Those accompanying Lu Yichen were either in police or military uniforms, each young man handso in his attire, which had the local young won watching in awe, their faces flushed with shy admiration, as they began to dream.
Lu Yichen, leading the group, arrived at the tightly closed front gate of the Luo family. Once there, he was challenged to showcase his talent before the door would open. To marry his bride, he sang a military song.
After he finished singing, Luo Jiayue shouted from inside, “Brother-in-law, tell us what you like about my sister?”
