Several people rushed out of the house, only to realize they didn’t know where to go.

Zhou Yuni imdiately grabbed Luo Honglan and asked, "Where is the Police Station?"

"I don’t know either." Luo Honglan shook her head, as she had been behaving herself since arriving in the provincial city and would not know where the Police Station was.

Hearing this, Zhou Yuni glared at her annoyedly, "You’re really of no use. You’ve been in the provincial city for so long and you don’t even know where the Police Station is."

Luo Honglan felt sowhat embarrassed and stamred, "There are many Police Stations in the city, I don’t know which one it is."

Zhou Yuni glared at her again, thought for a mont, and then asked, "Then who inford you about this incident?"

It was then that Luo Honglan rembered and she imdiately ran towards Juzi’s clothing store while shouting, "You all wait here for a mont. I’ll go ask Sister Juzi. It was Sister Juzi who inford earlier."

After hearing this, Zhou Yuni and Luo Cuilan imdiately followed her, "Let’s go together, don’t waste ti."

The group went to Juzi’s shop, and while Zhou Yuni and Luo Cuilan did not enter, it was Luo Honglan who went in to ask Juzi.

Juzi, knowing about the Luo Family’s issues, did not show a good expression to Zhou Yuni and did not co out to greet them, simply telling Luo Honglan which Police Station it was and how to get there.

After Luo Honglan ca out, she called Zhou Yuni and the others to leave.

Zhou Yuni and Luo Cuilan, not understanding the situation, seed to dislike Juzi as well, murmuring along the way, constantly discussing how bad people are.

Hearing this, the earnest Luo Honglan felt annoyed, thinking that the people in her family were indeed too hard to please, always ready to gossip about others’ faults.

Finally, they reached the Police Station where Luo Zhiming was.

After asking around, a police officer handling Luo Zhiming’s case finally ca out.

As soon as Zhou Yuni saw the officer, without asking further, she directly asked, "Officer, how much money do we need to compensate for my family Zhiming’s matter? We are from the countryside and don’t have much money. Can we compensate less?"

After the officer understood that they were Luo Zhiming’s family, he explained to them, "Ma’am, your son attempted suicide but was saved by us. We inford you to co and pick him up. There is no need for any compensation."

"Attempted suicide?" Zhou Yuni did not understand what this ant and paused before asking further, "What does that an?"

Seeing that Zhou Yuni was not young, the officer patiently smiled and explained, "Ma’am, it ans he tried to seek death but we managed to save him. We have already counseled your son, and you can take him ho now."

Upon understanding the officer’s words, Zhou Yuni couldn’t control herself and forcefully grabbed the officer, crying out loud, "Seek death, why would he seek death if he’s well?"

Luo Honglan felt that Zhou Yuni’s reaction was too excessive and imdiately went up to hold her, "Mom, don’t cling onto the officer. Second Brother is inside, let’s go ask Second Brother."

"Right." Zhou Yuni imdiately nodded and asked the officer to take them to Luo Zhiming.

The police officer led them towards the Police Station, reaching a room, the officer pointed at one of the closed doors, "Your family mber is inside. Take him back and advise him properly not to do anything foolish again."

As Zhou Yuni opened the door, everyone saw Luo Zhiming sitting on a stool, his head buried between his legs.

Though his face was not visible, Luo Zhiming’s filthy and unkempt appearance was evident, his hair dry and brittle. Had it not been for his recognizable silhouette, Zhou Yuni and the others could hardly believe such a scruffy person was Luo Zhiming.

Upon hearing the door open, Luo Zhiming imdiately lifted his head.

Zhou Yuni, observing Luo Zhiming who had clearly lost a lot of weight, started crying out of heartache, "Zhiming, what on earth has happened to you, why seek death like this?"

Luo Zhiming looked at Zhou Yuni and also started crying miserably, "Mom, I don’t want to live anymore."

Zhou Yuni hurried forward, embraced Luo Zhiming in her arms and burst into tears, "Son, what exactly happened? Tell ."

Luo Honglan, seeing them speaking so loudly in the Police Station, felt it was disturbing others, and quietly reminded Zhou Yuni, "Mom, let’s go back first, we can talk it over at ho."

Zhou Yuni dried her tears and quickly nodded, "Yes, let’s go back first."

The group left the Police Station, got into a car and returned to the building where Luo Zhiyong lived. Zhou Yuni was pulling Luo Zhiming to go upstairs.

But Luo Honglan, recalling Luo Zhiyong’s words, imdiately stopped them and made up an excuse, "I think Second Brother shouldn’t stay here. The apartnt is too small, there won’t be enough space if Second Brother stays. Let’s go to the guest house nearby, it’s just ahead."

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yuni glared at Luo Honglan, "Do you think money grows on trees? Our ho is spacious enough, it’s only the three of us there, with your Second Brother it makes four, how could it be too small?"

Luo Honglan hesitated, "Second Brother staying at the guest house is quite convenient, it’s just in front, and you don’t even need to climb the stairs, plus they serve als there."

"Are we short of food at ho?" Zhou Yuni gave Luo Honglan a stern look and continued pulling Luo Zhiming upstairs.

"It’s not that," Luo Honglan, seeing she couldn’t stop them, had no choice but to speak Luo Zhiyong’s exact words, "Mom, Big Brother said that Second Brother is not allowed to stay at his house. Otherwise, when he returns, he’s going to kick you and Big Sister out."

After Luo Honglan finished speaking, Luo Zhiming began crying again, speaking through his tears with a look of grievance, "Mom, look, this is why I wanted to die. I’m in such a state, yet even my own elder brother doesn’t care about , what’s the point of living."

Knowing what Luo Zhiyong had said, Zhou Yuni beca even more infuriated and pulled Luo Zhiyong upstairs vigorously, "Let’s go, we will settle in properly. I don’t believe your elder brother would dare do anything when he cos back."

Though Luo Zhiming said so, he still felt sowhat guilty and hesitated to go up, "I... I might as well stay at the guest house, otherwise when Big Brother returns he’ll lose his temper again, I might get beaten up again. I’d rather be dead."

Luo Honglan, already suspecting Luo Zhiming of wrongdoing, now seeing him backed by Zhou Yuni yet still afraid to go up, voiced her suspicions, "Second Brother, did you do sothing wrong to Big Brother and Sister-in-law? Otherwise, why would Big Brother be so heartless."

"I..." If it was just harming Fang Pingying, Luo Zhiming might have admitted it, but last ti he hard the grandson Zhou Yuni cherished most. He knew if he confessed, Zhou Yuni might beat him to death even before Luo Zhiyong needed to say anything.

He imdiately shook his head, "No, I didn’t do anything."

Zhou Yuni, not suspecting anything else, grabbed Luo Zhiming, and said determinedly, "That settles it then. Since you haven’t done anything, just go upstairs and stay, when your elder brother returns, I’ll reason with him."

"I won’t go, Big Brother told not to. I’ll stay at the guest house, otherwise when Big Brother returns he will deal with ." After saying this, Luo Zhiming turned around and asked Luo Honglan for money, "Honglan, give so money. I’ll stay at the guest house." (To be continued.
