Seeing Fang Pingying’s determination, Zeng Weiguo no longer hesitated and readily agreed, "Alright, let’s decide to do it. Each of us invests one hundred thousand yuan for now. If the capital is not enough, I can cover it first, and you can pay back after we make money."
"I reckon that three hundred thousand yuan in capital should be nearly enough." Fang Pingying roughly calculated and purposely estimated on the higher side, feeling that opening a dium-sized supermarket in the provincial city with three hundred thousand yuan would definitely be feasible. "We’ll do as much as we can with the money we have, start with a supermarket that’s neither too big nor too small. If business is good, we can then expand aggressively."
Zeng Weiguo felt this was also a good approach as it was safer, and agreed, "Okay, let’s settle on that."
The group discussed further, each person sharing their opinions, and combined everyone’s thoughts, temporarily deciding on this until Zeng Weiguo found a suitable location to discuss further details.
Fang Pingying smiled at Zeng Weiguo and said, "Uncle Zeng, I’ll have to trouble you then. What I can do involves the supermarket managent model and so of the more tedious aspects. You might have to handle more of the tasks related to dealing with other people and networking."
Zeng Weiguo didn’t see this as a difficult task, he smiled lightly and nodded, "Sure, I’ve been in business for many years and have t many people. This sort of thing is not hard; I’ll take care of it."
Though it was said to be a partnership among three, juzi didn’t actually do anything, even her investnt was covered by her uncle.
In fact, Fang Pingying wanted to include juzi as well, thinking of having more security. Although Zeng Weiguo was reliable, he was ultimately a businessman. If Zeng Weiguo ended up controlling a larger share, it might lead to other ideas should the business beco very successful.
Though juzi was Zeng Weiguo’s granddaughter, Fang Pingying trusted juzi a bit more.
Moreover, as Zeng Weiguo was rather stern, Fang Pingying always felt slightly uneasy when alone with him; it was much better with juzi around.
Feeling sowhat embarrassed for not contributing, juzi smiled and asked, "What about ? What can I do?"
"juzi, you are well educated, you can manage the supermarket’s books," said Fang Pingying, who saw juzi’s strengths, "Anyways, the managent of the books should really be kept within our circle and not passed through others’ hands."
That was indeed juzi’s strong point, she imdiately agreed, "Okay, I don’t have grand ambitions, but since I’ve agreed to cooperate, I will try my best."
Zeng Weiguo looked at juzi, smiled, and patted her head approvingly, "You, little girl, have finally grown up. Before, you couldn’t even settle into a simple job, but now you are opening your own shop."
juzi smiled at Zeng Weiguo, hugged his arm and acted coquettishly, "People have to grow up."
This discussion about the supermarket was just an initial eting; although all agreed, there were still many minor details to handle. Such a big business venture couldn’t be established overnight; it needed to be taken slowly.
With many tasks at hand, Zeng Weiguo said goodbye and drove away after finalizing things with them.
Fang Pingying had been tied up for the past few months with childbirth and confinent, hardly having any free ti.
juzi, needing to tend the shop, also hadn’t seen Fang Pingying for quite so ti.
She grabbed Fang Pingying, picked up her own bag, and said with a smile, "Sister-in-law, let’s go out and walk around."
Since leaving her two children at ho, this was the first ti Fang Pingying had been away from her children for so long, she was in a hurry to return, "Walk around? I need to rush back, Ruirui and Yaoyao are waiting for to feed them."
At this, juzi held her back and said in a playful scolding tone, "Don’t beco a complete housewife now that you’ve had kids, always all about the children. I haven’t seen you for so long, and you can’t even spend so ti with ?"
Seeing Fang Pingying didn’t agree, juzi pouted, and with a bit of displeasure, said to Fang Pingying, "Besides, Ruirui and Yaoyao can also have formula milk, right? If you’re not back, Hong Lan and Sister-in-law Zhou will feed them formula. They won’t starve."
Fang Pingying, nearly pulled apart by her, had to agree, "Alright, alright. I just ntioned it briefly, but you have a long response. Just tell what you want to do today."
Hearing that Fang Pingying was willing to go, juzi grinned broadly and, pulling Fang Pingying along, said, "Accompany to shop around; I want to buy so things."
"What are you buying?"
"Look around, buy whatever there is," juzi said, then whispered in Fang Pingying’s ear, "I was thinking Huang Lin’s birthday is coming up soon. I want to buy him sothing, but I can’t decide what."
Fang Pingying smirked and teased her, "Yo, you two still have such romance, having been married for so long and still dabbling in these little thoughts."
"These little thoughtful gestures between husband and wife can’t be less," juzi said sowhat incredulously, "Don’t tell you’ve never bought anything for Battalion Commander Luo on his birthday."
Fang Pingying was taken aback, she just rembered that Luo Zhiyong’s birthday was last month, the month she was in confinent. With both children to care for, she was as busy as a spinning top, being able to fall asleep within a minute of hitting the bed every night; there was simply no ti to rember Luo Zhiyong’s birthday.
And indeed, Luo Zhiyong’s birthday wasn’t on a weekend, Fang Pingying had completely forgotten about it.
However, being reminded this way by juzi made her feel a little guilty towards the man. She smiled, "Then let’s go have a look together, and if we find sothing suitable for him, let’s buy a gift for him too."
Hearing this, juzi burst into laughter, hugged Fang Pingying’s arm and said, "Ha ha, your Battalion Commander Luo would be so happy he’d wish to hug you and kiss you."
Fang Pingying rolled her eyes at her and blinked, "Has Huang Lin hugged and kissed you before, that you’re so experienced?"
"Nonsense," juzi said, her face showing a shy blush of a coy woman.
Fang Pingying, seeing this, smiled.
But then, as if suddenly rembering sothing, she leaned close to juzi and whispered in her ear, "How have you been feeling lately? It’s been quite a while since that last incident, and by rights, you should be able to conceive a child by now. Have you been thinking about having children?"
juzi’s face blushed, then looked sowhat troubled, "After that ti when I recovered, we haven’t been careful, but there’s been no sign of pregnancy."
Fang Pingying frowned, "Have you seen a doctor?"
juzi appeared unsure, "Does this matter require seeing a doctor? Shouldn’t it just happen if it’s ant to?"
"Seeing a doctor is always a good idea." Fang Pingying, seeing that it was just about lunchti, pulled juzi towards a distant walk, "Anyway, it’s still early; let’s go see a doctor first, then we can go out to eat, and finally go shopping. If you are fine, you’ll feel more at ease."(To be continued. If you like this work, you are welco to cast your recomndation votes and monthly tickets at Qidian (qidian).
