As soon as she entered the laboratory, Steven and Emma rushed over.
Emma smiled brightly, “Luo, what’s all this?”
Luo Qiao took a big bag out from inside: “These are for everyone.”
Then, carrying a few other bags, she said: “These are prepared by my family for the professor. In China, we call these festival gifts, for my teacher.”
Professor Wilson was coming out from inside, childlike: “Don’t fight with over them.”
Everyone burst into laughter.
Professor Wilson’s wife was very fond of Chinese culture, especially the food, and she had ntioned before that she wanted to visit Luo Qiao’s ho.
However, there just hasn’t been ti and opportunity.
Professor Wilson put away the gifts, then ca back out carrying two bags with four bottles of red wine: “Luo, this is a festival gift from my wife to you, she really loves Chinese food.”

Steven laughed as he looked at Emma: “We could be too.”
Emma, catching on, exclaid: “Oh my gosh, what are you talking about, that’s not funny at all.”
With that, she turned and ran off.
Leaving Steven alone, he watched Emma run into the distance, thinking, have I not made it obvious enough?
