“Thank you!” Ji Man dabbed at her tears with the back of her hand.
Shao irou placed the tray on the bedside table, and standing by the bed, she sighed lightly, “Ji Man! I’m much older than you! We have t before, so let say a few extra words. Matters of the heart can’t be forced; it’s better to let them take their natural course!”
Her feelings towards Ji Man were complicated, and she was strongly against her becoming her sister-in-law, but seeing her cry like this, as a woman, she felt sowhat sympathetic.
Mockery swirled in Ji Man’s downcast eyes, but when she looked up again, she displayed a grateful expression, “I know! Thank you! I’m just having a little trouble accepting it right now. After all, before… Ah, let’s not talk about it anymore!”
