Chapter 807: Chapter 806: What a Coincidence!

Shao Chengzhi took a few bites of food and suddenly said, “Xingbang! I need to go to the bathroom!”

“Okay! Dad! I’ll go with you!” Shao Xingbang stood up and helped Shao Chengzhi.

Once the two had walked away, Shao ifang glanced at Lin Xia who was eating with her head down and secretly pursed her lips.

Shao ifang leaned towards Shao irou beside her and whispered, “Sis! Look at how scheming that Liang Wei is! We just said a couple of words to her, and she could incite Xingbang to turn against us and cut ties. Later, she even made our dad so angry…

Today, our whole family went out for a al and were supposed to be happy. She brought her kid and just had to appear, of course Xingbang would have thoughts about it!”

Although she sat in her seat, she could see their expressions and body language outside, and could guess that her younger brother was in great pain.

When her younger brother returned to the table looking distracted, it made her even more alard.

What if the appearance of Liang Wei and her son reignited the thoughts he had decided to let go of?!

Shao irou still retained reason, “It’s all a coincidence! No one expected to et them!”

“I think she still has ideas!”

Shao ifang then looked at Lin Xia, cleared her throat, and asked, “Lin Xia! Is your factory not working today?”

Lin Xia replied indifferently, “No, I gave the workers a day off!”

Shao ifang clicked her tongue twice, “No wonder! I was wondering how we could run into each other while having a al. It’s quite a coincidence!”

Lin Xia, hearing the insinuations in her words, imdiately looked displeased, “Auntie! What do you an by that?”

Lin Dong also looked at Shao ifang with an unkind expression.

Given the in-laws of his elder sister, he had kept a close eye on them, but it was always this particular aunt who was full of problems.

Shao ifang shrugged, “I an what I said! With such a big city, how did we happen to et by chance?”

She didn’t believe it was just a coincidence!

Liang Wei worked in Lin Xia’s factory, they seed to get along well, who knew if Lin Xia had a hand in this encounter?

“How should I know?” Lin Xia asked angrily, “Grandpa decided to eat out on a whim, how could I inform anyone?”

What did Shao ifang take her for?

“Exactly! ifang! Dad decided to eat out on a whim, eting soone in a large provincial city isn’t surprising.” Shao irou gave Shao ifang a warning look, “ifang! Just eat! Let little brother handle his own business, don’t you think there’s enough chaos in our family?”

Shao ifang imdiately put on an unhappy face, “Sis! I’m just thinking about what’s best for the family!”

As soon as she finished speaking, Shao Chengzhi’s voice sounded behind her, “Explain to how this is best for the family?”

It turned out that Shao Chengzhi had been helped back to his seat by Shao Xingbang.

He Jinhui and the others sitting opposite Shao ifang saw it all. He Jinhui wanted to remind Shao ifang, but she wasn’t paying attention.

Shao ifang imdiately fell silent and didn’t dare to say another word.

“Nothing! Dad! You’re back! Let’s eat! The food has gone cold!”

The al ended hastily, and everyone went their separate ways.

After returning ho, Shao Xingbang couldn’t relax and waited until the old man and Lu Pengcheng had both gone to rest in their rooms.

He quietly went to find Lin Xia.

Lin Xia had just coaxed her two children to sleep and was about to take a nap herself.

When she heard the knock on the door, she hurried to open it, only to see that it was Shao Xingbang and not her brother Lin Dong.

“Uncle?” Lin Xia looked puzzled.

Shao Xingbang got straight to the point, “Lin Xia! Wenfeng found out I won’t be his father anymore, he ran off in anger, and I don’t know if Liang Wei has found him! Can you call and check for ?”

He was very worried; if anything happened to them because of him, he wouldn’t be able to forgive himself.

But he couldn’t make the call himself, so he ca to find Lin Xia.

“Alright! I’ll call imdiately!” Lin Xia got anxious as she didn’t know what was said, only seeing Shao Xingbang grabbing Cheng Wenfeng’s neck and saying sothing, after which the boy ran off and Liang Wei chased after.

When Shao Xingbang returned to the table, there hadn’t been any opportunity to ask about it.

Lin Xia called the factory and asked if Liang Wei and her son had returned.

Upon learning they had returned to the factory, Lin Xia was relieved, and so was Shao Xingbang.

A few days later, Lin Xia finally welcod Lu Zheng back.

Lu Zheng had been so busy with his business trip these days, but now that he was done, he could co back to see his family and prepare to attend his sister-in-law Lin Qiu’s wedding soon.

When Lu Zheng returned ho, Lin Xia hadn’t co back yet.

Shao Chengzhi and Lu Pengcheng were particularly happy to see him return.

“Pengcheng! Watch the kids! I’ll cook!” Shao irou wanted to team up with the nanny to prepare so of her son’s favorite dishes.

“Okay! Make sothing delicious!” Looking after the kids was Lu Pengcheng’s daily routine, and he enjoyed it imnsely.

The two kids were very fond of him, calling him grandpa all the ti, which made him very happy.

“No problem!” Shao irou cheerfully went to the kitchen.

Lu Zheng stayed with them in the living room, chatting and learning about his grandpa’s recent hospitalization and discharge.

“Grandpa, how’s your health now? Are you still uncomfortable anywhere?”

Shao Chengzhi smiled and waved his hand, “No, I feel much better now!”

“I rember you were in good health the last ti I was ho, what happened that you got sick?” Lu Zheng was puzzled because since his and Lin Xia’s kids were born, the old man had been very conscious about his health.

Even dicine, which used to need coaxing, was now taken actively and enthusiastically.

“It’s just that I got emotionally agitated!” Shao Chengzhi knew that even if he didn’t say it, once his granddaughter-in-law returned, she would tell his grandson the details.

So, he decided to tell him himself and have a chat.

“Here’s what happened…”

Lu Zheng listened quietly to his grandpa’s recount of the whole incident, his brows furrowing and his expression turning grim.

He hadn’t expected his mother and aunt to seek out Liang Wei.

But upon reflection, it wasn’t all that surprising.

Back when he brought Lin Xia ho to et the family, hadn’t his mother and aunt gone to Lin Xia’s hotel?

Shao Chengzhi noticed the change in Lu Zheng’s eyes, “Xiaozheng, I know your mother and aunt were wrong, I’ve already scolded them. Their intention was for your uncle’s good… How could he and Liang Wei be together? Things would get too ssy.”
