Then he found soone from the neighboring Workshop Five to relay a ssage to Gao Baozhu that soone was looking for him at the gate of Workshop Six.
Out of gratitude, Luo Qiao reached into her pocket for a handful of red dates to give as a thank-you gift; the old man kept saying she was too polite.
Gao Baozhu ca out in a hurry and saw Luo Qiao standing at the gate: “Luo Qiao, what brings you here?”
Luo Qiao saw that Gao Baozhu appeared to be in good spirits and asked, “Big Brother Gao, are you getting used to working at the factory?”
Gao Baozhu answered with a simple smile, “Pretty good. Working here is less tiring than farming back ho. Luo Qiao, thank you.”
Luo Qiao handed over the package prepared by Auntie Gao to Gao Baozhu: “Big Brother Gao, this is sothing Auntie Gao asked to bring you.”
Upon hearing that his mother had sent sothing over, Gao Baozhu’s face lit up with a smile.

After nodding her thanks, Luo Qiao took a seat on a stool in the office.
Not long after Ding Xiangdong left his office, a girl ca in. Seeing Luo Qiao sitting there, her initially smiling face instantly changed: “Who are you? Why are you here?”
Luo Qiao replied, “I’m here for Comrade Ding Xiangdong’s assistance.”
Having said that, Luo Qiao chose not to say anything further, but the girl asked, “What are you looking for him for?”

The girl was taken aback and said, “Why should I tell you?”

Luo Qiao thought to herself that she must’ve picked the wrong day to co out, as she seed to have encountered people who were a few sandwiches short of a picnic today.
Luo Qiao said, “If you’re not a staff mber here, do I need to answer your questions?”
The girl warned, “I’m telling you, keep your distance from Ding Xiangdong, or don’t bla for not being polite.”
Luo Qiao frowned and said, “I’m just here to ask for Comrade Ding Xiangdong’s help through soone’s introduction. May I ask on what grounds you’re warning ?”
The girl asked, “Who introduced you to him?”
Luo Qiao felt that this girl was pretty annoying, not knowing when to stop.
She thought it would be better to go down to the lobby on the first floor and ask the staff there rather than wasting her ti with this girl here.
So she stood up and headed towards the door. The girl, thinking Luo Qiao must be guilty of sothing, grabbed her arm: “You haven’t clarified things yet, you can’t leave.”
Now Luo Qiao beca angry and shook off the girl’s hand, retorting, “Do you have sothing wrong with your brain?”
