The fiery red whip, the blazing red robes, and that domineering, overbearing aura were indeed a perfect match for Serestia.

Snap!

The whip lashed the ground with a thunderous crack.

Stone shattered, spiderweb fractures spreading instantly beneath it. The sheer force behind the strike made more than a few onlookers feel their scalps go numb.

"I’ll let you see what I’m capable of!" Serestia sneered.

Her wrist flicked again, ruthless and decisive. The crimson whip howled through the air like a venomous serpent, slashing straight toward Zora’s face without the slightest hesitation.

The crowd’s expressions changed at once.

No one had expected Serestia to be this vicious.

Striking was one thing, but aiming directly for the face was another entirely. If that whip landed, flesh would split, bone might show, and the peerless beauty before them would be permanently ruined.

A cruel smile curved Serestia’s lips.

Once that face was destroyed, she wanted to see how Zora could still act so proud.

A glint of icy light flashed through Zora’s eyes.

She had no grievance with Serestia. Yet the mont this woman appeared, she sought nothing but to destroy her. Truly... excessive.

If others do not offend , I will not offend them.

But if they do, then I will repay it a hundredfold.

Soon, the whip descended, its shadow falling over her face. But Zora didn’t dodge.

She stood there, taking it head-on.

"Be careful!" Nigel shouted instinctively.

It was too sudden. Too fast. By the ti anyone thought to intervene, it was already too late.

Drip... drip...

The sound of blood hitting the ground rang out, painfully clear.

The world seed to freeze.

Zora still stood there, unmoving.

However, there were no injuries on her face.

Instead, her left hand had clamped firmly around the crimson whip. Blood slid down from her fingers, dripping steadily to the stone floor. Yet her face—her flawless, breathtaking face—remained untouched.

Her expression was even more shocking.

She was actually smiling.

A dazzling, enchanting smile blood on her lips, as if she were rely enjoying a pleasant joke.

"Is that all?" she asked softly. "Did you have fun?"

The words were light, almost playful, but they carried a chill that seeped straight into the bones.

Serestia swallowed hard.

For the first ti, fear crept into her heart.

She knew exactly how powerful her whip strike had been. And yet... Zora had caught it barehanded.

How... how is that possible?

Before she could react—

"If you like ruining faces," Zora said calmly, her dark eyes turning cold, "then you should taste what that feels like yourself."

In an instant, she moved.

Silver light flashed between her left fingers; long nails appeared, created by mana.

Serestia’s pupils shrank violently. She tried to yank her whip back, to counterattack, to retreat—anything.

But it was too late.

Zora’s grip was ironclad.

With her right hand grabbing the whip, her left hand struck Serestia’s face.

Snap!

A sharp sound tore through the air, followed by a sickening rip.

Gasps erupted from all around.

Five thin, vicious gashes spread across Serestia’s face, slashing diagonally over her cheek. Blood flowed freely, staining her skin, making it look grotesque and horrifying.

Serestia scread.

"Aaaah!" Her hands flew to her face, trembling. When she saw the blood coating her fingers, her expression collapsed into pure terror. "You... you dared to ruin my face?!"

Zora released the whip at last. Blood dripped from her own hand, yet she seed not to feel it at all.

She stepped back calmly, her gaze icy and rciless.

"You were the one who wanted to destroy soone’s face," she said flatly. "So why scream now? If it’s ruined, then it’s ruined. What’s there to shout about?"

Zora’s voice was calm and final. Even with blood still dripping from her fingers, her expression remained indifferent, as though she had rely brushed aside an annoying fly.

"I’ve never liked provoking others," she continued coolly. "But if soone insists on coming to trouble , don’t bla for being impolite."

As her words fell, the temperature in the hall seed to drop.

Her gaze, sharp and icy, swept across the onlookers.

Many people felt their scalps tighten.

For years, everyone had been used to seeing Zora as a joke, a piece of gossip, a so-called waste trampled underfoot. Even after the royal hunting ga, even after her na shook the Imperial City, that old impression still lingered in people’s hearts.

But at this mont, watching her frost-covered expression and feeling that oppressive aura, everyone finally understood—

That version of Zora no longer existed.

She was no longer soone to be mocked at will. She was a true genius. And anyone who dared provoke her would have to bear the consequences.

Just then, another figure stepped into the Auction House.

The man wore dark green robes, his features refined, his manner gentle. At first, a smile rose to his lips when he saw Serestia. But the mont his eyes landed on her bloodied, scarred face, his expression changed drastically.

"Sera!" he exclaid. "What happened to you?!"

Serestia’s eyes lit up as if she had finally found a potionar to lean on. Tears welled instantly.

"Senior Brother!" she cried. "You must help take revenge!"

Silvan, a fellow student of the Imperial Academy, had always doted on Serestia. This ti, when she returned to the Imperial City, he had followed along. Seeing the woman he admired injured like this, his anger flared at once.

"Who did this?" Silvan demanded fiercely.

"I did," Zora replied flatly, crossing her arms and staring directly at him. "What? You want to avenge her?"

Silvan’s fury surged, and he instinctively stepped forward—

But when his eyes fully t Zora’s face, his movent stalled.

For a brief mont, his mind went blank.

She was... too beautiful.

He had always thought Serestia was stunning, but compared to the woman before him, Serestia seed to lose all color.

"Who... who are you?" Silvan asked, his tone unconsciously softening.

"Zora." A trace of impatience flashed through her eyes. "If you want to fight, then do it. I don’t have ti to waste."

The crowd inhaled sharply.

That was Silvan—mid-stage Sky Realm, a genuine powerhouse!

Yet Zora showed no sign of retreat. Instead, she was openly provoking him.

"Senior Brother, what are you hesitating for?" Serestia shrieked. "Help ruin her face!"

Silvan’s gaze flickered with hesitation.

Facing such a peerless beauty, how many n could really bring themselves to strike?

Just as he wavered, a steady voice rang out.

"Enough."

The shopkeeper of the Auction House strode in.
