His sharp gaze and the wailing scene around them frightened the gang leader. Even gangsters were people. They only bugged ordinary people. They were equally scared when facing real tough guys.
With trembling hands, he took out his phone and dialed a number. As soon as the call went through, he imdiately cried out, “Director Gu, help. I’m Liu Xinchun from Wealth Circle Company. Upon entering, he took in the gangsters lying on the ground and asked, “Who did this?”

As soon as his words fell, Director Gu looked up, but his gaze froze as he caught sight of Nie Zhenbang. Shocked, his face dripping with cold sweat, he stood motionless, unable to utter a word.
The face before him was one that stunned Director Gu. Though his rank wasn’t high enough to personally et this man, Director Gu had a habit of watching the news on Liangxi TV Station. He believed it would help him understand changes in the district and the city from the news, so he was quite familiar with so of the city’s leaders.
Seeing Huang Xuyang beside him and knowing that Huang Xuyang worked at the city governnt’s secretariat, he could more or less guess what was going on.
Nie Zhenbang was also observing Director Gu, seeing the changes in him. At this point, it was not aningful to press further. This man already knew his identity. He wouldn’t be able to draw out any more information.
