"Oh right. That would indeed be unfair," Arabella realized when Felix asked.

In Ivan’s case, he had more docunts he worked on. Thus, what Felix ant was Ivan may have an advantage because of it. But it was a double-edged sword. As much as Ivan could have more docunts with the least corrections, he could also have the most.

"Then, let’s make it like this. Since all of you have a different number of docunts or tasks to work on, it would be on a percentage basis, not per docunt," Arabella added.

Everyone agreed so they settled on it.

With that, everyone began working in high spirits. The tense atmosphere from earlier was gone and everyone focused on their work.

Arabella was relieved it went well. With a new goal in mind, everyone no longer lingered about Narcissa.

Arabella was also able to focus on her work.

By lunchti, Rowan handed her a letter. It was a report from Riley. He did not want to disturb her while she was working so he wrote it instead.

To Her Imperial Majesty,

After having tea with Lady Renee this morning, Lord Darcus and Lord Orpheus helped her pick flowers.

Lord Darcus made a bracelet made of flowers and made Lady Renee wear it. She stared at it silently for several seconds and gently caressed it. She said soone had made such kind of bracelet for her before, but she couldn’t recall who.

Lord Orpheus made a crown out of flowers and placed it on Lady Renee’s head. She said it felt nostalgic.

They then invited her for lunch at a gazebo in the garden to enjoy the sun and the view while they were eating.

Lady Renee had agreed to eat with them.

I wanted to let Your Majesty know in case you would like to observe.

’Oh, my goodness!! Everything is progressing so quickly.’

Arabella noted that Renee must be grabbing the opportunity since who knew when she would get a day off again? And Renee knew she might be leaving soon so she must be set on having fun before she heads to Zygos.

Arabella excitedly got out of her office. Of course, she would like to observe.

Riley’s report hinted that Renee was beginning to rember so things but could still not recall everything.

"Let’s go and observe for a bit," Arabella said to her guards.

"Yes, Your Majesty," Rowan cast invisibility magic on them and teleported them near the gazebo Riley ntioned.

When they arrived, the three were already in the gazebo.

Renee had a smile on her face and looked absorbed in their conversation. She was discussing how to properly eat for Valerian nobles.

Darcus and Orpheus must have asked about it and used it as another reason to invite Renee to lunch.

Riley was standing close by. He was invisible to Renee and passersby but made himself visible to Arabella and her guards.

[We have more observers.] Darcus and Orpheus glanced in their direction and bowed their head slightly to Arabella.

"What’s wrong?" Renee inquired and followed their gaze.

"Ah, we just thought we saw sothing move. But it was just the wind."

"I believe understood most of what you discussed, my lady. Shall we eat so we can apply it? Please do correct us if we do sothing wrong."

They distracted Renee so she wouldn’t notice.

’I knew it. They asked her to teach them about Valerian table manners. They are smooth. I won’t need to interfere if it’s like this.’

Arabella observed for a bit and Renee did keep correcting the two when they made mistakes.

She gestured for Rowan to teleport them back since she also needed to eat her lunch and return to work.

Three days passed by and Alwin hadn’t shown his face once.

He was still asleep. He was indeed burned out from his mission in Umbra especially with the curse on him since he was constantly healing himself.

Even while he was asleep, he had cast spells to continue the healing process.

Arabella did not dare disturb him and just let him sleep even when Evania’s energy rose again. Darcus and Orprheus handled it.

Riley also managed to continue doing Alwin’s work while monitoring their guests and their daily activities.

Their guests kept eting with Renee after the educational lunch date with her. They found the perfect reason to get close to her.

Thus, once Renee was done with her maid duties, she t up with Darcus and Orpheus to keep teaching them about table manners and Valerian etiquette and rules they needed to be aware of.

Though Renee still wondered why she was not seeing Alwin around, she was occupied with the two, so she did not loiter around near the Magic Tower again in her free ti.

On the fourth day since Alwin took a break, he finally awakened.

"Why didn’t you wake up?!" was his first complaint to them when he realized he slept for more than three days.

"Nothing so urgent that needed your attention happened," Arabella reasoned.

"Even so. It should have been just a day," Alwin glanced at Riley, wordlessly asking why the latter did not wake him up either.

"I told them not to disturb you if there was nothing urgent," Arabella imdiately cut in so Alwin would not bla them. She had indeed told them not to disturb Alwin’s sleep because of what she learned from his thoughts.

Not sleeping for months must have been exhausting. Sure, Alwin did not need to sleep every night since he was among the long-lived races, but he was clearly exhausted.

"Who are you to order them to do that? Riley is my-"

"I’m the Empress and I’m your Mistress," Arabella reminded. Alwin would have to call her ’My Lady’ in Estrella since he calls Ferdinand, ’My Lord.’

". . ." Alwin was about to debate more but he realized she was right, so he stopped. Riley was also in charge of his work while he was gone so Arabella could command him.

"Just be grateful you had a good sleep. Your skin looks so much better now," Arabella pointed out.

"Ugh, fine," Alwin sighed as he made a mirror appear out of nowhere and checked himself. He did look much better. And he was no longer as cranky after he got so rest.
