"Please spare the child. He’s not aware of everything yet. Rather, I believe he doesn’t have a clue about it," Arabella reminded Alvis.

[Right. No wonder he looks horrified. Regis should have at least inford him of the truth when he was old enough to understand.]

"Ronald, that’s sothing you have inherited from your father so please don’t worry. We will explain everything later. You too Ivan. There’s no need to panic or anything," Arabella tried to calm them since they were confused as hell.

[My body suddenly changed to this, but I inherited it from my father? What’s going on? So, my father is like this mysterious person? And he just called himself an elf.] Ronald thought.

[He just said he’s the King of Elves. And he does have an elf-like appearance. Is this so kind of play or this is a dream? Is this even really happening?] Ivan wondered if he was having a weird dream.

"Y-Yes, Your Majesty," the two replied even though it was clear on their faces that they both wondered what was there not to panic about when they had just witnessed things that they could not comprehend.

[But what’s this feeling? It’s like sothing hot is filling my entire body. And it keeps surging. It began when this person appeared. It feels like my body will explode if it does not stop.] Ronald wondered as he glanced at his hands.

’What does he an?’ Arabella checked on Ronald’s appearance and didn’t notice anything else aside from his elf ears and white hair.

"A full-fledged human," Alvis stared at Ivan. The latter paled under the gaze of the forr King of Elves.

’I have to deal with this person first.’

"His na is Ivan. He is my assistant. The sa is true for Ronald, the one you recognized as Regis’ son. They are here with special permission," Arabella explained.

Alvis’ eyes darted to the bracelets Ivan and Ronald were wearing.

[The rules have been changing so much lately. A pureblood human with no connections here is even allowed to enter. He has a scent of fragrant trees on him. Where have I picked up this scent before? Is he soone’s mate in the future so Elrond allowed him in?]

"I see. Then, please allow to cast a spell to balance out the flow of Ronald’s mana so this human," Alvis paused and glanced at Ivan.

"Ivan," Arabella corrected. It sounded rude to simply call him human when he had a na.

Arabella herself was a full-fledged human regardless of her past lives or being Ferdinand’s mate.

[I see. No wonder she is my lord’s mate. She’s not terrified even in the face of the King of Elves and even dares to correct him.] Rowan thought in approval.

’Because he doesn’t look terrifying to ,’ Arabella thought.

Elves were never terrifying to her since she adored them since she was a child.

Alvis, just like Ferdinand and Alwin was also oozing with such a strong and mysterious aura about him, but he didn’t look terrifying.

’Or is he cruel or sothing?’

Arabella wondered if it was a matter of personality issues. Or was it because he was the King of the Elves?

’I’m an Empress myself. Why should I fear another ruler?’ Arabella thought.

And she had been one for more than two decades. She was used to her role and knew she did not need to bend or bow to another sovereign. Unless they were coming to kill her, and she had to beg for her life.

But as an Empress, she would never do that even if they killed her. She had to hold her head high for her and Valeria’s pride.

"Right, my apologies. Ivan," Alvis corrected, and Arabella nodded for him to continue what he was about to say earlier.

"Please allow to cast a spell to balance out the flow of Ronald’s surging mana. He doesn’t seem to know how, and Ivan may be in danger if Ronald’s mana goes out of control while they are working together," Alvis explained.

Arabella glanced at Rendell and Rowan for their knowledge in this matter since she was not educated about magic. When they both nodded and said it was alright, she gave her approval.

Ronald tensed as Alvis approached him.

"There’s no need to be afraid, young one. I am our kind’s protector. Especially for new buds such as yourself. Your father is a friend of mine," Alvis said and touched Ronald’s forehead.

The tip of Alvis’ finger and the part he touched on Ronald’s forehead glowed with a green light for a bit and quickly vanished.

[Eh? The overflowing heat and energy I have been feeling since earlier settled down. He used magic on with a single touch that barely lasted a second?] Ronald was in awe since Alvis did not say a single word to activate a spell.

"There, your mana won’t go out of control. But watch your emotions and manage them well," Alvis smiled kindly to Ronald. The kind the elderly give to children.

"Thank you," Ronald bowed low.

He froze when he realized he just bowed low to soone else, honoring them as if they were royalty, while Arabella, the Empress of the Empire was right there. It was akin to disloyalty or indecisiveness and bowing to two crowns.

"Ah, please pardon him. All elves instinctively bow to ," Alvis explained so Arabella would not be offended.

But she wasn’t since she already knew that Estrella had rulers of their own. Thus, Estrellians would naturally have to respect them as well. Rather, Estrellians would have to prioritize them.

However, since Ronald was both Valerian and Estrellian, he had to bow to both especially since he was still living in Valeria.

"Yes, it’s alright. I understand," Arabella smiled politely.

[Her Majesty knows about them? Then, what was that matter about being the Fairy Queen? Are they saying Her Majesty is not human as well?] Ivan and Ronald both wondered.

’I’m human and I don’t know anything about being the Fairy Queen and that’s exactly why I needed to speak with Alvis.’

"I will explain things later. For now, please excuse us, I must speak with our guest," Arabella repeated and headed to a guest room with Alvis, Rendell, and Rowan.
