It wasn’t long before footsteps echoed, and a group of people made their way up to the second floor, among them was Kong Xiangrui.

However, as they arrived and saw the scene before them, they all froze in place.

Kong Xiangrui, upon seeing his uncle and aunt-in-law standing there with unpleasant expressions, felt his heart skip a beat. Could it be that soone in the building deliberately stirred up trouble?

But his uncle had co before and had ostentatiously taken care of Chief Bai’s family mber; surely the people in the building wouldn’t intentionally make things uncomfortable.

He hastened his pace and asked, "Second Brother, Second Sister-in-law, what happened here?"

Luo Qiao glanced at him; she had previously thought well of Xiangrui, but now looking at him felt sowhat displeased.

She asked indifferently, "Whose wife is the woman on the ground?"

Feng Qin was blocked by people standing to the side, and those present on the staircase had not yet noticed her on the ground.

At this mont, Chief Bai saw his wife sitting on the ground and couldn’t save face, stepping forward to ask, "What happened to you?"

Feng Qin burst into tears, "Old Bai, you must stand up for . Director Kong’s aunt-in-law hit ."

Chief Bai understood in his heart; surely they wouldn’t have hit soone for no reason. His wife must have been unable to hold her tongue and said sothing inappropriate again.

Luo Qiao spoke up, "That’s right, I did hit her, but that’s because she deserved it."

Then she looked at Feng Qin, "Repeat exactly what you said earlier to your husband, without missing a single word."

Feng Qin found it hard to open her mouth, remaining silent with her head down.

At that mont, Luo Qiao turned to the woman who had been defending Feng Qin earlier, "You, say it."

The look in her eyes was truly frightening; the woman, fearing Luo Qiao’s retaliation, stuttered through repeating everything Feng Qin had said earlier.

She said more than Luo Qiao had heard because she didn’t know how much Luo Qiao had caught, so she repeated all Feng Qin’s words.

Now, everyone present changed their expressions, especially the n.

This was a challenge to the authority of Director Kong.

Xiangrui was the first to react; his uncles had ended up having thoughts about him because of these family mbers’ words. He knew what Feng Qin’s intentions were and had distanced himself from this family thereafter.

Yet he had not expected that she would always slander Yiting behind his back; anger surged within him.

He had just arrived to take over the job, hoping to adapt quickly; he had been very busy, later preoccupied with attracting investnt, truly neglectful, "Chief Bai, do you have a problem with ? Do you and your wife intend to ddle in my family affairs?"

Chief Bai’s forehead was now covered in dense sweat, "Director, no, please hear out."

Xiangrui was harboring a belly full of anger at this point; his own wife had suffered so much right under his nose, and he had been unaware, with the Yue Family discovering it first, making him look incapable and indifferent towards his wife.

And obviously today, his aunt-in-law’s look towards him was not right; even worse than the last ti he saw his uncles. This matter had to be handled properly.

So, without giving Chief Bai a chance to explain further, "I really didn’t expect you and your wife to be so bold, idling away with nothing better to do than trying to break up others’ hos. First, take care of your own household matters before coming back to work."

He continued, "The residential compound needs to be peaceful. Handle your matters without disturbing the residents’ rest. Once it’s resolved, write a self-criticism with over a thousand words, apologize to the families you’ve hurt, and when you’ve received their forgiveness, then co back to work; otherwise, you might as well seek employnt elsewhere."

As these words ca out, Chief Bai wished he could strangle Feng Qin.

The Director’s words were clear to him; if he didn’t resolve it well, it ant losing his position and his future prospects.

Feng Qin in this residential compound had never been short of causing trouble, fabricating countless rumors. Now hearing Director Kong’s words, those families that had been hurt by Feng Qin couldn’t feel more gratified.

Xiangrui turned around, "Second Brother, Second Sister-in-law, let’s head back."

Feng Qin, seeing Xiangrui ready to leave, decided to go all out, "No, you can’t go. She just hit ; she can’t just walk away like this. She has to compensate ."

Luo Qiao laughed oddly, "If you want compensation, there must be a reason for it. Where are your injuries? Show everyone, co on, reveal them."

Feng Qin didn’t expect him to be so shaless, "In this cold winter, do you an to have strip in front of everyone?"

Luo Qiao sneered, "If you go to the hospital, could the doctor treat you without you disrobing?"

Then, seeing a lady standing behind, "Madam, hello, could you please help by taking a few people to check her injuries inside? If there are new injuries from today, it’s okay, she’ll be compensated whatever is due. If not, or if there are only old injuries, sorry, but I’m not a sucker here."
