Moreover, he’s now used to the little girl’s chatter beside him and has gotten into the habit of always thinking of bringing sothing back for her. Habits can really be a terrifying thing.
Luo Qiao couldn’t figure out why Jing Wanpeng and An Siyun ended up together, even after getting ho. She figured it was probably ant to be.
If they really do end up together, it wouldn’t be bad. An Siyun’s lively nature complents Jing Wanpeng’s temperant perfectly. Though there’s quite an age difference, people always say, "As long as there’s love in your heart, age isn’t a problem."
Besides, Jing Wanpeng has kept himself in great shape. He looks like he’s in his thirties; if you didn’t know him well, you wouldn’t guess his true age at all.
Lu Yichen walked in, only to see his wife lost in thought. He had taken a shower, but his wife was still lying on the bed, lost in her thoughts.
So he directly pressed down on her: "Qiao Bao, what are you thinking about, so engrossed?"
Luo Qiao gasped for breath under his sudden weight: "Are you trying to crush ?"
"Who’s to bla when you’re daydreaming and ignoring ?"
"Get off , I’m about to run out of breath."
"Then tell what you were just thinking about?"
Luo Qiao wrapped her arm around Lu Yichen’s neck, pulled him down, and gave him a kiss on the cheek: "I promised soone I wouldn’t tell you. You’ll find out in a few days. I was just so shocked, which is why I was lost in thought."
"What big secret can’t you tell ?"
"I promised not to tell you, and besides, if I tell you now, you’ll probably get tangled up. To spare you the trouble, I’m not telling you."
The more Lu Yichen listened, the more confused he beca, but his curiosity grew. They ended up playfully wrestling on the bed.
But before the questions could be answered, things started heating up, and naturally, the topic was forgotten. Only gasps and enchanting whispers could be heard: "Baby, give it to ."
The moon outside shyly hid behind the clouds, leaving only the two entwined on the bed inside, murmuring sweet things feverishly.

The next day, when Luo Qiao woke up, the other side of the bed was already empty. The kids had reverted to their previous schedule these days.
Luo Qiao checked the ti; it was already late.
Before she could get out of bed, Lu Yichen pushed open the door and ca in: "Qiao Bao, you’re awake?"
Luo Qiao softly replied, "Mm": "Where are the kids?"
Lu Yichen brought over Luo Qiao’s clothes: "Washing up in the front yard, they’re about to eat."
Walking to the bedside: "Want to lie down a bit more, or are you getting up now?"
Luo Qiao extended her arm to hug him: "I don’t have the energy to get up."
Lu Yichen grinned: "Qiao Bao wants to laze in bed?"
He slipped his hand under the covers: "Then I have to show my skills."
Luo Qiao laughed and dodged his hand. After they playfully ssed around for a bit, Lu Yichen finally said: "Alright, if you don’t get up now, the kids will be here any minute."
But Luo Qiao wouldn’t budge, Lu Yichen was helpless. His only choice was to indulge his woman; what else could he do? He picked up her clothes and helped her get dressed.
When they went to the front yard, breakfast was already on the table. Yanyan called out: "Mom, hurry up."
Luo Qiao responded with a smile: "Coming."
As soon as she sat down, Xiao Ye teased: "Mom, you’re becoming a sleepyhead, the last to wake up in the family."
Luo Qiao felt a bit embarrassed and discreetly reached out, pinching Lu Yichen hard on the thigh, causing him to grimace in pain but remain silent.
Astute Xiao Yu asked in confusion: "Dad, what’s wrong?"
Everyone looked over, and Luo Qiao, acting nonchalant, withdrew her hand and also turned to ask: "What’s wrong with you?"
Lu Yichen cleared his throat and lifted the spoon with porridge: "It’s nothing, the spoon was just a bit hot."
The kids believed him and didn’t question further, leaving Luo Qiao satisfied.
The old man sitting opposite chuckled. He was delighted to see the young couple’s affection.
Auntie Tang, peeling eggs for the kids nearby, was all smiles as well. Watching their interaction delighted her; even with five kids, their love was as strong as when they first wed, and she was genuinely happy for them.
