His voice was astonishingly loud.

Zhao Chun couldn’t take it anymore, "Sangsang, let hold him." What kind of mom pokes her kid’s eyelashes?

Tian Sangsang was puzzled. She didn’t even use any force—why was he suddenly crying?

"Tang Yuan’er, don’t cry, don’t cry..." She gently rocked him before passing him to Zhao Chun.

Once Little Tangyuan was in Zhao Chun’s arms, he miraculously stopped crying, waving his small hands and feet.

Zhao Chun hugged the child with satisfaction, feeling more and more like this kid was adorable—he resembled Tian Sangsang, except for the eyes; those looked like Jinghuai’s. Zhao Chun was a natural when it ca to holding children. He mimicked Tian Sangsang’s earlier movents, gently swaying back and forth, using his arm like a cradle.

Suddenly, he reached out and touched sothing, blinking in confusion, "It’s wet—what’s this?"

Leaning against the bed, Tian Sangsang was nearly asleep. With a weary expression, she glanced over, only to see water-like drops dripping one by one onto the blanket wrapping Little Tangyuan.

Uh. -_-||

Suddenly understanding.

ng Shuyan set down his bottle, his big eyes curving into a brilliant smile, "Chun Zisu, he wet the bed!" That’s right—one more thing; he was smarter than his little brother. He had never wet the bed, not even once. This little brother truly didn’t understand anything—he was silly and dumb—wetting the bed on day one.

Zhao Chun laughed helplessly—it was obvious when he felt the stink of urine on his hand. Holding Little Tangyuan, he grabbed a diaper from nearby, but with only two hands, he was struggling to manage.

As for Little Tangyuan, after wetting himself, he fell straight into sleep—a trait that set him apart from other kids.

ng Shuyan evaluated him again in his heart: "Little Piggy. Eating, wetting, then sleeping."

"Why isn’t he moving?"

Tian Sangsang was just about to suggest Zhao Chun hand the baby to her—it would be easier for them to work as a team.

Zhao Chun let out a laugh, finding it amusing, "Tang Yuan’er’s asleep."

Tian Sangsang: ...

Just then, Ye Binyi and the eldest aunt walked in, seeing Zhao Chun busily handling everything. They started teaching him step-by-step. As a new father, Zhao Chun was learning quickly.

Ye Binyi couldn’t stop grinning; with both children being boys, she casually remarked that she’d love to take one ho to raise. They had brought lamb soup with them, it was great for boosting maternal milk production. She urged Tian Sangsang to drink and shared so tips for post-partum recovery when she eventually returned ho.

"You’re ho alone. When it’s ti for recovery, how will you have ti to take care of the baby? Sangsang, why don’t you co live with us?" Ye Binyi asked eagerly.

Holding Little Tangyuan, Zhao Chun stiffened, instinctively straightening his back.

He acted as if confronting an enemy, his grip tightening. Having cared for this child for months—even while he was still in the womb—he’d prepared the crib and everything. This child was his adopted son!

Ye Binyi continued, "Newborns are fragile—even one careless mont could lead to illness."

Tian Sangsang didn’t back down, "I’ll be careful—I can manage." When it ca to her child, she was firm. Not going back ant not going back; she wouldn’t compromise. With Jiang Jinghuai gone, her ties to the Jiang Family had faded. Other than the marriage certificate, their relationship was practically divorced.

Though she was deeply thankful to Ye Binyi and Jiang Jinghuai’s father for driving her to the hospital that morning, it was just gratitude.

Ye Binyi sighed, "Has the baby’s na been decided yet?"

Tian Sangsang replied, "Jiang Huan. His nickna is Little Tangyuan, Tang Yuan’er."

Ye Binyi didn’t expect her to voluntarily give the child the Jiang Family surna—she thought she’d use her own surna, Tian. Given this decision, there was no need for extra persuasion. She found the na Jiang Huan quite fitting. Gazing at her grandson, she couldn’t help but agree—he really was a Little Tangyuan, round and chubby, a tiny bundle.

"Perfect." She stood up, her face beaming, "I’ll go ahead and register Tang Yuan’er’s household now. You rest up, okay?" Once registered, the child would officially belong to the family—there was no escaping.

Tian Sangsang: "Mm."
