Fang Ping’an, standing aside, remained silent but always glanced at Zhou Yuni’s face.
He observed Zhou Yuni, and when he saw her face change once and again at the ntion that Fang Xiu still hadn’t divorced Luo Zhiming, he suspected sothing was amiss. He deliberately spoke up loudly, "And, I truly had no idea Xu He could be so foolish. Knowing full well that my Xiu’er isn’t married to Luo Zhiming yet, she still agreed to marry him. What is she planning to do? Serve as Luo Zhiming’s concubine in ancient style, not even wanting status or what?"

"You..." Zhou Yuni was so angry that her face contorted, but Fang Xiu was already shouting, and she couldn’t stop her.
Soon, many villagers ca out to see what the commotion was about.
And indeed, Xu He was summoned out, followed by Luo Zhiming.
It turned out Xu He wasn’t in her own ho but was at the Luo Family’s, no wonder Zhou Yuni was so afraid of Fang Xiu speaking loudly.

Fang Xiu smiled playfully, glanced at Luo Zhiming, and asked, "Don’t you know that I’m not divorced from Luo Zhiming yet? He and I..."
Before Fang Xiu could finish, Luo Zhiming suddenly ca over, glaring nacingly at Fang Xiu, half-threateningly said, "Fang Xiu, if you dare talk nonsense again, I’ll break your legs."
He was terrified that Fang Xiu would spill sothing about that child being his at that mont because Xu He had said she didn’t mind Luo Zhiming being divorced, but she did care if he had children.
If he had a child, no matter what, she would not be with Luo Zhiming.
"Hmph, co at if you have the guts. If you dare touch today, I’ll fight you with my life," Fang Xiu also stood her ground, glaring back fiercely at Luo Zhiming, "When we were husband and wife, I accommodated you in everything; do you really think you still have any standing in my heart now?"
"Yes, Luo Zhiming, if you dare lay a hand on my daughter today, I’ll risk this old life of mine to take you down," Fang Ping’an also stepped up to Luo Zhiming, ready to fight him to the death.
"Just drop it, stop causing a scene," Xu He dismissed the private tiffs with Luo Zhiming, but in public, she certainly stood by his side. She sneered sarcastically at Fang Xiu, "If you haven’t divorced yet, you will eventually. I believe no man could tolerate his woman having children with another man."
"That’s right, she and I have been done for a long ti. I only ca back last ti to divorce her, but she shalessly refused to split and kept dragging it out," Luo Zhiming was quick to clarify, "But since I returned to the city, she and I have had nothing to do with each other, as you know."
The comnts from Luo Zhiming and Fang Xiu sparked a wave of speculation among the villagers who had co to watch the drama unfold,
"What’s going on here; is the child in Fang Xiu’s belly not Luo Zhiming’s?"
Soone whispered, "No way, when she was pregnant at ho, wasn’t Zhou Yuni boasting everywhere that she was carrying a son?"
"Ah, that’s just Zhou Yuni showing off outside. At ho, she doesn’t treat Fang Xiu like a person, sotis not even letting her eat," another person chid in.
"In that case, you can’t really bla the Luo Family, Fang Xiu is just too despicable."
Fang Xiu didn’t expect Xu He to be so malicious, deliberately humiliating her in front of everyone—after all, they had no severe grievances between them, and if it weren’t for Luo Zhiming, they might even have gotten along before.
Fang Xiu pointed at Xu He, her face turning green with anger, "Xu He, you..."
"Zhiming, I know, I don’t bla you." Xu He didn’t care to respond to Fang Xiu; instead, she purposefully looked at Luo Zhiming with a smile, "Besides, I believe that it’s not just you, but any man wouldn’t be able to accept such a woman."

Fang Ping’an saw his family being pointed at and talked about by so many in the village and felt disgraced. He wanted to take Fang Xiu ho.
But Fang Xiu wasn’t willing to leave like this. She wasn’t going to let Luo Zhiming and Xu He get away with it either and decided not to save them any face. She revealed what she knew, "Haha, the two of you sure play a good act in front of others, who knows what ssy things you’ve been up to in private. Last I heard, Luo Zhiming even tried to kill himself; maybe Xu He found soone else outside and made Luo Zhiming want to die out of anger."
Xu He’s face changed, but she quickly retorted, "Better to try to die than to sneak around with other n outside."
"You..." Fang Xiu, seeing how vigorously Xu He defended Luo Zhiming, suddenly rembered sothing. She glanced under Luo Zhiming’s body and blurted out, "Xu He, don’t get so cocky, just go ahead and marry Luo Zhiming. Be happy and do it; I wish you a lineage cut short."
At Fang Xiu’s words, both Zhou Yuni and Luo Zhiming turned pale. Luo Zhiming imdiately waved his hand irritably at Fang Xiu, "Forget it, forget it, don’t talk to her anymore, bad luck."
"Stop talking," Zhou Yuni also promptly spoke up, eager to get Fang Xiu to leave quickly, "You want a divorce? Be there tomorrow at eight in the morning, at the town’s township governnt. The sooner the better."
