"So," Aria said, standing by the garden's railing, without looking at lisa. "You found sothing."
[Yeah, I found out so of my dumbass people are planning to blow up half the city,] lisa thought, shifting uncomfortably.
Her ass was still sore from last night's activities, which made standing at attention sowhat challenging.
"I did. Though..." lisa hesitated. "This isn't exactly easy to talk about."
"Because you were spying on your own people?"
[Because I fucked the sister of one of the ringleaders.]
lisa shifted uncomfortably.
"Well, look," lisa cleared her throat. "They're planning sothing big. Or, I guess, multiple big things. Multiple coordinated attacks. I saw maps with guard rotations marked, key locations circled - the academy, warehouse district, noble quarter..."
Aria turned to look at her, eyes widening slightly.
"And you're certain about this?"
"Unless they regularly gather to look at maps and talk about 'making the humans pay' for fun, yeah, pretty certain."
Aria drumd her fingers on the railing, thinking.
"So," lisa continued, "are you-"
"The problem," she said finally, cutting lisa off, "is that without concrete proof, any action I take will look like persecution. Mass arrests of nim would only validate their grievances."
[She's got a point.]
"Whereas," Aria kept going, "doing nothing about this would only allow anger and resentnt toward nim to continue to fester. To the point where the people of Syux would probably start doing worse things than anything even I could do."
lisa didn't have to be in so sort of leadership role to see the proverbial rock and hard place that Aria was stuck between.
Indeed, squashing this little resistance with an iron fist would only turn the nim criminals into martyrs. Especially considering that there are, in fact, valid grievances there that the nim are acting out because of. But, letting this cri wave continue would eventually force the humans, kitsune, and even darians of Syux into a position where they feel they have to take matters into their own hands.
lisa wouldn't know what to do about this. Aria, however, apparently had the answer.
"Is it possible for you to keep investigating?" She asked. lisa scratched her head, thinking about it.
"I an, I already got in once. And Vira, the sister of one of the ringleaders, seed interested in seeing again."
Aria nodded slowly.
"In that case, I believe the best course of action is right in front of ," she smiled. "There are multiple problems at hand; the legitimate criticisms of Syux the nim have, the long-ti hatred between nim and humans, and the violent criminals. The first one, I can deal with myself. The second can only be dealt with in ti. But, the third..."
"I can handle that one myself, is what you're thinking?"
"Well, maybe not handle entirely on your own," Aria replied. "But... Perhaps you could hamper their operations enough to where I can solve the matter quietly. Understand?"
[Ahhh, I get it. The only way martyrs won't be born from the defeat of those criminals is if they... fall off the face of the earth randomly, or sothing. And, I'm the one who can make that happen.]
It felt... a bit shady, to be sure. But, lisa had a hard ti arguing against this course of action.
So, inevitably, her answer was:
"Yeah, I think I could do that."
"Splendid," Aria replied, with the kind of bright smile only a princess could produce. "Let's put our heads together for this, then."

Later...
[So I just have to seduce a hot girl while planning to maybe murder her brother and, maybe, all of her brother's friends... Am I the baddie?] lisa thought as she walked ho.
Her brain felt several tis heavier as she walked down the street, head low as the words she exchanged with the princess marinated in her mind.
[I an, no pressure. Totally normal spy shit. Just another day of eating pussy and plotting assassinations.]
The streets of Syux were busy with afternoon traffic, but lisa barely noticed. Her mind was too full of maps and guard rotations and the way Vira's tongue had felt between her legs and the potential of turning into an ani villain.
Not to ntion the way her brother's scarred face had looked when he interrupted their fun.
[Probably shouldn't be thinking too much about Vira, though. Murder plans first, horny thoughts later, that sort of thing. Though maybe I should fuck her again before potentially orphaning her? Is that ethical? Is there an etiquette guide for fucking soone before killing their family mber?]
The problem was, she'd never actually murdered anyone before.
To be clear, she'd killed lots of people by now. Mostly Shadow Mages of course, who'd been planning to assassinate her in back alleys and didn't realize just how out of their depth they were until they were turning into ashes as lisa shouted "ilumi nerca var fal!" over and over again. But, that was self-defense.
She hadn't *murdered* soone before, which this absolutely was. Deliberately planning to make people "disappear" was different.
Though, at the sa ti...
[I don't feel *that* conflicted about this, all things considered.] Her face darkened montarily. [Probably because they literally tried to kill my whole family just a few days ago.]
With that event fresh in her mind, it was hard to feel much of anything toward these criminals. Sure, again, she completely understood why they were doing the things they were doing. But, they'd gone too far.
[I guess this is where having an ex-assassin girlfriend cos in handy, huh?]
Speaking of which...
A while later, as she arrived back at the academy, she found Raven in their dorm room, reading a book on her bed.
The forr assassin looked up as lisa entered, offering one of those tiny smiles that made lisa's heart do backflips. Though, her lips were still slightly swollen from last night's activities.
[Gods, she's cute when she's not covered in kitsune cum. Though she was pretty hot then too... No, focus! Murder plans now, rembering how hot she looked with Isabella's cock down her throat later.]
"Hey babe," lisa said casually, flopping onto the bed beside her. "Quick question. If you hypothetically had to assassinate so nim again, how would you do it?"
Raven blinked.
"... What?"
"You know, hypothetically. For academic purposes. Like if you heard so nim was planning to kill and you wanted to make them quietly disappear, how would you do it?"
When lisa put it that way, Raven's face changed instantly.
She looked away.
"There are too many things I'd do to just tell them all to you right now, in that case."
[Whoa.]
"Go ahead," lisa got on her side, head propped onto her elbow. "I wanna hear 'em."
Raven put her book down with a sigh.
"Very well."
