The two daughters practicing their musical instrunts in the backyard ca over and sat opposite them. Yanyan picked up a slice of waterlon: "Mom, have the boys been enrolled yet?"
Luo Qiao nodded: "They’ll start classes tomorrow afternoon, and they’ll go every other day."
Luo Qiao looked at her two daughters: "How about you two? Do you think there’s enough ti for activities after class?"
Yueyue replied: "It’s fine; the ti in between is enough for us to deal with our personal matters."
"That’s good. You’re still young, there’s no need to push yourselves so hard."
"Mom, don’t worry. The two of us like music and instrunts. It’s not passive studying for us; we find learning enjoyable. We’re really happy."
"That’s good. As long as you enjoy it, Mom is reassured."
The three little ones shouted at their two older sisters: "Big sisters, co over here. Let’s play dodgeball."
The couple watched their kids play happily. Lu Yichen reached out and held Luo Qiao’s hand resting on the table. They exchanged a smile.
Luo Qiao brought up the matter with Stone: "Should we take the initiative to handle this, or wait for the Ning Family to co knocking?"
Lu Yichen replied calmly: "Let’s let it take its course. If they dare to co to us, we’ll settle it all at once."
Luo Qiao glanced at the joyful children: "I’m just worried they might bother Stone."
Lu Yichen chuckled: "They probably wouldn’t dare."
Luo Qiao looked over: "Why not?"
Lu Yichen smiled indulgently: "Because the person who helped them last ti got demoted. Plus, I had soone spread the word to them. I reckon the Ning Family is in a complete ss right now."
Luo Qiao broke into laughter: "Nice job."
She quickly gave Lu Yichen a kiss on the cheek: "That’s your reward."
Lu Yichen, worried the kids might look over, didn’t dare to react, but he squeezed Luo Qiao’s hand tight: "You little rascal, don’t think that’s enough; what a half-hearted attempt."
Afraid the kids might overhear, Luo Qiao abruptly shifted the topic: "Do you know any decent lawyers?"
Lu Yichen imdiately knew what she ant: "Shen Juan wants to file a lawsuit?"
Luo Qiao smiled faintly: "How did you know I’m looking for one for Shen Juan?"
Seeing that the kids weren’t paying attention to them, Lu Yichen pulled her into his arms. Luo Qiao struggled to break free when she heard Lu Yichen whisper in her ear: "Don’t move, or the kids will mock you if they see."
Luo Qiao almost laughed in exasperation: "You really always have a reason for everything."
Lu Yichen fed her a piece of dried apple: "She’s the only one around you who might need to file a lawsuit."
Leaning against Lu Yichen’s chest, Luo Qiao said: "Getting married to a man like that, what a hassle."
Lu Yichen affectionately kissed her forehead: "You must’ve had good luck to have snagged such a treasure like ."
Luo Qiao straightened up and looked at Lu Yichen. She reached out and pinched his cheek: "Your skin really is thick."
After saying that, she took advantage of Lu Yichen letting down his guard and jumped out of his embrace, running toward the kids: "I’ll play dodgeball with you all."
The little ones cheered excitedly: "Okay! Okay!"
Luo Qiao directly handed over the task of finding a lawyer to Lu Yichen. Although her company had lawyers, she worried they might not specialize in this type of case.

After Stone and Taifeng returned from Dabai Village, Luo Qiao adjusted her work schedule to prepare to accompany Stone on a visit to Qingshan Village. She hadn’t gone back in years.

Driving back to the village would take a full day. Luo Qiao made a call to Huo Yuhao in advance. Previously, Huo Haoyu had already bought the housing at the old Qingshan Village sent-down youth site and rebuilt it with new buildings.
Huo Yuhao said he had left several rooms on the upper floors that could accommodate them. Luo Qiao thought since they were going back anyway, they might as well stay in the village for two or three days.
Having that house ant they wouldn’t need to trouble anyone else in the village for accommodations.
