Seeing that their family suddenly started quarreling out of nowhere, Fang Pingying and the others felt very awkward.

Since they were sowhat involved, they weren’t sure how to intervene.

But letting Cheng Fei go to work at her place was definitely out of the question.

Firstly, if Yu’er went over to help at their shop, they would have enough hands.

And with Yu’er there, he could eat and sleep with Luo Honglan, there would be no need to make new arrangents. If Cheng Fei went, he definitely couldn’t stay in the sa room with Luo Honglan, everything would have to start from scratch, including renting a place, which would be too much hassle and costly. No matter how you put it, it’s better for Yu’er to go.

Secondly, Cheng Fei can’t keep his mouth shut, and isn’t suited for the job there. He couldn’t even keep to his mother’s instructions, so if he went there, no telling what he might end up saying upon returning.

Moreover, Fang Pingying could even foresee that because he let this matter out, later when their family finds out about the dical expenses being covered by her, Zhou Yuni and the others would think they have a lot of money.

In the future, any ti the family needed money, they would rely on her, either that or they would definitely say things like, "You’re willing to help with money when uncle’s family is in trouble, but not when it cos to our family."

So, no matter how much Huang Yufen kicked up a fuss and made a scene, she wouldn’t agree.

However, it seed wrong to just walk away now, so she stood to one side without saying anything.

Luo Zhiyong and Luo Honglan, being relatively outsiders compared to uncle’s family, couldn’t say much about such a situation, plus they weren’t very familiar with Yufen, so it was difficult to step forward to persuade her.

Although Yufen was fierce, Qiu Xiu was no weaker. Hearing her actually threaten divorce over this matter, Qiu Xiu also beca angry, slamd her hand on the table, pointed at Yufen, "Huang Yufen, if you really want a divorce, then call your parents over tomorrow. If the Luo family even frowns, I’ll write my na backwards."

She paused, then continued, "Do you really think that our Luo family’s sons can’t find wives, and you’re threatening divorce over such a trivial matter? I’ll tell you, if I had known you were this kind of material before, even if my family couldn’t find a daughter-in-law, I wouldn’t have chosen you."

Yufen was scared by Qiu Xiu’s words. She didn’t really dare go through with the divorce; it was only ant as a threat.

When she initially married into the Luo family, her family was extrely happy.

Because Luo Dahu and his spouse were hardworking, their household was better off than average. Although Cheng Fei was a bit too gentle, he was tall and looked good. At that ti, there were quite a few people in the village who wanted to marry into such a family.

Let alone that she didn’t really want a divorce, even if she did, it’s likely her family wouldn’t agree.

Unable to intimidate Qiu Xiu and feeling embarrassed, she gave Cheng Fei a fierce glare and abruptly stood up from the kang bed to return to her room.

But as soon as she stood up, she suddenly exclaid "Ow!" and sat right back down.

Because Yufen often faked stomachaches at ho to frighten Yu’er during their argunts, whenever she cried out in pain, Yu’er would pout and say, "What now? Faking a stomachache again?"

This ti, however, Yufen wasn’t faking. She was actually going into labor, clutching at Cheng Fei’s hand, her face turned pale with pain, and she started shouting, "My stomach hurts, I think I’m going into labor."

Qiu Xiu, having been through this before, saw that her face didn’t look like she was pretending. She looked down at the kang where Yufen had been sitting and saw a wet patch. Realizing her water had broken, she imdiately shouted at Cheng Fei, "Hurry and go to the next village to call your mother-in-law, your wife is going into labor."

Cheng Fei responded and imdiately headed to his mother-in-law’s house in the neighboring village.

Fang Pingying was taken aback and asked Qiu Xiu, "Second Aunt, is she giving birth at ho?"

"Going to the hospital would be too late now, her pregnancy has always been stable, there shouldn’t be any big deal, let’s just have it at ho." After saying that, Qiu Xiu was still worried and called out to Luo Zhiyong, "Still, Zhiyong, could you please help to fetch the village doctor to have a look at her, just in case sothing happens."

Luo Zhiyong agreed and imdiately went out to summon soone.

Qiu Xiu then turned to Fang Pingying and said, "Pingying, can you go back and call your mom over to help?"

Luo Honglan, hearing this, hurried towards their house, "I’ll go call her."

Afterward, Qiu Xiu told Yu’er and Fang Pingying to help boil water, as much as possible.

Thus, the whole family got busy.

In the next room, Luo Dahu also heard the shouting and got up to ask.

Qiu Xiu quickly waved at him, "You should go back to rest, we’ll bring your grandson over to show you once he’s born, don’t end up needing us to take care of you."

Hearing about the birth of his grandson, Luo Dahu was also happy and went back right away.

Not long after, Zhou Yun and Luo Dashan had both hurried over.

Zhou Yuni, having been through such events, was not flustered. She went in and out steadily as Qiu Xiu, sweating profusely, was eagerly bustling about, and still managed to comfort Qiu Xiu with a smile, "Don’t worry, first births usually take so ti. I went through a lot of pain for a day and a night with each of the kids including Zhiyong, and in the end, they were all born just fine."

Qiu Xiu knew that as well, but childbirth was a major event, and it was impossible for her not to be anxious.

n weren’t allowed in during childbirth, and neither were won like Fang Pingying who hadn’t given birth before, so only Qiu Xiu and Zhou Yuni were inside.

Yu’er and Fang Pingying were boiling water in the kitchen. Yu’er, sowhat excited, said to Fang Pingying, "Sister-in-law, I’m going to have an aunt now."

Fang Pingying nodded and asked with a smile, "Do you want a nephew or a niece?"

"It doesn’t matter to , my parents, of course, would prefer a boy, but they didn’t make a big deal out of it, just said that for the first child, boy or girl, both are good," Yu’er replied with a shrug, "It’s just my sister-in-law, going on and on about sons every day, like she’s obsessed with the idea."

Fang Pingying felt that the relationship between Yu’er and Huang Yufen seed to be even worse than between Qiu Xiu and Luo Cuilan, like Mars colliding with Earth. She had stayed here for a while today, and the two had been arguing the whole ti, but clearly, if it really ca to it, Yu’er had the upper-hand over Yufen.

Except that Yu’er was simply hot-tempered but had a decent character, and she only couldn’t stand Yufen, being kind to everyone else.

Yufen, on the other hand, was selfish and greedy, always thinking about taking advantage of others.

Fang Pingying smiled and asked her, "Do you always argue with your sister-in-law at ho?"

"With soone like her, anyone who stays with her is out of luck," Yu’er began to vent to Fang Pingying, "She’s selfish, always trying to outmaneuver others. There’s actually only one son in our family, and if there’s anything in the house, it will eventually be left to them."

"My parents seem to be nice to , but how many people in the end would leave things to their daughters? But she’s always worried as if my parents would leave sothing to , speaks with thorns in her words, it’s impossible not to argue with her." (To be continued.
