After returning for a short rest, Luo Qiao threw herself back into the intense workload.
Coming out of the lab that day, she unexpectedly encountered Emily at the entrance of the building.

Emily said with a light smile, “I’m really sorry for waiting for you here without notice.”

Emily glanced around: “Shall we go to a café outside the school and talk slowly, how about that?”

At the café, they each ordered a coffee they liked.

Luo Qiao began: “I previously provided dicine as a gift because Kevin is my daughter’s classmate, and as mothers, we are all concerned for our children and I wanted to offer him a helping hand.

Life returned to normal, Yanyan and Yueyue resud their kindergarten lives, but now they had a few extra extracurricular classes. Luo Qiao didn’t let these take up their weekends but arranged with the kindergarten to attend one less day per week.
She had previously had them learn piano to improve their musical literacy. Now they were enrolled in dance and martial arts classes—dance to improve poise and martial arts to strengthen and protect themselves. These were activities Yanyan and Yueyue had chosen after discussing with Luo Qiao.
For this, Luo Qiao even specially renovated a dance room at ho for them. It was spacious enough for martial arts practice as well and beca Yanyan and Yueyue’s private domain.
As for the piano, it was placed in the room the sisters shared, ready for practice at any ti.

As days passed, one day after leaving school, Luo Qiao noticed soone following her. Instead of driving, she walked straight towards ho.
At the first intersection, Luo Qiao took a turn and then imdiately pinned the follower to the ground: “Tell , why have you been following ?”
The person struggled a bit: “Let go, I wasn’t following you, I have errands to run ahead.”
Luo Qiao took out a silver needle and pricked his laughing acupoint: “If you don’t talk, you’ll keep laughing.”

That evening, after returning ho, Luo Qiao called Lu Yichen as usual and went through the day’s events with him, asking for his help in further investigating the Soukai family.
Yanyan and Yueyue talked with their dad on the phone for a while, and the three little ones ca over to the receiver and shouted: “Miss Daddy.”
Watching the three little ones with their butts sticking out, Luo Qiao couldn’t help but smile.
