Shen Jing beca anxious imdiately, "Do you know what it ans to be the Chairman of the O League? You bumpkin!"

In his heart he thought Dong Mao was not stupid, and he certainly was not either. He couldn’t let the President be ridiculed like that. He was about to go and tip off the President’s office when the elevator on the side dinged, and Shen Zhixi arrived.

Dong Mao looked calm, "Mr. Shen, the master has been waiting for you for quite so ti."

The secretary pushed Shen Zhixi forward, and suddenly realized that Dong Mao’s words held a deeper aning.

Waiting for them for a long ti? How did he know they would co?

But before he could figure it out, the two of them had already reached the President’s office.

The double doors opened, and the man seated in the President’s chair, with his back to them, slowly turned around.

Seeing the visitor, he showed no surprise, and even a very satisfied expression.

He nodded his chin toward the seat in front of his desk, "Please sit."

Shen Zhixi also sensed sothing off, but with everything ready, there was no possibility of a mistake. Heavenly Dao was always proud; maybe it was just a bluff.

He wheeled his chair next to the seat, noticing a computer set right in front of him, the screen showing the result page of the O League application.

The interface was in a minor language, which he understood.

The clock in the bottom right showed 9:59, one minute until they could see the result.

Shen Zhixi scoffed, "You anticipated I would co?"

Jiang Xuan spread his hand in affirmation.

Shen Zhixi was not surprised; he knew Heavenly Dao would recognize his identity sooner or later, but that did not affect his desire to see Heavenly Dao’s embarrassed look.

As the clock jumped to 10:00 sharp, Jiang Xuan said, "Since you’re here, would Mr. Shen mind checking the result for ?"

"It seems President Jiang is very confident," Shen Zhixi felt inexplicably irritable, grabbed the computer, and put it directly on his lap, "Fine, then I will help President Jiang check."

He first verified Jiang Group’s corporate number in the search bar and clicked confirm after making sure it was correct.

Dong Mao quietly locked the office door behind them.

Normally, web pages on foreign networks would display very slowly, but Jiang Xuan’s computer was special; it refreshed the page almost instantly. Shen Zhixi did not look and directly placed the computer back on the desk, turning the screen toward Jiang Xuan.

He was annoyed that the man always seed at ease, no matter the situation, trying to provoke him with as thorny words as possible, "Unfortunately, the O League is not for just anyone. It seems Jiang Group’s scale is far from the standard. President Jiang might be overestimating himself..."

"You..." Shen Jing wanted to step forward but was tily stopped by Dong Mao.

Shen Zhixi’s words only agitated Shen Jing, as Jiang Xuan calmly looked at the screen turned towards him, his long fingers touching his chin, "I rember a green page... ans approval, right?"

Shen Zhixi said sarcastically, "Of course, it’s a pity that yours is a red page, not approved."

"Hmm?" Jiang Xuan said in confusion, "Could it be that Mr. Shen is colorblind? What I see... is green."

A chill ran through Shen Zhixi’s heart as the secretary quickly turned the computer screen back to him.

A mocking shade of green full of vitality filled his view, and both n beca petrified.

The minor language clearly indicated: Jiang Group is hereby specially approved to enter the O League effective imdiately!

Shen Zhixi’s narrow eyes showed hints of purplish-blue scales, his knuckles white from the tension, he couldn’t believe what he saw, frantically refreshing the page.

But every refresh showed the sa result!

Shen Jing, entirely baffled, turned towards Dong Mao, and then a smile blood on his face.

Overjoyed, elation written all over his face.

Shen Zhixi nearly bit his lips until they bled, confronting the gaze shot his way, "Could it be... you really know the Chairman of the O League?"

No other explanation ca to mind.

Why would yesterday’s sealed decision be overturned today?

The secretary hurriedly dialed Mr. Smith’s number, only to find the line had been switched off.

Jiang Xuan’s hand lightly rested on the arms of the President’s chair, his eyes narrowing slightly, "Pretty much."

Shen Zhixi slamd his fist onto the wheelchair, nearly hysterical, "Then why did Jiang Group only enter the O League now?"

Shen Jing wanted to ask the sa question!

Jiang Xuan replied, "To avoid conflict of interest, understand?"

"Conflict of interest?" Shen Zhixi completely failed to grasp his aning, "What conflict are you avoiding? Don’t joke with , you are not a man without ambition."

Right then, a phone rang. Jiang Xuan glanced at the desk.

The ringing was not from the cellphone on the desk but from another one hidden in the drawer.

That phone rarely rang, maybe not even a few tis a year; he had thought it was out of battery, surprisingly it was still holding strong.

He pulled open the drawer, "Excuse , I need to take this call."

As he spoke, he slid the screen and answered, putting it to his ear.

Shen Zhixi listened intently. Jiang Xuan spoke in a minor language, his pronunciation impeccable.

"Arrived in Capital City? Good, approve the action. Oh and, inform them to convene the O League’s supre eting next week, to impeach a senior official..."
