Once Bela accepted the arrangement, the powerful gazes of the ’Laws’ of the ’Universe’ slowly turned back to Allen.
Only then did Bela understand what kind of burden a ’Child of Heavens’ had to bear every single moment of their life.
Allen was not even ten years old yet; kids his age would be going to school and playing in mud with their friends without a single care in the world!
And yet, Allen, who was born the chosen one, could not enjoy the same happiness as other children.
He was constantly under the gaze of the various ’Laws’ of the heaven and was constantly under the pressure of achieving perfect results.
The entire universe’s hope was weighing on those little shoulders, and he could not afford to make a single mistake.
He even had to modify his own parents’ destiny to make them die early so that he could break away from the mortal shackles and start his journey to save the world.
Only after witnessing everything with her own eyes did Bela realize what kind of fate and burden a destined ’Hero’ had to carry.
’No wonder the birth of a ’True Hero’ is so difficult. To be a ’Hero’ you have to be ready to sacrifice everything at any moment...’
’I could have never made the same decisions as him if I was in his position.’
Bela loved her parents deeply, and the death of her parents was one of the greatest regrets in her life.
If given the choice, she would still choose to go back to the days where she could be a carefree girl unaware of the cruel nature of this world.
If given a chance, she would prefer to live a life of peace with her parents and would never dream of entering the world of awakeners again; she could sacrifice her everything for the sake of her family.
But Allen was different.
He was born with a mission to save the world. The very reason for his existence was for his duty towards the entire universe as a whole.
In the bigger picture, the lives of his parents did not hold as much value.
To make sure that his mission does not get delayed, he made the decision to break away from his mortal shackles as early as possible.
This clearly showed that he was ready to sacrifice his everything for the sake of the world; he was pletely opposite of Bela, and perhaps that was also the reason why he was the ’Chosen One’ and not Bela.
"But... I don’t think I am worthy of teaching someone as great as you... wouldn’t inheriting knowledge directly from the ’Laws’ of the ’World’ be a better choice?"
Hearing Bela’s words, Allen smiled gently and replied to Bela calmly,
"There is a limit to which the ’Laws’ of the universe can interfere with reality without breaking the natural world order."
"Moreover, as I said earlier, making changes in this mortal body through indirect means will not end well."
"I have already modified the destiny of this mortal body enough. To make this self of mine more resilient and to bring out its true potential, it would be better to let it develop normally like any other mortal."
Allen looked at Nova who had been silent all this time and spoke.
"You have learned from the fairies and have travelled the entire world; moreover, you share the same mission as me."
"There is no better teacher for me than you. I want you to teach this mortal self of mine all the experiences that will help me shape a personality of a ’Hero’ that will work hard to restore order in this world."
"The fairies are knowledgeable, but they chatter too much. I want you to play the part of the mediator for me."
Bela nodded her head and acknowledged the destiny bestowed upon her.
By now, she had already confirmed that if she followed Allen, she would be able to fulfill her own dreams of making the world a better place for the future generations.
Moreover, this settlement was the safest place in the entire world because of the presence of the Child of Heavens here.
Until Allen leaves this place at the age of 15, no demons or humans will attack it, and Bela can finally settle down after being a fugitive for so long.
She can finally stop worrying about being pursued by enemies every day and can finally take a brief rest before the grand journey to save the world officially begins.
"Good. This meeting has been very fruitful; I am looking forward to the day when we will officially start our grand journey."
"Having the world’s greatest healer as a partner on this journey would be greatly reassuring."
"Now, I shall revert this mortal body back to that of a mortal child and let nature take its course."
With that said, the overwhelming aura of a heavenly being disappeared from Allen’s body, and the young child fell asleep instantly.
Bela walked forward and immediately took the child in her arms and started walking back towards the settlement to send Allen back to his parents.
A happy smile appeared on her beautiful face as she took the same path back.
Unlike when she had first e looking for Allen, now her eyes carried the brilliance of ’Hope’ in them just like Nova.
For the first time since the day she had lost her parents, Bela was now looking forward to the future and wanted time to move faster.
Before this she had always lamented the passing of time, as with each passing year her memory of those long-gone days of peace was fading away.
But now, she willingly wanted time to move faster as she felt excited at the thought of starting the journey with Allen.
’I hope that I will be able to make this world a better place for the future generations so that no child will have to live a miserable life like me in the future and no child will be plagued by the terror of demons.’
With Bela regaining hope for the future and Allen modifying destiny to make plans for the great journey ahead of him,
The first meeting between the ’Fated Miracle’ and the ’Goddess of Protection and Cure’ finally came to an end.
