Xu He glanced at him, remained silent, but her eyes kept darting towards Luo Zhiyong.

After Luo Zhiyong passed by, Yu’er, who was originally sitting next to Fang Pingying, sensibly stood up and called out, "Brother Zhiyong, you sit here, so you can take care of your sister-in-law later."

Luo Zhongyong nodded and sat down next to Fang Pingying.

Fang Pingying smiled, glanced at him, and whispered in his ear, "Did you hesitate for a mont just now, regretting not having sat next to Xu He?"

Luo Zhiyong gave her a sideways glance, and said with a half-smile, "Who brought a jar of vinegar onto the train?"

Fang Pingying looked at him and motioned towards Xu He and Luo Zhiming sitting in front, "Look, how warmly your brother is chatting with soone. If you had gone there, the opportunity would have been yours."

Luo Zhiyong, from this angle, could exactly see how Luo Zhiming was smiling at Xu He, his expression darkened.

Rembering the smile Luo Zhiming had given Xu He just monts ago under the train, he clenched his teeth and said, "This Luo Zhiming, I think he’s being restless again."

Fang Pingying had already noticed it and whispered, "Talk to him; Xu He is not soone easy to ss with, and he can’t afford to offend her. Don’t end up trying without gaining anything, only to create a ss for yourself."

People like soldiers usually speak very formally and felt that Fang Pingying’s words were too much, glared at her, and chided, "Speak properly."

Fang Pingying glanced at him and pursed her lips with a smile.

As the group traveled by car to the county, then to the train station to buy tickets, and onto the train, Fang Pingying noticed sothing amusing.

She walked at the front, while Luo Zhiyong, worrying about her pregnancy and the crowded nature of the train station, followed closely behind taking care of her.

Then Xu He consistently followed behind Luo Zhiyong, occasionally calling him to ask so trivial matters, to which Luo Zhiyong barely responded.

Afollowing Xu He was Luo Zhiming, carrying his own luggage in one hand, and Xu He’s in the other.

In contrast, his own sister and cousin Yu’er had to carry their luggage themselves; Luo Zhiming didn’t even offer to help.

Walking next to Xu He, Luo Zhiming had a face mixed with a few parts eagerness to please and a few parts frustration.

The frustration stemd from no matter how much he tried to please Xu He, she remained lukewarm towards him, her eyes only fixed on Luo Zhiyong.

If Luo Zhiyong had any intentions towards Xu He, Luo Zhiming would have said nothing, but Luo Zhiyong clearly ignored Xu He, yet she still clung to him, giving Luo Zhiming a feeling of extre unfairness, even making him sowhat resentful towards Luo Zhiyong.

For Fang Pingying, she was no longer worried about the current situation.

In fact, before clarifying things between Xu He and Luo Zhiyong, she was worried that Luo Zhiyong might be chard by Xu He like in his previous life. Now that things were clear, Luo Zhiyong beca even more disgusted with Xu He, relieving her of worries.

However, seeing Luo Zhiming’s attentiveness towards Xu He, she had so concerns for Fang Xiu.

Fang Xiu, being rather naive, still thought Xu He was her good sister, not knowing when her "good sister" might mingle with her man and expose their affair.

After waiting for over two hours at the train station, the group boarded the train at noon.

The train was still crowded, but fortunately, they all had seat tickets this ti.

All seven of them sat together.

Fang Pingying sat on a three-seater, alongside Yu’er and Luo Honglan.

Xu He sat opposite them, with a seat still available next to her. This ti she had learned her lesson, knowing that Luo Zhiyong wouldn’t co over, and she stopped calling out.

In the end, it was Luo Zhiming who sat next to her, while Luo Zhiyong and Li Shunsheng took the seats next door.

Because she had woken up early and was pregnant, Fang Pingying felt tired and leaned against the inside, dozing off.

Sitting next to her, Luo Honglan and Yu’er both flopped down and almost fell asleep as soon as they got on the train; Fang Pingying, concerned about their safety on the train, kept herself awake, simply resting with her eyes closed.

Occasionally, she opened her eyes slightly to check for any thieves around, but each ti, she could see Luo Zhiming across from her pretending to be asleep, then subtly leaning his head on Xu He’s shoulder.

Xu He leaned against her seat without sleeping, an impatient look on her face, yet she didn’t push Luo Zhiming away; however, her gaze kept shifting towards Luo Zhiyong.

At first, Fang Pingying didn’t understand Xu He’s intentions, but after observing discreetly for a while, she suddenly realized.

Xu He was testing; she wanted to see from Luo Zhiyong’s expression and eyes whether Luo Zhiyong loved her, even if it was just a bit of concern, that would be good, to see if he would be jealous because of her and Luo Zhiming.

Unfortunately, Luo Zhiyong remained closed-eyed, resting, and didn’t pay attention to her at all.

Fang Pingying truly couldn’t fathom such people.

For instance, soone like Xu He, who was attractive and educated, and had a decent job in the provincial city; if she truly wanted a man, she could find any good man. Why on earth must she cling to Luo Zhiyong, a married man?

What exactly was she after? Did she really love him that much?

Could it be that when you love soone, you can disregard everything else, even forsake basic ethical and moral principles?

Knowing that he was married, even about to have a child, yet still fixating on him, what was the point?

For so reason, Xu He seed to sense Fang Pingying watching her and slowly opened her eyes, looking straight at Fang Pingying.

Fang Pingying did not avert her gaze either; she looked back at her with a smile that was not quite a smile.

Eventually, Xu He was the first to look away but did so after giving Fang Pingying a cold smile.

That kind of smile, in Fang Pingying’s view, was sowhat eerie.

It also reminded her, to not take Xu He lightly the next ti they t.

After several hours on the train, around nearly five in the afternoon, the group arrived in the provincial city.

Luo Zhiyong and others went straight to their shop.

Xu He wanted to follow Luo Zhiyong, but Luo Zhiyong didn’t pay her much attention. Luo Zhiming said it was unsafe for a girl alone, he took her belongings and let Luo Zhiyong and the others carry them back while he escorted Xu He to her workplace.

Seeing Luo Zhiming’s attentive behavior, Luo Zhiyong’s expression darkened, but the two had walked too far for Luo Zhiyong to call out to them.

Fang Pingying and her party returned to the shop, Fang Pingying took Luo Honglan and Yu’er to the shop, while Luo Zhiyong dropped Li Shunsheng at the hostel. As for the job arrangents, Fang Pingying didn’t specify, leaving it to Luo Zhiyong to decide.

Fang Pingying figured that even if Luo Zhiyong did help, he would likely arrange the sa as Luo Zhiming, asking Li Shunsheng to work at the lumber mill, which was so distance from the city anyway.

And as long as she kept an eye on Luo Honglan, there shouldn’t be any problems.

In fact, Li Shunsheng had proven quite reliable; he was kind to everyone and very diligent. During this journey, he almost insisted on carrying all their luggage by himself and seldom spoke.

If he did not marry Luo Honglan, he actually made a good friend or even a good neighbor. (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to vote, recomnd, and support. Mobile users please visit m.qidian to read.)
