Zhai Yuquan was sowhat angry as he said, "It hasn’t been that long. Where is the person who repeatedly claid to like my sister? I didn’t expect soone’s heart to change this fast. If I rember correctly, you once said that you liked everything about my sister. You’re such a hypocritical man."
Ji Wei looked at him: "Even if I liked her before, didn’t I still get played for a fool by her? You said it yourself, that was in the past."
Zhai Hongwei initially wanted to say a few soft words and plead with Ji Wei to look past it for his sake and go see Yu Yuan. But he saw disgust in Ji Wei’s eyes and feared that not only was it for Yu Yuan, but he probably detested the Zhai Family as well.
He couldn’t help but think of a saying, when you love soone, all their traits are virtues, but once you fall out of love, everything becos a flaw. Now, in Ji Wei’s heart, there was probably nothing left for Yu Yuan but disdain.
With a complicated look in his eyes, he said, "Sorry for putting you in a difficult position. We’ll leave now."
They had just turned to leave when Ji Lin walked out of the kitchen: "I’ve agreed, but Ji Wei and I will go together."
Zhai Yuquan was about to say sothing but was stopped by Zhai Hongtao: "Okay, thank you."
After everyone left, Ji Wei shut the door: "Why did you agree to them?"
Ji Lin wrapped her arms around Ji Wei’s neck: "Ah Wei, I’m sorry for agreeing without discussing it with you first. I did it to show respect for Zhai Hongtao as a father. But I’m also curious, why does Yu Yuan want to see you?
Anyway, no matter why she wants to see you or what she wants to talk about, you are my husband now, legally too, so I’m not worried that she could whisk you away."
"What are you talking about? My heart and eyes only have you in them, don’t believe ? Take a look."
Ji Lin looked down and her face flushed red: "You big hooligan."
With that, she turned and ran back into the kitchen.
Ji Wei laughed from behind: "The more I look, the cuter you get."
He followed her into the kitchen, laughing, and then hugged her from behind: "Linzi, feeling shy?"
Ji Lin tried to hide her embarrassnt: "Are you still eating or not? It’ll be dark soon."
Ji Wei took the knife from her hand, genuinely worried she might accidentally hurt herself.
Turning her around to face him, he said: "Linzi, perhaps the past liking for Yu Yuan was out of habit, a deeply ingrained habit since childhood. But after eting you, I realized that liking is different from loving.
I’m actually very grateful that Yu Yuan did not like . That day, with her sches, she led to you, and I ca to understand the difference between liking and loving. It always feels like maybe it’s fate, the destiny ant for us. I’ll always be good to you, believe , okay?"
On this visitation day, Ji Lin and her husband went to the prison together. When Yu Yuan saw Ji Lin was there, her face turned ugly: "What are you doing here?"
"I ca to see you, and also to bring you so wedding candies to thank you for bringing Ah Wei and together."
Ji Lin’s words angered Yu Yuan. She turned to Ji Wei: "Are you just going to watch her bully ?"
"Has she bullied you? What did she say that was wrong?"
"How could you marry soone else? Didn’t you say you would take care of for a lifeti?"
"Well, weren’t you the one who insisted on divorce, using sches for it? I’m just granting your wish. Thank you for bringing Ji Lin into my life; now I’m very happy."
Yu Yuan never expected Ji Wei to actually marry Ji Lin. How could her own luck be so bad, unable to get the person she liked, and the person who liked her ended up giving her away.
Suddenly, she broke down and started wailing loudly, and the guards quickly ca to take her away.
The Zhai family had not previously told her about Ji Wei’s marriage. Zhai Hongtao was there today as well, but he didn’t co inside. He actually held so grudges against his daughter for bringing disaster upon the entire Zhai family.
That’s why he let only Ji Wei and his wife co in; he wanted his daughter to stop fantasizing, to not expect an easy life after release and to prevent her from making foolish mistakes again. He also wanted her to realize the extent of her errors.
He hoped she would reflect on herself during these years in prison and live a good life after release.

Today, Luo Qiao requested leave from her professor because the kindergarten was having a parent-child event, taking place in Boston Park. She and He Qing planned to accompany the two little ones there.
The parent-child events of the day were indeed interesting: a parent-child two-person race, the fastest caterpillar challenge, hopping contests for the fastest kangaroo baby, and even a water activity called Monkey Fishing for the Moon.
Coincidentally, it was the first birthday of the three little ones today. Yanyan and Yueyue said that they would treat today’s parent-child event as their brother’s birthday celebration and they would have a lot of full-hearted fun.
